Ayah 55

وَعَدَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مِنكُمۡ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ لَيَسۡتَخۡلِفَنَّهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ كَمَا ٱسۡتَخۡلَفَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ وَلَيُمَكِّنَنَّ لَهُمۡ دِينَهُمُ ٱلَّذِي ٱرۡتَضَىٰ لَهُمۡ وَلَيُبَدِّلَنَّهُم مِّنۢ بَعۡدِ خَوۡفِهِمۡ أَمۡنٗاۚ يَعۡبُدُونَنِي لَا يُشۡرِكُونَ بِي شَيۡـٔٗاۚ وَمَن كَفَرَ بَعۡدَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡفَٰسِقُونَ

55. Allah has promised those among you who believed and performed good deeds [144] that He will surely grant them succession [145] in the land, as He granted it to those before them [146]. He will establish for them their religion which He has chosen for them, and will change their fear to security [147]. They worship Me and do not associate anything with Me. But whoever disbelieves after this, those are the defiantly disobedient [148].

Surah Name : An-Nur   Surah Number : 24   Ayat Number: 55

Ayah 57

لَا تَحۡسَبَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مُعۡجِزِينَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَمَأۡوَىٰهُمُ ٱلنَّارُۖ وَلَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ

57. Never think that the disbelievers may escape from Our control on the earth [150]. Their refuge is the Fire, and how wretched the destination!

Surah Name : An-Nur   Surah Number : 24   Ayat Number: 57

Ayah 10

وَلَقَدۡ مَكَّنَّـٰكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَجَعَلۡنَا لَكُمۡ فِيهَا مَعَٰيِشَۗ قَلِيلٗا مَّا تَشۡكُرُونَ

10. And indeed, We established you in the earth [13] and made therein for you livelihoods [14]. But, you are seldom thankful.

Ayah 24

قَالَ ٱهۡبِطُواْ بَعۡضُكُمۡ لِبَعۡضٍ عَدُوّٞۖ وَلَكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مُسۡتَقَرّٞ وَمَتَٰعٌ إِلَىٰ حِينٖ

24. He (Allah) said, "Get down; some of you are enemies to others. And for you, there is a dwelling place on earth and provision for a time" [44].

Ayah 54

إِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٖ ثُمَّ ٱسۡتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلۡعَرۡشِۖ يُغۡشِي ٱلَّيۡلَ ٱلنَّهَارَ يَطۡلُبُهُۥ حَثِيثٗا وَٱلشَّمۡسَ وَٱلۡقَمَرَ وَٱلنُّجُومَ مُسَخَّرَٰتِۭ بِأَمۡرِهِۦٓۗ أَلَا لَهُ ٱلۡخَلۡقُ وَٱلۡأَمۡرُۗ تَبَارَكَ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

54. Indeed, your Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in six days [131]. Then He established Himself on the Throne [132]. He covers the night with the day, seeking it rapidly [133]. And He has made the sun, the moon, and the stars subservient by His command. Indeed, His is the creation and the command [134]. Blessed is Allah, the Lord of the worlds [135].

Surah Name : Al-Araf   Surah Number : 7   Ayat Number: 54

Ayah 56

وَلَا تُفۡسِدُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ بَعۡدَ إِصۡلَٰحِهَا وَٱدۡعُوهُ خَوۡفٗا وَطَمَعًاۚ إِنَّ رَحۡمَتَ ٱللَّهِ قَرِيبٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ

56. And do not cause corruption on the earth [139] after it has been set right [140]. And call upon Him in fear and aspiration [141]. Surely, the Mercy of Allah is near to the good-doers [142].

Surah Name : Al-Araf   Surah Number : 7   Ayat Number: 56

Ayah 73

وَإِلَىٰ ثَمُودَ أَخَاهُمۡ صَٰلِحٗاۚ قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنۡ إِلَٰهٍ غَيۡرُهُۥۖ قَدۡ جَآءَتۡكُم بَيِّنَةٞ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡۖ هَٰذِهِۦ نَاقَةُ ٱللَّهِ لَكُمۡ ءَايَةٗۖ فَذَرُوهَا تَأۡكُلۡ فِيٓ أَرۡضِ ٱللَّهِۖ وَلَا تَمَسُّوهَا بِسُوٓءٖ فَيَأۡخُذَكُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ

73. And to the Thamud, We sent Saleh from their brethren. He said: "O my people! Worship Allah, you have no god other than Him. Indeed, there has come to you bright proof from your Lord. This is a she-camel of Allah, a sign for you. So leave her that she may graze on Allah's earth, and touch her not with evil, lest a painful punishment overtakes you."

