Ayah 104

يَوۡمَ نَطۡوِي ٱلسَّمَآءَ كَطَيِّ ٱلسِّجِلِّ لِلۡكُتُبِۚ كَمَا بَدَأۡنَآ أَوَّلَ خَلۡقٖ نُّعِيدُهُۥۚ وَعۡدًا عَلَيۡنَآۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا فَٰعِلِينَ

104. The Day when We shall roll up the heavens as the angel Sajil rolls up [161], the record of deeds. As We made first, We shall restore [162], it. This is a promise on Us; We shall definitely do it.

Surah Name : Al-Anbiya   Surah Number : 21   Ayat Number: 104

Ayah 31

وَلَمَّا جَآءَتۡ رُسُلُنَآ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ بِٱلۡبُشۡرَىٰ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا مُهۡلِكُوٓاْ أَهۡلِ هَٰذِهِ ٱلۡقَرۡيَةِۖ إِنَّ أَهۡلَهَا كَانُواْ ظَٰلِمِينَ

31. When Our angels[71] came to Ibrahim with glad tidings [72], they said, “We shall surely destroy [73] the people of this city. Indeed, its inhabitants are oppressors [74].”

Surah Name : Al-Ankabut   Surah Number : 29   Ayat Number: 31

Ayah 32

قَالَ إِنَّ فِيهَا لُوطٗاۚ قَالُواْ نَحۡنُ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَن فِيهَاۖ لَنُنَجِّيَنَّهُۥ وَأَهۡلَهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱمۡرَأَتَهُۥ كَانَتۡ مِنَ ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَ

32. He said, “Indeed, there is Lut in it [75].” They said, “We know well [76] who is in it. We shall surely deliver him [77] and his family, except his wife, she is among those who remain behind [78].”

Ayah 33

وَلَمَّآ أَن جَآءَتۡ رُسُلُنَا لُوطٗا سِيٓءَ بِهِمۡ وَضَاقَ بِهِمۡ ذَرۡعٗاۖ وَقَالُواْ لَا تَخَفۡ وَلَا تَحۡزَنۡ إِنَّا مُنَجُّوكَ وَأَهۡلَكَ إِلَّا ٱمۡرَأَتَكَ كَانَتۡ مِنَ ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَ

33. And when Our angels [79] came to Lut, he felt uncomfortable with them and his heart was distressed [80]. They said, “Fear not and do not grieve, indeed, we shall deliver you [81] and your family [82], except your wife, she is among those who remain behind [83].”.

Surah Name : Al-Ankabut   Surah Number : 29   Ayat Number: 33

Ayah 24

فَقَالَ ٱلۡمَلَؤُاْ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن قَوۡمِهِۦ مَا هَٰذَآ إِلَّا بَشَرٞ مِّثۡلُكُمۡ يُرِيدُ أَن يَتَفَضَّلَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَلَوۡ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ لَأَنزَلَ مَلَـٰٓئِكَةٗ مَّا سَمِعۡنَا بِهَٰذَا فِيٓ ءَابَآئِنَا ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

24. Then the chiefs of his people who disbelieved said, 'He is not but a man [34] like you, he desires to become superior to you. And if Allah wills, He would have sent down His angels [35], we have not heard this amongst our forefathers (36).

Surah Name : Al-Muminun   Surah Number : 23   Ayat Number: 24

Ayah 64

وَمَا نَتَنَزَّلُ إِلَّا بِأَمۡرِ رَبِّكَۖ لَهُۥ مَا بَيۡنَ أَيۡدِينَا وَمَا خَلۡفَنَا وَمَا بَيۡنَ ذَٰلِكَۚ وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ نَسِيّٗا

64. (And Jibraeel said to the beloved Prophet) And we do not descend except by the command [115] of your Lord. His is whatever is before us and whatever is behind us and whatever is in between [116]. And your Lord is never forgetful.

