Versículo 101 de 176

وَإِذَا ضَرَبۡتُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَلَيۡسَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ جُنَاحٌ أَن تَقۡصُرُواْ مِنَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ إِنۡ خِفۡتُمۡ أَن يَفۡتِنَكُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْۚ إِنَّ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ كَانُواْ لَكُمۡ عَدُوّٗا مُّبِينٗا

Wa izaa darabtum fil ardi falaisa 'alaikum junaahun an taqsuroo minas Salaati in khiftum ai yaftinakumul lazeena kafarooo; innal kaafireena kaanoo lakum aduwwam mubeenaa
101. Y no cometéis ningún pecado si, cuando os encontráis de viaje, acortáis vuestros rezos ante el temor de que os ataquen quienes rechazan la verdad. Quienes niegan la verdad son, ciertamente, unos declarados enemigos vuestros[156].

Versículo 102 de 176

وَإِذَا كُنتَ فِيهِمۡ فَأَقَمۡتَ لَهُمُ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ فَلۡتَقُمۡ طَآئِفَةٞ مِّنۡهُم مَّعَكَ وَلۡيَأۡخُذُوٓاْ أَسۡلِحَتَهُمۡۖ فَإِذَا سَجَدُواْ فَلۡيَكُونُواْ مِن وَرَآئِكُمۡ وَلۡتَأۡتِ طَآئِفَةٌ أُخۡرَىٰ لَمۡ يُصَلُّواْ فَلۡيُصَلُّواْ مَعَكَ وَلۡيَأۡخُذُواْ حِذۡرَهُمۡ وَأَسۡلِحَتَهُمۡۗ وَدَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَوۡ تَغۡفُلُونَ عَنۡ أَسۡلِحَتِكُمۡ وَأَمۡتِعَتِكُمۡ فَيَمِيلُونَ عَلَيۡكُم مَّيۡلَةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗۚ وَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ إِن كَانَ بِكُمۡ أَذٗى مِّن مَّطَرٍ أَوۡ كُنتُم مَّرۡضَىٰٓ أَن تَضَعُوٓاْ أَسۡلِحَتَكُمۡۖ وَخُذُواْ حِذۡرَكُمۡۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ أَعَدَّ لِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ عَذَابٗا مُّهِينٗا

Wa izaa kunta feehim fa aqamta lahumus Salaata faltaqum taaa'ifatum minhum ma'aka wal ya'khuzoo aslihatahum fa izaa sajadoo fal yakoonoo minw waraaa'ikum wal ta'ti taaa'ifatun ukhraa lam yusalloo falyusallo ma'aka wal ya'khuzoo hizrahum wa aslihatahum; waddal lazeena kafaroo law taghfuloona 'anaslihatikum wa amti'atikum fa yameeloona 'alaikum mailatanw waahidah; wa laa junaaha 'alaikum in kaana bikum azam mimmatarin aw kuntum mardaaa an tada'ooo aslihatakum wa khuzoo hizrakum; innal laaha a'adda lilkaafireena 'azaabam muheenaa
102. Y cuando estés entre los creyentes (¡oh, Muhammad!) y los dirijas en el salat[157] (y temáis una acción por parte de vuestro enemigo), que un grupo (de los creyentes) rece contigo llevando sus armas (y que el resto, armado, si sitúe detrás de vosotros y de cara al enemigo). Cuando finalicen las postraciones, que (quienes hayan rezado) se sitúen detrás y recen contigo quienes aún no lo han hecho, tomando precauciones y portando sus armas. Quienes rechazan la verdad quisieran que descuidaseis vuestras armas y vuestros enseres para lanzarse sobre vosotros en un solo ataque. No cometéis ninguna falta si deponéis vuestras armas debido a la lluvia o a alguna enfermedad; pero tomad precauciones. Ciertamente, Al-lah ha preparado un castigo humillante a quienes rechazan la verdad.

فَإِذَا قَضَيۡتُمُ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ فَٱذۡكُرُواْ ٱللَّهَ قِيَٰمٗا وَقُعُودٗا وَعَلَىٰ جُنُوبِكُمۡۚ فَإِذَا ٱطۡمَأۡنَنتُمۡ فَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَۚ إِنَّ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ كَانَتۡ عَلَى ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ كِتَٰبٗا مَّوۡقُوتٗا

Fa izaa qadaitumus Salaata fazkurul laaha qiyaamanw wa qu'oodanw wa 'alaa junoobikum; fa izatma'nantum fa aqeemus Salaah; innas Salaata kaanat 'alal mu'mineena kitaabam mawqootaa
103. Y, una vez finalizado el salat, glorificad a Al-lah de pie, sentados o recostados. Pero, cuando estéis a salvo, rezadle a Al-lah (como Él os ha ordenado, con devoción y recogimiento y respetando todas las obligaciones). En verdad, los rezos han sido prescritos a unas horas determinadas.