Surah Name : Al-Araf   Surah Number : 7   Ayat Number: 73

Ayah 74

وَٱذۡكُرُوٓاْ إِذۡ جَعَلَكُمۡ خُلَفَآءَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ عَادٖ وَبَوَّأَكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ تَتَّخِذُونَ مِن سُهُولِهَا قُصُورٗا وَتَنۡحِتُونَ ٱلۡجِبَالَ بُيُوتٗاۖ فَٱذۡكُرُوٓاْ ءَالَآءَ ٱللَّهِ وَلَا تَعۡثَوۡاْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مُفۡسِدِينَ

74. And remember when He made you successors of Aad and assigned you a place in the land that you build palaces [182] on its plains, and hack out houses in its mountains[183]. Then remember the bounties of Allah and wander not on the earth spreading mischief [184].

Surah Name : Al-Araf   Surah Number : 7   Ayat Number: 74

Ayah 78

فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ ٱلرَّجۡفَةُ فَأَصۡبَحُواْ فِي دَارِهِمۡ جَٰثِمِينَ

78. Then the earthquake [191] overtook them, and they lay prostrate in their homes, in the morning.

Ayah 85

وَإِلَىٰ مَدۡيَنَ أَخَاهُمۡ شُعَيۡبٗاۚ قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنۡ إِلَٰهٍ غَيۡرُهُۥۖ قَدۡ جَآءَتۡكُم بَيِّنَةٞ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡۖ فَأَوۡفُواْ ٱلۡكَيۡلَ وَٱلۡمِيزَانَ وَلَا تَبۡخَسُواْ ٱلنَّاسَ أَشۡيَآءَهُمۡ وَلَا تُفۡسِدُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ بَعۡدَ إِصۡلَٰحِهَاۚ ذَٰلِكُمۡ خَيۡرٞ لَّكُمۡ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَ

85. And to Madyan We sent Shu'ayb from their brethren [203]. He said: "O my people! Worship Allah, for there is no god for you other than Him. Indeed, there have come to you bright proofs from your Lord. Then give full measures [204] and full weights properly, and do not give the people their things in reduction [205]. And do not spread mischief on the earth after setting its fair management. This is good for you if you believe [206]."

Surah Name : Al-Araf   Surah Number : 7   Ayat Number: 85

Ayah 91

فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ ٱلرَّجۡفَةُ فَأَصۡبَحُواْ فِي دَارِهِمۡ جَٰثِمِينَ

91. Then the earthquake overtook them. So, in the morning they fell prostrate in their homes [221].

Ayah 96

وَلَوۡ أَنَّ أَهۡلَ ٱلۡقُرَىٰٓ ءَامَنُواْ وَٱتَّقَوۡاْ لَفَتَحۡنَا عَلَيۡهِم بَرَكَٰتٖ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَٰكِن كَذَّبُواْ فَأَخَذۡنَٰهُم بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ

96. And if the people of the towns had believed and feared Allah, We would have certainly opened for them blessings [229] from the sky and the earth. But they denied the truth, so We seized them for what they used to earn [230].

Surah Name : Al-Araf   Surah Number : 7   Ayat Number: 96

Ayah 128

قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوۡمِهِ ٱسۡتَعِينُواْ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱصۡبِرُوٓاْۖ إِنَّ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ لِلَّهِ يُورِثُهَا مَن يَشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِۦۖ وَٱلۡعَٰقِبَةُ لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ

128. Musa said to his people: "Seek help from Allah and be patient [267]. Surely, the earth belongs to Allah. He grants it as an inheritance to whomsoever He wills from His servants. And the final outcome is for the pious [268]."

Surah Name : Al-Araf   Surah Number : 7   Ayat Number: 128

Ayah 146

سَأَصۡرِفُ عَنۡ ءَايَٰتِيَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَتَكَبَّرُونَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ بِغَيۡرِ ٱلۡحَقِّ وَإِن يَرَوۡاْ كُلَّ ءَايَةٖ لَّا يُؤۡمِنُواْ بِهَا وَإِن يَرَوۡاْ سَبِيلَ ٱلرُّشۡدِ لَا يَتَّخِذُوهُ سَبِيلٗا وَإِن يَرَوۡاْ سَبِيلَ ٱلۡغَيِّ يَتَّخِذُوهُ سَبِيلٗاۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَكَانُواْ عَنۡهَا غَٰفِلِينَ

146. And I shall soon take away My Signs from those who become arrogant on the earth, unjustly [317]. And even if they see all the signs, they will not believe therein, and if they see the path of guidance, they will not like to walk [318] in it. And if they see the path of error, they will be ready to adopt it. This is so because they believed Our Signs and posed themselves as those who were unaware [319].

