Ayah 248

وَقَالَ لَهُمۡ نَبِيُّهُمۡ إِنَّ ءَايَةَ مُلۡكِهِۦٓ أَن يَأۡتِيَكُمُ ٱلتَّابُوتُ فِيهِ سَكِينَةٞ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡ وَبَقِيَّةٞ مِّمَّا تَرَكَ ءَالُ مُوسَىٰ وَءَالُ هَٰرُونَ تَحۡمِلُهُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗ لَّكُمۡ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَ

248. And the Prophet said to them: "Surely, the sign of his kingship is that there would come to you an Ark (of the Covenant) [621] in which there is tranquillity of your heart from your Lord, and the good legacy left by the family of Musa and the family of Harun [622], carried by the angels. Surely, in that is a sign for you if you believe [623]."

Surah Name : Al-Baqarah   Surah Number : 2   Ayat Number: 248

Ayah 260

وَإِذۡ قَالَ إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمُ رَبِّ أَرِنِي كَيۡفَ تُحۡيِ ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰۖ قَالَ أَوَلَمۡ تُؤۡمِنۖ قَالَ بَلَىٰ وَلَٰكِن لِّيَطۡمَئِنَّ قَلۡبِيۖ قَالَ فَخُذۡ أَرۡبَعَةٗ مِّنَ ٱلطَّيۡرِ فَصُرۡهُنَّ إِلَيۡكَ ثُمَّ ٱجۡعَلۡ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ جَبَلٖ مِّنۡهُنَّ جُزۡءٗا ثُمَّ ٱدۡعُهُنَّ يَأۡتِينَكَ سَعۡيٗاۚ وَٱعۡلَمۡ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٞ

260.And when Ebrahim [677] said: "O my Lord! Show me how You give life to the dead." He (Allah) said: "Do you not believe so?" He said: "Yes, but I like that my heart may be satisfied" [678]. He said: "Take four birds and make them familiar [679] to you. Then put a part of each of them (their flesh) on every hilltop. Thereafter call them [680]. They will come to you in haste [681]. And know that Allah is All-Powerful, All-Wise [682]."

Surah Name : Al-Baqarah   Surah Number : 2   Ayat Number: 260

Ayah 265

وَمَثَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمۡوَٰلَهُمُ ٱبۡتِغَآءَ مَرۡضَاتِ ٱللَّهِ وَتَثۡبِيتٗا مِّنۡ أَنفُسِهِمۡ كَمَثَلِ جَنَّةِۭ بِرَبۡوَةٍ أَصَابَهَا وَابِلٞ فَـَٔاتَتۡ أُكُلَهَا ضِعۡفَيۡنِ فَإِن لَّمۡ يُصِبۡهَا وَابِلٞ فَطَلّٞۗ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ

265. And the example of those who spend their wealth to seek the pleasure of Allah [697] and to strengthen their hearts is like a garden on elevated [698] ground. Heavy rain fell upon it, and it yielded double the fruit. And if heavy rain does not fall on it, then dew suffices [699]. And Allah observes what you do [700].

Surah Name : Al-Baqarah   Surah Number : 2   Ayat Number: 265

Ayah 283

۞وَإِن كُنتُمۡ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٖ وَلَمۡ تَجِدُواْ كَاتِبٗا فَرِهَٰنٞ مَّقۡبُوضَةٞۖ فَإِنۡ أَمِنَ بَعۡضُكُم بَعۡضٗا فَلۡيُؤَدِّ ٱلَّذِي ٱؤۡتُمِنَ أَمَٰنَتَهُۥ وَلۡيَتَّقِ ٱللَّهَ رَبَّهُۥۗ وَلَا تَكۡتُمُواْ ٱلشَّهَٰدَةَۚ وَمَن يَكۡتُمۡهَا فَإِنَّهُۥٓ ءَاثِمٞ قَلۡبُهُۥۗ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ عَلِيمٞ

283. And if you are on a journey and cannot find a scribe, let there be a pledge [763] with possession. And if [764] one of you entrusts [765] the other, then let him who is entrusted discharge his trust (faithfully) and let him fear Allah, his Lord, and conceal not the testimony. And whosoever conceals [766] it, his heart is indeed sinful [767]. Indeed, Allah is All-Knowing of what you do.

Surah Name : Al-Baqarah   Surah Number : 2   Ayat Number: 283

Ayah 284

لِّلَّهِ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۗ وَإِن تُبۡدُواْ مَا فِيٓ أَنفُسِكُمۡ أَوۡ تُخۡفُوهُ يُحَاسِبۡكُم بِهِ ٱللَّهُۖ فَيَغۡفِرُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيُعَذِّبُ مَن يَشَآءُۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٌ

284. To Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth [768]. Whatever you show what is within your hearts or conceal it [769], Allah will bring you to account for it. Then, He will forgive whom He pleases and punish [770] whom He pleases. Verily, Allah has power over everything.

