Al-Falaq, or The Daybreak (Arabic: الفلق, al-falaq), is the 113th chapter (Surah) of the Qur'an. It is a brief Surah, consisting of five verses (Ayat), in which believers ask Allah for protection from various forms of evil.
In Surah al-Falaq, we ask Allah to protect us from the evil of all His Creations, including Iblis and Hellfire, as well as from specific creatures such as the darkness of night.
Seek refuge in Allah's from all evil.
Seek refuge in Him from the evil of the creation.
Seek refuge in Him from the darkness of the night.
Seek refuge in Him from the evil of the sorcerers.
Seek refuge in Him from those who harbour jealousy.