Surah Name : Maryam   Surah Number : 19   Ayat Number: 64

Ayah 31

فَلَمَّا سَمِعَتۡ بِمَكۡرِهِنَّ أَرۡسَلَتۡ إِلَيۡهِنَّ وَأَعۡتَدَتۡ لَهُنَّ مُتَّكَـٔٗا وَءَاتَتۡ كُلَّ وَٰحِدَةٖ مِّنۡهُنَّ سِكِّينٗا وَقَالَتِ ٱخۡرُجۡ عَلَيۡهِنَّۖ فَلَمَّا رَأَيۡنَهُۥٓ أَكۡبَرۡنَهُۥ وَقَطَّعۡنَ أَيۡدِيَهُنَّ وَقُلۡنَ حَٰشَ لِلَّهِ مَا هَٰذَا بَشَرًا إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا مَلَكٞ كَرِيمٞ

31. Then when she heard their accusations, she invited them, prepared for them reclining couches, and gave each of them a knife. She then said, "Come out to them." When they saw him, they admired him greatly and cut their hands, saying, "Glory be to Allah! This is not a mortal; this is none other than a noble angel[68]."

Surah Name : Yusuf   Surah Number : 12   Ayat Number: 31

Ayah 9

إِذۡ تَسۡتَغِيثُونَ رَبَّكُمۡ فَٱسۡتَجَابَ لَكُمۡ أَنِّي مُمِدُّكُم بِأَلۡفٖ مِّنَ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ مُرۡدِفِينَ

9. When you were calling upon your Lord for help, He responded to you, "I am indeed sending to you a thousand angels [18] in succession [17]."

Ayah 12

إِذۡ يُوحِي رَبُّكَ إِلَى ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ أَنِّي مَعَكُمۡ فَثَبِّتُواْ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْۚ سَأُلۡقِي فِي قُلُوبِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ ٱلرُّعۡبَ فَٱضۡرِبُواْ فَوۡقَ ٱلۡأَعۡنَاقِ وَٱضۡرِبُواْ مِنۡهُمۡ كُلَّ بَنَانٖ

12. When your Lord revealed to the angels [25], "I am with you, so strengthen those who have believed [26]. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who have disbelieved. So strike them above the necks and strike off every fingertip of theirs" [27].

Surah Name : Al-Anfal   Surah Number : 8   Ayat Number: 12

Ayah 50

وَلَوۡ تَرَىٰٓ إِذۡ يَتَوَفَّى ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ يَضۡرِبُونَ وُجُوهَهُمۡ وَأَدۡبَٰرَهُمۡ وَذُوقُواْ عَذَابَ ٱلۡحَرِيقِ

50. And if you could see when the angels take the souls of the disbelievers [118], striking their faces and their backs [119], (saying), "Taste the punishment of burning" [120].

Ayah 11

لَهُۥ مُعَقِّبَٰتٞ مِّنۢ بَيۡنِ يَدَيۡهِ وَمِنۡ خَلۡفِهِۦ يَحۡفَظُونَهُۥ مِنۡ أَمۡرِ ٱللَّهِۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوۡمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُواْ مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمۡۗ وَإِذَآ أَرَادَ ٱللَّهُ بِقَوۡمٖ سُوٓءٗا فَلَا مَرَدَّ لَهُۥۚ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن دُونِهِۦ مِن وَالٍ

11. For each person, there are angels in succession before [28] and behind him, guarding him by Allah’s command [29]. Indeed, Allah does not change the condition of a people until they change what is within themselves [30]. And when Allah intends to bring calamity upon a people, it cannot be averted [31], and they have no protector besides Him [32].

Surah Name : Ar-Rad   Surah Number : 13   Ayat Number: 11

Ayah 13

وَيُسَبِّحُ ٱلرَّعۡدُ بِحَمۡدِهِۦ وَٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ مِنۡ خِيفَتِهِۦ وَيُرۡسِلُ ٱلصَّوَٰعِقَ فَيُصِيبُ بِهَا مَن يَشَآءُ وَهُمۡ يُجَٰدِلُونَ فِي ٱللَّهِ وَهُوَ شَدِيدُ ٱلۡمِحَالِ

13. And the thunder praises Him with His praise [35], and the angels, out of awe of Him [36]. He sends thunderbolts, striking whom He wills with them, while they dispute concerning Allah, and His grip is severe.