Surah Name : Al-Baqarah   Surah Number : 2   Ayat Number: 284

Ayah 13

وَأَسِرُّواْ قَوۡلَكُمۡ أَوِ ٱجۡهَرُواْ بِهِۦٓۖ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِيمُۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ

13.And whether you hide your speech or declare it openly, surely, He knows what is in the hearts [29].

Ayah 23

قُلۡ هُوَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنشَأَكُمۡ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرَ وَٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةَۚ قَلِيلٗا مَّا تَشۡكُرُونَ

23. Say, "It is He Who created you and made for you the ears, the eyes, and the hearts [47]. Little is it that you give thanks [48]."

Surah Name : Al-Mulk   Surah Number : 67   Ayat Number: 23

Ayah 14

وَرَبَطۡنَا عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمۡ إِذۡ قَامُواْ فَقَالُواْ رَبُّنَا رَبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ لَن نَّدۡعُوَاْ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ إِلَٰهٗاۖ لَّقَدۡ قُلۡنَآ إِذٗا شَطَطًا

14. We strengthened their hearts [19] when they stood up and said, "Our Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth. We will not invoke any deity [20] besides Him. If we did so, we would have certainly spoken an excessive [21] thing."

Surah Name : Al-Kahf   Surah Number : 18   Ayat Number: 14

Ayah 28

وَٱصۡبِرۡ نَفۡسَكَ مَعَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَدۡعُونَ رَبَّهُم بِٱلۡغَدَوٰةِ وَٱلۡعَشِيِّ يُرِيدُونَ وَجۡهَهُۥۖ وَلَا تَعۡدُ عَيۡنَاكَ عَنۡهُمۡ تُرِيدُ زِينَةَ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَاۖ وَلَا تُطِعۡ مَنۡ أَغۡفَلۡنَا قَلۡبَهُۥ عَن ذِكۡرِنَا وَٱتَّبَعَ هَوَىٰهُ وَكَانَ أَمۡرُهُۥ فُرُطٗا

28. And keep yourself patient with those who call upon their Lord morning and evening, seeking His pleasure. [64] And do not let your eyes overlook them, desiring the adornment of the worldly life. [65] And do not obey him whose heart We have made neglectful of Our remembrance, who follows his own desire, [66] and whose affair has exceeded the limits.

Surah Name : Al-Kahf   Surah Number : 18   Ayat Number: 28

Ayah 57

وَمَنۡ أَظۡلَمُ مِمَّن ذُكِّرَ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِۦ فَأَعۡرَضَ عَنۡهَا وَنَسِيَ مَا قَدَّمَتۡ يَدَاهُۚ إِنَّا جَعَلۡنَا عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمۡ أَكِنَّةً أَن يَفۡقَهُوهُ وَفِيٓ ءَاذَانِهِمۡ وَقۡرٗاۖ وَإِن تَدۡعُهُمۡ إِلَى ٱلۡهُدَىٰ فَلَن يَهۡتَدُوٓاْ إِذًا أَبَدٗا

57. And who is more unjust than the one who, when reminded of his Lord’s signs, turns away and forgets what his hands have sent forward [135]? We have placed coverings [136] over their hearts, so they do not understand the Quran, and in their ears is deafness [137]. And if you call them to guidance, they will never be guided [138].

Surah Name : Al-Kahf   Surah Number : 18   Ayat Number: 57

Ayah 3

لَاهِيَةٗ قُلُوبُهُمۡۗ وَأَسَرُّواْ ٱلنَّجۡوَى ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ هَلۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا بَشَرٞ مِّثۡلُكُمۡۖ أَفَتَأۡتُونَ ٱلسِّحۡرَ وَأَنتُمۡ تُبۡصِرُونَ

3. Their hearts have fallen into sport [5]. And the unjust counselled amongst themselves secretly [6]: "Who is this? Is he only a man like you (6)? Do you go to magic while you are seeing (7)?

Surah Name : Al-Anbiya   Surah Number : 21   Ayat Number: 3

Ayah 10

وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يَقُولُ ءَامَنَّا بِٱللَّهِ فَإِذَآ أُوذِيَ فِي ٱللَّهِ جَعَلَ فِتۡنَةَ ٱلنَّاسِ كَعَذَابِ ٱللَّهِۖ وَلَئِن جَآءَ نَصۡرٞ مِّن رَّبِّكَ لَيَقُولُنَّ إِنَّا كُنَّا مَعَكُمۡۚ أَوَلَيۡسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَعۡلَمَ بِمَا فِي صُدُورِ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

10. And among the people are those who say, "We have believed in Allah," but when they are harmed for Allah's sake, they consider the people's persecution as if it were Allah's punishment [19]. And if victory comes from your Lord [20], they will surely say, "Indeed, we were with you" [21]. Does Allah not know best what is in the hearts of all the worlds? [22]

Surah Name : Al-Ankabut   Surah Number : 29   Ayat Number: 10

Ayah 33

وَلَمَّآ أَن جَآءَتۡ رُسُلُنَا لُوطٗا سِيٓءَ بِهِمۡ وَضَاقَ بِهِمۡ ذَرۡعٗاۖ وَقَالُواْ لَا تَخَفۡ وَلَا تَحۡزَنۡ إِنَّا مُنَجُّوكَ وَأَهۡلَكَ إِلَّا ٱمۡرَأَتَكَ كَانَتۡ مِنَ ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَ

33. And when Our angels [79] came to Lut, he felt uncomfortable with them and his heart was distressed [80]. They said, “Fear not and do not grieve, indeed, we shall deliver you [81] and your family [82], except your wife, she is among those who remain behind [83].”.