وَلَا تَهِنُواْ فِي ٱبۡتِغَآءِ ٱلۡقَوۡمِۖ إِن تَكُونُواْ تَأۡلَمُونَ فَإِنَّهُمۡ يَأۡلَمُونَ كَمَا تَأۡلَمُونَۖ وَتَرۡجُونَ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَرۡجُونَۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا

Wa laa tahinoo fibtighaaa'il qawmi in takoonoo ta'lamoona fa innahum ya'lamoona kamaa ta'lamoona wa tarjoona minal laahi maa laa yarjoon; wa kaanal laahu 'Aleeman Hakeemaa
104. Y no flaqueéis en la persecución del enemigo. Si sufrís (desgracias), ellos también (las) sufren como vosotros, pero vosotros anheláis de Al-lah lo que ellos no anhelan (el paraíso); y Al-lah es Omnisciente y Sabio.

Versículo 105 de 176

إِنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَآ إِلَيۡكَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ لِتَحۡكُمَ بَيۡنَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِمَآ أَرَىٰكَ ٱللَّهُۚ وَلَا تَكُن لِّلۡخَآئِنِينَ خَصِيمٗا

Innaaa anzalnaaa ilaikal Kitaaba bilhaqqi litahkuma bainan naasi bimaaa araakal laah; wa laa takul lilkhaaa'ineena khaseemaa
105. Te hemos revelado el Libro (el Corán) con la verdad (¡oh, Muhammad!), para que juzgues entre los hombres según lo que Al-lah te ha enseñado. Y no defiendas a quienes se traicionan a ellos mismos (ocultando la verdad y mintiendo sobre ella)[158].

وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرِ ٱللَّهَۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ غَفُورٗا رَّحِيمٗا

Wastaghfiril laaha innal laaha kaana Ghafoorar Raheema
106. Y pide perdón a Al-lah (en todas las situaciones); ciertamente, Al-lah es Indulgente y Misericordioso.

Versículo 107 de 176

وَلَا تُجَٰدِلۡ عَنِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخۡتَانُونَ أَنفُسَهُمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ خَوَّانًا أَثِيمٗا

Wa laa tujaadil 'anil lazeena yakhtaanoona anfusahum; innal laaha laa yuhibbuman kaana khawwaanan aseemaa
107. Y no defiendas a quienes se traicionan a sí mismos. Al-lah no ama al traidor pecador.

Versículo 108 de 176

يَسۡتَخۡفُونَ مِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَا يَسۡتَخۡفُونَ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ وَهُوَ مَعَهُمۡ إِذۡ يُبَيِّتُونَ مَا لَا يَرۡضَىٰ مِنَ ٱلۡقَوۡلِۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ بِمَا يَعۡمَلُونَ مُحِيطًا

Yastakhfoona minannaasi wa laa yastakh foona minal laahi wa huwa ma'ahum iz yubaiyitoona maa laa yardaa minal qawl; wa kaanal laahu bimaa ya'maloona muheetaa
108. (Los hipócritas) ocultan a los hombres (sus malas acciones) pero no pueden ocultárselas a Al-lah, pues Él está con ellos (a través de Su conocimiento) cuando conspiran por la noche con palabras que no son de Su agrado. Y (el conocimiento de) Al-lah abarca todo lo que hacen.

هَـٰٓأَنتُمۡ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ جَٰدَلۡتُمۡ عَنۡهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا فَمَن يُجَٰدِلُ ٱللَّهَ عَنۡهُمۡ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ أَم مَّن يَكُونُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَكِيلٗا

Haaa antum haaa'ulaaa'i jaadaltum 'anhum fil hayaatid dunyaa famai yujaadilul laaha 'anhum Yawmal Qiyaamati am mai yakoonu 'alaihim wakeelaa
109. (Algunos de) vosotros los defendisteis en esta vida, pero ¿quién los defenderá ante Al-lah el Día de la Resurrección? ¿Quién los protegerá?

Versículo 110 de 176

وَمَن يَعۡمَلۡ سُوٓءًا أَوۡ يَظۡلِمۡ نَفۡسَهُۥ ثُمَّ يَسۡتَغۡفِرِ ٱللَّهَ يَجِدِ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٗا رَّحِيمٗا

Wa mai ya'mal sooo'an aw yazlim nafsahoo summa yastaghfiril laaha yajidil laaha Ghafoorar Raheemaa
110. Quien obre mal o sea injusto consigo mismo (por sus malas acciones) y busque después el perdón de Al-lah hallará que Al-lah es Indulgente y Misericordioso.

This sûrah mainly describes about the rights of women (as its name implies), the law of inheritance, orphan care, lawful and unlawful marriage partners, and a demonstration of justice in verses 105-112. Later on, it transitions to cover striving for AllÄh's cause as well as relations between Muslims and People of the Book; it culminates with a response to claims about Jesus's ( ï·º ) crucifixion and divinity. This sûrah joins its predecessors and successors by bringing up the topic of hypocrisy – a recurring theme in many.
