Versículo 11 de 78

وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يَعۡبُدُ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ حَرۡفٖۖ فَإِنۡ أَصَابَهُۥ خَيۡرٌ ٱطۡمَأَنَّ بِهِۦۖ وَإِنۡ أَصَابَتۡهُ فِتۡنَةٌ ٱنقَلَبَ عَلَىٰ وَجۡهِهِۦ خَسِرَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةَۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلۡخُسۡرَانُ ٱلۡمُبِينُ

Wa minan naasi mai ya'budul laaha 'alaa harfin fa in asaabahoo khairunit maanna bihee wa in asaabat hu fitnatunin qalaba 'alaa wajhihee khasirad dunyaa wal aakhirah; zaalika huwal khusraanul mubeen
11. Y entre los hombres hay quien adora a Al-lah lleno de dudas. Si le sucede algo bueno, se tranquiliza; mas si se ve afectado por la adversidad, reniega de su fe y echa a perderla vida terrenal y la eterna. Esta es una clara pérdida.

Versículo 12 de 78

يَدۡعُواْ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَضُرُّهُۥ وَمَا لَا يَنفَعُهُۥۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلضَّلَٰلُ ٱلۡبَعِيدُ

Yad'oo min doonil laahi maa laa yadurruhoo wa maa laa yanfa'uh' zaalika huwad dalaalul ba'ed
12. (Este indeciso) adora en vez de a Al-lah lo que no tiene poder para perjudicarlo ni beneficiarlo. Ese es el gran extravío.

Versículo 13 de 78

يَدۡعُواْ لَمَن ضَرُّهُۥٓ أَقۡرَبُ مِن نَّفۡعِهِۦۚ لَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمَوۡلَىٰ وَلَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡعَشِيرُ

Yad'oo laman darruhooo aqrabu min naf'ih; labi'salmawlaa wa labi'sal 'asheer
13. Adora aquello que lo perjudica más de lo que lo beneficia. ¡Qué pésimo protector y compañero (ha tomado)!

Versículo 14 de 78

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُدۡخِلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ جَنَّـٰتٖ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَفۡعَلُ مَا يُرِيدُ

Innal laaha yudkhilul lazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati jannaatin tajree min tahtihal anhaar; innal laaha yaf'alu maa yureed
14. Al-lah hará que quienes crean y actúen rectamente entren en jardines por donde corren ríos. En verdad, Al-lah hace lo que quiere.

Versículo 15 de 78

مَن كَانَ يَظُنُّ أَن لَّن يَنصُرَهُ ٱللَّهُ فِي ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ فَلۡيَمۡدُدۡ بِسَبَبٍ إِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ ثُمَّ لۡيَقۡطَعۡ فَلۡيَنظُرۡ هَلۡ يُذۡهِبَنَّ كَيۡدُهُۥ مَا يَغِيظُ

Man kaana yazunnu allai yansurahul laahu fid dunyaa wal aakhirati fal yamdud bisababin ilas samaaa'i summal yaqta' falyanzur hal yuzhibanna kaiduhoo maa yagheez
15. Quien pensaba que Al-lah no auxiliaría(a Su Mensajero) en esta vida ni en la otra (y ve ahora frustradas sus esperanzas y ello lo llena de rabia) que intente llegar al cielo por algún medio y corte la ayuda de Al-lah, y vea si su plan acaba con lo que lo enfurece[622].

Versículo 16 de 78

وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ ءَايَٰتِۭ بَيِّنَٰتٖ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَهۡدِي مَن يُرِيدُ

Wa kazaalika anzalnaahu aayaatim baiyinaatinw wa annal laaha yahdee mai yureed
16. Y así es como hemos revelado (el Corán) en claras aleyas. Y, ciertamente, Al-lah guía a quien quiere.

Versículo 17 de 78

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَٱلَّذِينَ هَادُواْ وَٱلصَّـٰبِـِٔينَ وَٱلنَّصَٰرَىٰ وَٱلۡمَجُوسَ وَٱلَّذِينَ أَشۡرَكُوٓاْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَفۡصِلُ بَيۡنَهُمۡ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ شَهِيدٌ

Innal lazeena aamanoo wallazeena haadoo was saabi'eena wan nasaaraa wal Majoosa wallazeena ashrakooo innal laaha yafsilu bainahum yawmal qiyaamah; innal laaha 'alaa kulli shai'in shaheed
17. En verdad, el Día de la Resurrección, Al-lah juzgará entre los creyentes (los musulmanes), los judíos, los sabeos, los cristianos, los adoradores del fuego y los idólatras. Ciertamente, Al-lah es testigo de todas las cosas.

Versículo 18 de 78

أَلَمۡ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَسۡجُدُۤ لَهُۥۤ مَن فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَن فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَٱلشَّمۡسُ وَٱلۡقَمَرُ وَٱلنُّجُومُ وَٱلۡجِبَالُ وَٱلشَّجَرُ وَٱلدَّوَآبُّ وَكَثِيرٞ مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِۖ وَكَثِيرٌ حَقَّ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلۡعَذَابُۗ وَمَن يُهِنِ ٱللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِن مُّكۡرِمٍۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَفۡعَلُ مَا يَشَآءُ۩

Alam tara annal laaha yasjudu lahoo man fis samaawaati wa man fil ardi wash shamsu walqamaru wan nu joomu wal jibaalu wash shajaru wad dawaaabbu wa kaseerum minan naasi wa kaseerun haqqa 'alaihil 'azaab; wa mai yuhinil laahu famaa lahoo mim mukrim; innallaaha yaf'alu maa yashaaa (make sajda)
18. ¿Acaso no sabes que todo cuanto hay en los cielos y en la tierra —el sol, la luna, las estrellas, las montañas, los árboles, los animales y muchos hombres— se postra ante Al-lah[623]? Pero muchos hombres merecerán Su castigo. Y a quien Al-lah humille, nadie podrá honrarlo. Ciertamente, Al-lah hace lo que desea.

Versículo 19 de 78

۞هَٰذَانِ خَصۡمَانِ ٱخۡتَصَمُواْ فِي رَبِّهِمۡۖ فَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ قُطِّعَتۡ لَهُمۡ ثِيَابٞ مِّن نَّارٖ يُصَبُّ مِن فَوۡقِ رُءُوسِهِمُ ٱلۡحَمِيمُ

Haazaani khasmaanikh tasamoo fee Rabbihim fal lazeena kafaroo qutti'at lahum siyaabum min naar; yusabbu min fawqi ru'oosihimul hameem
19. Estos dos grupos (los creyentes y los incrédulos) son adversarios que discuten acerca de su Señor. Quienes rechazan la verdad vestirán prendas de fuego y se les verterá agua hirviendo sobre sus cabezas.

Versículo 20 de 78

يُصۡهَرُ بِهِۦ مَا فِي بُطُونِهِمۡ وَٱلۡجُلُودُ

Yusharu bihee maa fee butoonihim waljulood
20. (Esta) derretirá lo que se halle en el interior de los estómagos, así como la piel.