Surah Name : Al-Ankabut   Surah Number : 29   Ayat Number: 33

Ayah 60

وَٱلَّذِينَ يُؤۡتُونَ مَآ ءَاتَواْ وَّقُلُوبُهُمۡ وَجِلَةٌ أَنَّهُمۡ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمۡ رَٰجِعُونَ

60. And those who give what they give and their hearts are trembling [91] because they are to return [92] to their Lord.

Surah Name : Al-Muminun   Surah Number : 23   Ayat Number: 60

Ayah 63

بَلۡ قُلُوبُهُمۡ فِي غَمۡرَةٖ مِّنۡ هَٰذَا وَلَهُمۡ أَعۡمَٰلٞ مِّن دُونِ ذَٰلِكَ هُمۡ لَهَا عَٰمِلُونَ

63. Nay, but their hearts are heedless [96] of it, and their deeds are separate[97] from those works that they are doing.

Surah Name : Al-Muminun   Surah Number : 23   Ayat Number: 63

Ayah 78

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنشَأَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرَ وَٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةَۚ قَلِيلٗا مَّا تَشۡكُرُونَ

78. And it is He who made for you ears and eyes and a heart [113]. Very little you are grateful [114].

Surah Name : Al-Muminun   Surah Number : 23   Ayat Number: 78

Ayah 18

وَجَآءُو عَلَىٰ قَمِيصِهِۦ بِدَمٖ كَذِبٖۚ قَالَ بَلۡ سَوَّلَتۡ لَكُمۡ أَنفُسُكُمۡ أَمۡرٗاۖ فَصَبۡرٞ جَمِيلٞۖ وَٱللَّهُ ٱلۡمُسۡتَعَانُ عَلَىٰ مَا تَصِفُونَ

18. And they brought his shirt stained with false blood[31]. He said, "Your souls have made something seem fair to you[32]. Patience is most fitting, and Allah is the only source of help against what you describe."

Ayah 30

۞وَقَالَ نِسۡوَةٞ فِي ٱلۡمَدِينَةِ ٱمۡرَأَتُ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ تُرَٰوِدُ فَتَىٰهَا عَن نَّفۡسِهِۦۖ قَدۡ شَغَفَهَا حُبًّاۖ إِنَّا لَنَرَىٰهَا فِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٖ

30. And women in the city said, "The wife of the Aziz is enticing her servant to herself. Indeed, she is deeply in love with him. We see her in clear error[64]."

Surah Name : Yusuf   Surah Number : 12   Ayat Number: 30

Ayah 32

قَالَتۡ فَذَٰلِكُنَّ ٱلَّذِي لُمۡتُنَّنِي فِيهِۖ وَلَقَدۡ رَٰوَدتُّهُۥ عَن نَّفۡسِهِۦ فَٱسۡتَعۡصَمَۖ وَلَئِن لَّمۡ يَفۡعَلۡ مَآ ءَامُرُهُۥ لَيُسۡجَنَنَّ وَلَيَكُونٗا مِّنَ ٱلصَّـٰغِرِينَ

32. Zuleikha said, "This is the one you reproached me about. I certainly sought to seduce him, but he remained steadfast. If he does not do what I command him, he will surely be imprisoned and will be among the humiliated."

Surah Name : Yusuf   Surah Number : 12   Ayat Number: 32

Ayah 51

قَالَ مَا خَطۡبُكُنَّ إِذۡ رَٰوَدتُّنَّ يُوسُفَ عَن نَّفۡسِهِۦۚ قُلۡنَ حَٰشَ لِلَّهِ مَا عَلِمۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ مِن سُوٓءٖۚ قَالَتِ ٱمۡرَأَتُ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡـَٰٔنَ حَصۡحَصَ ٱلۡحَقُّ أَنَا۠ رَٰوَدتُّهُۥ عَن نَّفۡسِهِۦ وَإِنَّهُۥ لَمِنَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ

51. The king said, "O women, what was your intention when you sought to seduce [Joseph] [112]? They said, 'Holy is Allah, we did not find any evil [113] in him.' The wife of the Aziz said, 'Now the truth has been made clear [114]. I sought to seduce him [115], and indeed, he is truthful [116].'"