Surah Name : Al-Araf   Surah Number : 7   Ayat Number: 146

Ayah 155

وَٱخۡتَارَ مُوسَىٰ قَوۡمَهُۥ سَبۡعِينَ رَجُلٗا لِّمِيقَٰتِنَاۖ فَلَمَّآ أَخَذَتۡهُمُ ٱلرَّجۡفَةُ قَالَ رَبِّ لَوۡ شِئۡتَ أَهۡلَكۡتَهُم مِّن قَبۡلُ وَإِيَّـٰيَۖ أَتُهۡلِكُنَا بِمَا فَعَلَ ٱلسُّفَهَآءُ مِنَّآۖ إِنۡ هِيَ إِلَّا فِتۡنَتُكَ تُضِلُّ بِهَا مَن تَشَآءُ وَتَهۡدِي مَن تَشَآءُۖ أَنتَ وَلِيُّنَا فَٱغۡفِرۡ لَنَا وَٱرۡحَمۡنَاۖ وَأَنتَ خَيۡرُ ٱلۡغَٰفِرِينَ

155.And Musa chose seventy men of his people for Our promised appointment [337]. Then when an earthquake overtook [338] them, Musa submitted: "O my Lord! Had You wished, You would have destroyed them and me before [339]. Will You kill us for what our foolish ones have done? That is nothing but Your test [341], whereby You cause those to go astray whom You will, and guide whom You will [342]. You are our Protector. So forgive us and have mercy upon us. And You are the Best of Forgivers."

Surah Name : Al-Araf   Surah Number : 7   Ayat Number: 155

Ayah 158

قُلۡ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِنِّي رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ إِلَيۡكُمۡ جَمِيعًا ٱلَّذِي لَهُۥ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ يُحۡيِۦ وَيُمِيتُۖ فَـَٔامِنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ ٱلنَّبِيِّ ٱلۡأُمِّيِّ ٱلَّذِي يُؤۡمِنُ بِٱللَّهِ وَكَلِمَٰتِهِۦ وَٱتَّبِعُوهُ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَهۡتَدُونَ

158. Say [356]: "O mankind! I am a Messenger to all of you from Allah, to Whom [357] belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth [358]. None is worthy of worship except Him. He gives life and causes death. So, believe in Allah and His Messenger, the unlettered [359] communicator of hidden news, who believes [360] in Allah and His Words. And follow him so that you may be guided."

Surah Name : Al-Araf   Surah Number : 7   Ayat Number: 158

Ayah 168

وَقَطَّعۡنَٰهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ أُمَمٗاۖ مِّنۡهُمُ ٱلصَّـٰلِحُونَ وَمِنۡهُمۡ دُونَ ذَٰلِكَۖ وَبَلَوۡنَٰهُم بِٱلۡحَسَنَٰتِ وَٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَرۡجِعُونَ

168.And We scattered them throughout the earth into communities [383]. Among them are the righteous, and among them are others [384]. We tested them with good things and with evil so that perhaps they might return [385].

Surah Name : Al-Araf   Surah Number : 7   Ayat Number: 168

Ayah 176

وَلَوۡ شِئۡنَا لَرَفَعۡنَٰهُ بِهَا وَلَٰكِنَّهُۥٓ أَخۡلَدَ إِلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَٱتَّبَعَ هَوَىٰهُۚ فَمَثَلُهُۥ كَمَثَلِ ٱلۡكَلۡبِ إِن تَحۡمِلۡ عَلَيۡهِ يَلۡهَثۡ أَوۡ تَتۡرُكۡهُ يَلۡهَثۚ ذَّـٰلِكَ مَثَلُ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَاۚ فَٱقۡصُصِ ٱلۡقَصَصَ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ

176.And if We had willed, We would have exalted him by those signs [405], but he clung to the earth and followed his desires [406]. So his example is like that of a dog: if you chase it, it pants, and if you leave it, it still pants [407]. That is the example of the people who denied Our signs. So relate the stories to them so that they may reflect [408].

Surah Name : Al-Araf   Surah Number : 7   Ayat Number: 176

Ayah 185

أَوَلَمۡ يَنظُرُواْ فِي مَلَكُوتِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ مِن شَيۡءٖ وَأَنۡ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونَ قَدِ ٱقۡتَرَبَ أَجَلُهُمۡۖ فَبِأَيِّ حَدِيثِۭ بَعۡدَهُۥ يُؤۡمِنُونَ

185. Why do they not look into the kingdom of the heavens and the earth [419] and whatever things Allah has made [420], that perhaps their term may have drawn near [421]. Then in what discourse will they believe thereafter [422]?

Surah Name : Al-Araf   Surah Number : 7   Ayat Number: 185

Ayah 187

يَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلسَّاعَةِ أَيَّانَ مُرۡسَىٰهَاۖ قُلۡ إِنَّمَا عِلۡمُهَا عِندَ رَبِّيۖ لَا يُجَلِّيهَا لِوَقۡتِهَآ إِلَّا هُوَۚ ثَقُلَتۡ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ لَا تَأۡتِيكُمۡ إِلَّا بَغۡتَةٗۗ يَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ كَأَنَّكَ حَفِيٌّ عَنۡهَاۖ قُلۡ إِنَّمَا عِلۡمُهَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ

187.They ask you concerning the Hour, when it shall come [425]. Say: "The knowledge of it is only with My Lord [426]. He alone will disclose it at the proper time [427]. It is lying heavy on the heavens and the earth [428]. It shall not come upon you but of a sudden [429]. They ask you as if you have already investigated it. Say: "Its knowledge is only with Allah [431]. But most people do not know" [432].
