Ayah 191

ٱلَّذِينَ يَذۡكُرُونَ ٱللَّهَ قِيَٰمٗا وَقُعُودٗا وَعَلَىٰ جُنُوبِهِمۡ وَيَتَفَكَّرُونَ فِي خَلۡقِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقۡتَ هَٰذَا بَٰطِلٗا سُبۡحَٰنَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ

191. These are the people who remember [435] Allah standing and sitting and lying on their sides [436], and contemplate the creation of the heavens and the earth (saying): "O our Lord! You have not created this without purpose. Exalted are You; then save us from the punishment of Hell" [437].

Surah Name : Al Imran   Surah Number : 3   Ayat Number: 191

Ayah 63

قَالَ ٱذۡهَبۡ فَمَن تَبِعَكَ مِنۡهُمۡ فَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ جَزَآؤُكُمۡ جَزَآءٗ مَّوۡفُورٗا

63. He said, "Go away [139]. Whoever of them follows you, then indeed Hell will be your recompense, a full recompense [140]."

Ayah 98

ذَٰلِكَ جَزَآؤُهُم بِأَنَّهُمۡ كَفَرُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَقَالُوٓاْ أَءِذَا كُنَّا عِظَٰمٗا وَرُفَٰتًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبۡعُوثُونَ خَلۡقٗا جَدِيدًا

98. This is their punishment because they rejected [203] Our signs and said, 'When we become bones and broken particles, shall we really be resurrected as a new creation?' [204]

Ayah 5

أَلَمۡ يَأۡتِكُمۡ نَبَؤُاْ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن قَبۡلُ فَذَاقُواْ وَبَالَ أَمۡرِهِمۡ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ

5. Has there not come to you the news [9] of those who disbelieved [10] before? Then they tasted the evil result of their conduct, and they had a painful punishment (11).

Ayah 7

وَإِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِ ءَايَٰتُنَا وَلَّىٰ مُسۡتَكۡبِرٗا كَأَن لَّمۡ يَسۡمَعۡهَا كَأَنَّ فِيٓ أُذُنَيۡهِ وَقۡرٗاۖ فَبَشِّرۡهُ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ

7.And when Our Verses are recited to him, he turns proudly away, as though he did not hear them, and as if there was heaviness [10] in his ears. Therefore give the news of a painful punishment.

Surah Name : Luqman   Surah Number : 31   Ayat Number: 7

Ayah 21

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱتَّبِعُواْ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ قَالُواْ بَلۡ نَتَّبِعُ مَا وَجَدۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ ءَابَآءَنَآۚ أَوَلَوۡ كَانَ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ يَدۡعُوهُمۡ إِلَىٰ عَذَابِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ

21.And when it is said to them: "Follow [47] what Allah has revealed". Then they say: "We shall follow that on which we found [48] our fathers". What? Even though the Shaitaan may be inviting them towards the punishment of the burning fire (49).

Surah Name : Luqman   Surah Number : 31   Ayat Number: 21

Ayah 24

نُمَتِّعُهُمۡ قَلِيلٗا ثُمَّ نَضۡطَرُّهُمۡ إِلَىٰ عَذَابٍ غَلِيظٖ

24.We shall allow them to enjoy a little[54], then making them helpless. We shall drive them towards severe punishment [55].

Ayah 13

قُلۡ إِنِّيٓ أَخَافُ إِنۡ عَصَيۡتُ رَبِّي عَذَابَ يَوۡمٍ عَظِيمٖ

13. Please declare: "Certainly I fear to disobey my Lord, for the fear [42] of punishment of the Great Day".

Ayah 19

أَفَمَنۡ حَقَّ عَلَيۡهِ كَلِمَةُ ٱلۡعَذَابِ أَفَأَنتَ تُنقِذُ مَن فِي ٱلنَّارِ

19.Then, is one who has deserved the decree of punishment (fit to be saved)? Can you rescue(53) such a one who is in the fire?

Ayah 23

ٱللَّهُ نَزَّلَ أَحۡسَنَ ٱلۡحَدِيثِ كِتَٰبٗا مُّتَشَٰبِهٗا مَّثَانِيَ تَقۡشَعِرُّ مِنۡهُ جُلُودُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخۡشَوۡنَ رَبَّهُمۡ ثُمَّ تَلِينُ جُلُودُهُمۡ وَقُلُوبُهُمۡ إِلَىٰ ذِكۡرِ ٱللَّهِۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُدَى ٱللَّهِ يَهۡدِي بِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُۚ وَمَن يُضۡلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِنۡ هَادٍ

23.Allah has revealed the best Book that is alike from beginning to the end (in beauty, truth and fairness), having repeated description (65) (promise of reward and award of punishment) at which do shiver (66) the skins of those who fear their Lord. Their skins and hearts soften towards the rememberance of Allah. This is the guidance of Allah. He guides therewith whom He Pleases (67). And he, whom Allah leaves to go on the wrong (68) way, there is none to guide him.

Surah Name : Az-Zumar   Surah Number : 39   Ayat Number: 23

Ayah 24

أَفَمَن يَتَّقِي بِوَجۡهِهِۦ سُوٓءَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِۚ وَقِيلَ لِلظَّـٰلِمِينَ ذُوقُواْ مَا كُنتُمۡ تَكۡسِبُونَ

24.He who will make his face [69] to undergo the great punishment on the Day of Judgement is not equal to him who will be saved. And it will be said to the oppressors: "Taste [70] what you earned".

