۞مُنِيبِينَ إِلَيۡهِ وَٱتَّقُوهُ وَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَلَا تَكُونُواْ مِنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ

Muneebeena ilaihi wattaqoohu wa aqeemus Salaata wa laa takoonoo minal mushrikeen
(நீங்கள் அனைவரும்) அவன் பக்கம் முற்றிலும் திரும்பியவர்களாக இருங்கள். இன்னும், அவனை அஞ்சிக் கொள்ளுங்கள். இன்னும், தொழுகையை நிலை நிறுத்துங்கள். இணைவைப்பவர்களில் நீங்கள் ஆகிவிடாதீர்கள்.

مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ فَرَّقُواْ دِينَهُمۡ وَكَانُواْ شِيَعٗاۖ كُلُّ حِزۡبِۭ بِمَا لَدَيۡهِمۡ فَرِحُونَ

Minal lazeena farraqoo deenahum wa kaanoo shiya'an kullu hizbim bimaa ladaihim farihoon
தங்களது மார்க்கத்தை(யும் வழிபாடுகளையும் இறைவன் அல்லாதவர்களுக்காக) பிரித்து பல (கடவுள்களை வணங்கி, பல) பிரிவுகளாக ஆகிவிட்டவர்களில் நீங்கள் ஆகிவிடாதீர்கள். ஒவ்வொரு பிரிவும் தங்களிடம் உள்ளதைக் கொண்டு மகிழ்ச்சியடைகிறார்கள்.

وَإِذَا مَسَّ ٱلنَّاسَ ضُرّٞ دَعَوۡاْ رَبَّهُم مُّنِيبِينَ إِلَيۡهِ ثُمَّ إِذَآ أَذَاقَهُم مِّنۡهُ رَحۡمَةً إِذَا فَرِيقٞ مِّنۡهُم بِرَبِّهِمۡ يُشۡرِكُونَ

Wa izaa massan naasa durrun da'aw Rabbahum muneebeena ilaihi summa izaaa azaqahum minhu rahmatan izaa fareequm minhum be Rabbihim yushrikoon
இன்னும், மக்களுக்கு ஒரு தீங்கு நேர்ந்தால் தங்கள் இறைவனை - அவன் பக்கம் முற்றிலும் திரும்பியவர்களாக - அழைக்கிறார்கள். பிறகு, அவன் தன் புறத்திலிருந்து அவர்களுக்கு (தனது) அருளை சுவைக்க வைத்தால் அப்போது அவர்களில் ஒரு சாரார் தங்கள் (பொய்யான தெய்வங்களை) இறைவனுக்கு இணைவைக்கிறார்கள்.

لِيَكۡفُرُواْ بِمَآ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمۡۚ فَتَمَتَّعُواْ فَسَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ

Li yakfuroo bimaaa aatainaahum; fatamatta'oo fasawfa ta'lamoon
நாம் அவர்களுக்கு கொடுத்தவற்றை (-நமது அருட்கொடைகளுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்தாமல்) நிராகரிப்பதற்காக (இவ்வாறு இணைவைக்கிறார்கள்). ஆக, (இணைவைப்போரே! சிறிது காலம்) சுகம் அனுபவியுங்கள்! ஆக, (மறுமையில் உங்கள் முடிவை) நீங்கள் அறிவீர்கள்.

أَمۡ أَنزَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ سُلۡطَٰنٗا فَهُوَ يَتَكَلَّمُ بِمَا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ يُشۡرِكُونَ

Am anzalnaa 'alaihim sultaanan fahuwa yatakallamu bimaa kaanoo bihee yushrikoon
(அவர்களின் இணைவைப்புக்கு) அவர்கள் மீது நாம் ஓர் ஆதாரத்தை இறக்கினோமா? அவர்கள் எதை அவனுக்கு இணைவைப்பவர்களாக இருந்தார்களோ அதைப் பற்றி (அது சரி என்று) அ(ந்த ஆதாரமான)து பேசுகிறதா?

وَإِذَآ أَذَقۡنَا ٱلنَّاسَ رَحۡمَةٗ فَرِحُواْ بِهَاۖ وَإِن تُصِبۡهُمۡ سَيِّئَةُۢ بِمَا قَدَّمَتۡ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ إِذَا هُمۡ يَقۡنَطُونَ

Wa izaaa azaqnan naasa rahmatan farihoo bihaa wa in tusibhum sayyi'atum bimaa qaddamat aydeehim izaa hum yaqnatoon
இன்னும், மக்களுக்கு நாம் (நமது) அருளை சுவைக்க வைத்தால் அவர்கள் அதனால் மகிழ்ச்சியடைகிறார்கள். இன்னும், அவர்களின் கரங்கள் முற்படுத்திய (பாவத்)தால் அவர்களை ஒரு தீமை அடைந்தால், அப்போது அவர்கள் நிராசையடைந்து விடுகிறார்கள்.

أَوَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَبۡسُطُ ٱلرِّزۡقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيَقۡدِرُۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّقَوۡمٖ يُؤۡمِنُونَ

Awalam yaraw annal laaha yabsutur rizqa limai yashaaa'u wa yaqdir; inna fee zaalika la Aayaatil liqawminy yu'minoon
இவர்கள் பார்க்க வேண்டாமா? நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் தான் நாடியவருக்கு உணவை விசாலமாக்குகிறான். இன்னும், (தான் நாடியவருக்கு) சுருக்கி விடுகிறான். நம்பிக்கை கொள்கிற மக்களுக்கு நிச்சயமாக இதில் பல அத்தாட்சிகள் இருக்கின்றன.

فَـَٔاتِ ذَا ٱلۡقُرۡبَىٰ حَقَّهُۥ وَٱلۡمِسۡكِينَ وَٱبۡنَ ٱلسَّبِيلِۚ ذَٰلِكَ خَيۡرٞ لِّلَّذِينَ يُرِيدُونَ وَجۡهَ ٱللَّهِۖ وَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ

Fa aati zal qurbaa haqqahoo walmiskeena wabnassabeel; zaalika khairul lil lazeena yureedoona Wajhal laahi wa ulaaa'ika humul muflihoon
ஆகவே, உறவினர்கள், வறியவர்கள், வழிப்போக்கர்கள் ஆகியோருக்கு அவர்களின் உரிமைகளை கொடுப்பீராக! அல்லாஹ்வின் முகத்தை நாடுவோருக்கு இ(வ்வாறு தர்மம் கொடுப்ப)துதான் சிறந்ததாகும். இன்னும், இவர்கள்தான் வெற்றியாளர்கள்.

وَمَآ ءَاتَيۡتُم مِّن رِّبٗا لِّيَرۡبُوَاْ فِيٓ أَمۡوَٰلِ ٱلنَّاسِ فَلَا يَرۡبُواْ عِندَ ٱللَّهِۖ وَمَآ ءَاتَيۡتُم مِّن زَكَوٰةٖ تُرِيدُونَ وَجۡهَ ٱللَّهِ فَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُضۡعِفُونَ

Wa maaa aataitum mir ribal li yarbuwa feee amwaalin naasi falaa yarboo 'indal laahi wa maaa aataitum min zaakaatin tureedoona wajhal laahi fa ulaaa'ika humul mud'ifoon
மக்களின் செல்வங்களில் வளர்ச்சி காணுவதற்காக (பிரதிபலனை எதிர்பார்த்து) அன்பளிப்புகளிலிருந்து எதை நீங்கள் கொடுத்தீர்களோ அது அல்லாஹ்விடம் வளர்ச்சி காணாது. அல்லாஹ்வின் முகத்தை நீங்கள் நாடியவர்களாக தர்மங்களிலிருந்து எதை நீங்கள் கொடுத்தீர்களோ (அதுதான் வளர்ச்சி அடையும். அப்படி கொடுக்கின்ற) அவர்கள்தான் (தங்கள் செல்வங்களையும் நன்மைகளையும்) பன்மடங்காக்கிக் கொள்பவர்கள்.

ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَكُمۡ ثُمَّ رَزَقَكُمۡ ثُمَّ يُمِيتُكُمۡ ثُمَّ يُحۡيِيكُمۡۖ هَلۡ مِن شُرَكَآئِكُم مَّن يَفۡعَلُ مِن ذَٰلِكُم مِّن شَيۡءٖۚ سُبۡحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يُشۡرِكُونَ

Allaahul lazee khalaqa kum summa razaqakum summa yumeetukum summa yuhyeekum hal min shurakaaa'ikum mai yaf'alu min zaalikum min shai'; Sub haanahoo wa Ta'aalaa 'ammaa yushrikoon (section 4)
அல்லாஹ்தான் உங்களைப் படைத்தான். பிறகு, அவன் உங்களுக்கு உணவளித்தான். பிறகு, அவன் உங்களை மரணிக்க வைப்பான். பிறகு, அவன் உங்களை உயிர்ப்பிப்பான். இவற்றில் (-இந்தக் காரியங்களில்) எதையும் செய்பவர் உங்கள் தெய்வங்களில் இருக்கிறாரா? (அல்லாஹ்வாகிய) அவனோ மிக பரிசுத்தமானவன். இன்னும், அவர்கள் இணைவைப்பவற்றை விட்டும் அவன் மிக உயர்ந்தவன்.
