Ayah 38

يَوۡمَ يَقُومُ ٱلرُّوحُ وَٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ صَفّٗاۖ لَّا يَتَكَلَّمُونَ إِلَّا مَنۡ أَذِنَ لَهُ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ وَقَالَ صَوَابٗا

38. On that day when the Spirit (Jibraeel) and all angels will stand in rows [22], who will not be able to speak, except one whom the Most Affectionate permits, and who will speak only what is right [23].

Ayah 33

مَّنۡ خَشِيَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنَ بِٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَجَآءَ بِقَلۡبٖ مُّنِيبٍ

33. Who fears the Most Affectionate without seeing [56] and comes to Him with a repenting heart [57].

Ayah 2

تَنزِيلٞ مِّنَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

2. This is a revelation from the Most Affectionate, the most Merciful [2].

Ayah 17

وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ أَحَدُهُم بِمَا ضَرَبَ لِلرَّحۡمَٰنِ مَثَلٗا ظَلَّ وَجۡهُهُۥ مُسۡوَدّٗا وَهُوَ كَظِيمٌ

17. And yet, when any of them is given the news that whosoever ascribes the comparison of the Most Affectionate, his face remains darkened and he is inwardly choked [26] with grief.

Ayah 19

19. And they describe the angels who are devotees of the Most Affectionate as females [29]. Were they present at the time of their creation [30]? Now, their evidence shall be recorded (31) and they shall be questioned.

Ayah 20

وَقَالُواْ لَوۡ شَآءَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ مَا عَبَدۡنَٰهُمۗ مَّا لَهُم بِذَٰلِكَ مِنۡ عِلۡمٍۖ إِنۡ هُمۡ إِلَّا يَخۡرُصُونَ

20. And they say: "Had the Most Affectionate Allah so Willed, we should not have worshipped [32] them (idols). "They knew nothing about its reality, as they are only telling lies (33).

Ayah 33

وَلَوۡلَآ أَن يَكُونَ ٱلنَّاسُ أُمَّةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗ لَّجَعَلۡنَا لِمَن يَكۡفُرُ بِٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ لِبُيُوتِهِمۡ سُقُفٗا مِّن فِضَّةٖ وَمَعَارِجَ عَلَيۡهَا يَظۡهَرُونَ

33. And if it was not so that all mankind was one [55]community, We would have surely made for those who disbelieve in the Most Affectionate, roofs of silver for their homes and stairs whereon they go up [56].

Ayah 36

وَمَن يَعۡشُ عَن ذِكۡرِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ نُقَيِّضۡ لَهُۥ شَيۡطَٰنٗا فَهُوَ لَهُۥ قَرِينٞ

36. And he who turns away from the Remembrance [61] of the most Affectionate, We assign to him a devil, and he becomes his companion [62].

Ayah 45

وَسۡـَٔلۡ مَنۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِكَ مِن رُّسُلِنَآ أَجَعَلۡنَا مِن دُونِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ءَالِهَةٗ يُعۡبَدُونَ

45. And ask [78] those of Our Messengers whom We sent [79] before: Did We appoint (80) some other Gods besides the Most Affectionate to be worshipped?"

Ayah 81

قُلۡ إِن كَانَ لِلرَّحۡمَٰنِ وَلَدٞ فَأَنَا۠ أَوَّلُ ٱلۡعَٰبِدِينَ

81. Please declare: "If there had been a son of the Most Affectionate, I would have worshipped [141] him first".