Surah Name : Ar-Rad   Surah Number : 13   Ayat Number: 13

Ayah 23

جَنَّـٰتُ عَدۡنٖ يَدۡخُلُونَهَا وَمَن صَلَحَ مِنۡ ءَابَآئِهِمۡ وَأَزۡوَٰجِهِمۡ وَذُرِّيَّـٰتِهِمۡۖ وَٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ يَدۡخُلُونَ عَلَيۡهِم مِّن كُلِّ بَابٖ

23. Gardens of perpetual residence which they will enter, along with whoever was righteous among their fathers, their spouses, and their descendants [69], and the angels will enter to them from every gate [70],

Surah Name : Ar-Rad   Surah Number : 13   Ayat Number: 23

Ayah 96

قَالَ بَصُرۡتُ بِمَا لَمۡ يَبۡصُرُواْ بِهِۦ فَقَبَضۡتُ قَبۡضَةٗ مِّنۡ أَثَرِ ٱلرَّسُولِ فَنَبَذۡتُهَا وَكَذَٰلِكَ سَوَّلَتۡ لِي نَفۡسِي

96. He said, 'I saw what the people did not see, [134] so I took a handful of dust from the angel's footstep and cast it, [135] and this seemed fair to my soul.' (136)

Surah Name : Ta-Ha   Surah Number : 20   Ayat Number: 96

Ayah 116

وَإِذۡ قُلۡنَا لِلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ ٱسۡجُدُواْ لِأٓدَمَ فَسَجَدُوٓاْ إِلَّآ إِبۡلِيسَ أَبَىٰ

116. And when We said angels, 'prostrate before Adam, then all prostrated but Iblees (the devil) he refused (163).

Surah Name : Ta-Ha   Surah Number : 20   Ayat Number: 116

Ayah 11

وَلَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَٰكُمۡ ثُمَّ صَوَّرۡنَٰكُمۡ ثُمَّ قُلۡنَا لِلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ ٱسۡجُدُواْ لِأٓدَمَ فَسَجَدُوٓاْ إِلَّآ إِبۡلِيسَ لَمۡ يَكُن مِّنَ ٱلسَّـٰجِدِينَ

11. And indeed, We created you, and then fashioned you [15]. Then We said to the angels, "Prostrate to Adam" [16]. They all prostrated except Iblis; he was not of those who prostrated [17].

Surah Name : Al-Araf   Surah Number : 7   Ayat Number: 11

Ayah 20

فَوَسۡوَسَ لَهُمَا ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ لِيُبۡدِيَ لَهُمَا مَا وُۥرِيَ عَنۡهُمَا مِن سَوۡءَٰتِهِمَا وَقَالَ مَا نَهَىٰكُمَا رَبُّكُمَا عَنۡ هَٰذِهِ ٱلشَّجَرَةِ إِلَّآ أَن تَكُونَا مَلَكَيۡنِ أَوۡ تَكُونَا مِنَ ٱلۡخَٰلِدِينَ

20. Then the devil whispered to them, to make apparent to them their shame [34], which was concealed from them, and he said, "Your Lord has not forbidden you from this tree except that you become two angels or become of the immortal ones" [35].

Surah Name : Al-Araf   Surah Number : 7   Ayat Number: 20

Ayah 27

فَكَيۡفَ إِذَا تَوَفَّتۡهُمُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ يَضۡرِبُونَ وُجُوهَهُمۡ وَأَدۡبَٰرَهُمۡ

27. How then shall it be when the angels will cause them to die, beating[69] their faces and their backs?

Surah Name : Muhammad   Surah Number : 47   Ayat Number: 27

Ayah 2

يُنَزِّلُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ بِٱلرُّوحِ مِنۡ أَمۡرِهِۦ عَلَىٰ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِۦٓ أَنۡ أَنذِرُوٓاْ أَنَّهُۥ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنَا۠ فَٱتَّقُونِ

2. He sends down the angels with the spirit [3] from His Command upon whomsoever of His bondsmen He pleases [4], "Warn that there is no deity except Me, so fear Me."

Surah Name : An-Nahl   Surah Number : 16   Ayat Number: 2

Ayah 28

ٱلَّذِينَ تَتَوَفَّىٰهُمُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ ظَالِمِيٓ أَنفُسِهِمۡۖ فَأَلۡقَوُاْ ٱلسَّلَمَ مَا كُنَّا نَعۡمَلُ مِن سُوٓءِۭۚ بَلَىٰٓۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمُۢ بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ

28. Those whose lives are taken by the angels [55] while they were wronging [56] themselves, will then offer submission, saying, "We were not doing any evil" [57]. Yes, indeed. Allah is All-Knowing of what you used to do [58].