Ayah 25

كَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ فَأَتَىٰهُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ مِنۡ حَيۡثُ لَا يَشۡعُرُونَ

25.Those who falsified before them, faced punishment whence they knew not "[71].

Surah Name : Az-Zumar   Surah Number : 39   Ayat Number: 25

Ayah 26

فَأَذَاقَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡخِزۡيَ فِي ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَاۖ وَلَعَذَابُ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ أَكۡبَرُۚ لَوۡ كَانُواْ يَعۡلَمُونَ

26. Therefore, Allah made them to taste humiliation "[72] in the life of this world. But the punishment of the Hereafter is the greatest [73]. What a good thing it would bave been if they knew?

Surah Name : Az-Zumar   Surah Number : 39   Ayat Number: 26

Ayah 47

وَلَوۡ أَنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ مَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ جَمِيعٗا وَمِثۡلَهُۥ مَعَهُۥ لَٱفۡتَدَوۡاْ بِهِۦ مِن سُوٓءِ ٱلۡعَذَابِ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِۚ وَبَدَا لَهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَمۡ يَكُونُواْ يَحۡتَسِبُونَ

47. And if those who are the wrongdoers had all that is in the earth [118] and the likes thereof, in addition to it, they would certainly have offered all of it as ransom to get benefit from the severe [119] punishment on the Day of Resurrection. But there will appear to them from Allah that which they never imagine (120).

Surah Name : Az-Zumar   Surah Number : 39   Ayat Number: 47

Ayah 54

وَأَنِيبُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمۡ وَأَسۡلِمُواْ لَهُۥ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن يَأۡتِيَكُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ ثُمَّ لَا تُنصَرُونَ

54. And turn [137] towards your Lord and submit[138] yourselves to Him; before there comes to you the punishment, and then you shall not be helped (139).

Ayah 55

وَٱتَّبِعُوٓاْ أَحۡسَنَ مَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيۡكُم مِّن رَّبِّكُم مِّن قَبۡلِ أَن يَأۡتِيَكُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ بَغۡتَةٗ وَأَنتُمۡ لَا تَشۡعُرُونَ

55. And follow the best, which has been sent [140] to you from your Lord. before the punishment overtakes [141] you suddenly, while you perceive it.

Surah Name : Az-Zumar   Surah Number : 39   Ayat Number: 55

Ayah 58

أَوۡ تَقُولَ حِينَ تَرَى ٱلۡعَذَابَ لَوۡ أَنَّ لِي كَرَّةٗ فَأَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ

58. Or, lest someone should say seeing the punishment: "If I could turn [145] back, I would have been among the benevolent".

Surah Name : Az-Zumar   Surah Number : 39   Ayat Number: 58

Ayah 71

وَسِيقَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ زُمَرًاۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءُوهَا فُتِحَتۡ أَبۡوَٰبُهَا وَقَالَ لَهُمۡ خَزَنَتُهَآ أَلَمۡ يَأۡتِكُمۡ رُسُلٞ مِّنكُمۡ يَتۡلُونَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ ءَايَٰتِ رَبِّكُمۡ وَيُنذِرُونَكُمۡ لِقَآءَ يَوۡمِكُمۡ هَٰذَاۚ قَالُواْ بَلَىٰ وَلَٰكِنۡ حَقَّتۡ كَلِمَةُ ٱلۡعَذَابِ عَلَى ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ

71.And the infidels shall be driven [172] towards Hell in groups [173]. Until when they shall reach it, its gates will be opened (174) and the keeper (175) shall say to them: "Did not Messengers come (176) to you from amongst you, reciting verses of your Lord, and warning (177) you of the meeting of this day of yours?" They will say: "Why not (178)" But the words of punishment would be justified (179) on the infidels.

Surah Name : Az-Zumar   Surah Number : 39   Ayat Number: 71

Ayah 125

فَمَن يُرِدِ ٱللَّهُ أَن يَهۡدِيَهُۥ يَشۡرَحۡ صَدۡرَهُۥ لِلۡإِسۡلَٰمِۖ وَمَن يُرِدۡ أَن يُضِلَّهُۥ يَجۡعَلۡ صَدۡرَهُۥ ضَيِّقًا حَرَجٗا كَأَنَّمَا يَصَّعَّدُ فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يَجۡعَلُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلرِّجۡسَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ

125. And whomsoever Allah wills to guide, He opens his heart for Islam [278], and whomsoever He wills to misguide, He makes his heart tight and constricted, as though he is being forced to ascend into the sky [279]. Thus Allah places impurity upon those who do not believe [280].

Surah Name : Al-Anam   Surah Number : 6   Ayat Number: 125

Ayah 124

وَإِذَا جَآءَتۡهُمۡ ءَايَةٞ قَالُواْ لَن نُّؤۡمِنَ حَتَّىٰ نُؤۡتَىٰ مِثۡلَ مَآ أُوتِيَ رُسُلُ ٱللَّهِۘ ٱللَّهُ أَعۡلَمُ حَيۡثُ يَجۡعَلُ رِسَالَتَهُۥۗ سَيُصِيبُ ٱلَّذِينَ أَجۡرَمُواْ صَغَارٌ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَعَذَابٞ شَدِيدُۢ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَمۡكُرُونَ

124. And when any sign comes to them, they say: "We shall never believe until we are given the like of what the Messengers of Allah have received" [275]. Allah knows well where to place His message [276]. Soon, the wrongdoers will face disgrace before Allah and a severe punishment for their plotting [277].
