Ayah 66

فَلَمَّا جَآءَ أَمۡرُنَا نَجَّيۡنَا صَٰلِحٗا وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مَعَهُۥ بِرَحۡمَةٖ مِّنَّا وَمِنۡ خِزۡيِ يَوۡمِئِذٍۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ ٱلۡقَوِيُّ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ

66. Then when Our Command came, We saved Saleh and those who believed with him by Our mercy [140], and from the humiliation of that day. No doubt, your Lord is the All-Mighty, the All-Powerful.

Ayah 68

كَأَن لَّمۡ يَغۡنَوۡاْ فِيهَآۗ أَلَآ إِنَّ ثَمُودَاْ كَفَرُواْ رَبَّهُمۡۗ أَلَا بُعۡدٗا لِّثَمُودَ

68. As though they had never dwelt therein. No doubt, Thamud denied [142] their Lord. So curse be upon Thamud.

Ayah 76

يَـٰٓإِبۡرَٰهِيمُ أَعۡرِضۡ عَنۡ هَٰذَآۖ إِنَّهُۥ قَدۡ جَآءَ أَمۡرُ رَبِّكَۖ وَإِنَّهُمۡ ءَاتِيهِمۡ عَذَابٌ غَيۡرُ مَرۡدُودٖ

76. O Ibrahim! Turn away from this. No doubt, the Command of your Lord has come. And no doubt, the torment that will approach them cannot be averted [154].

Ayah 81

قَالُواْ يَٰلُوطُ إِنَّا رُسُلُ رَبِّكَ لَن يَصِلُوٓاْ إِلَيۡكَۖ فَأَسۡرِ بِأَهۡلِكَ بِقِطۡعٖ مِّنَ ٱلَّيۡلِ وَلَا يَلۡتَفِتۡ مِنكُمۡ أَحَدٌ إِلَّا ٱمۡرَأَتَكَۖ إِنَّهُۥ مُصِيبُهَا مَآ أَصَابَهُمۡۚ إِنَّ مَوۡعِدَهُمُ ٱلصُّبۡحُۚ أَلَيۡسَ ٱلصُّبۡحُ بِقَرِيبٖ

81. The angels said, "O Lut! We are messengers [162] from your Lord; they cannot reach you. So travel with your family during the night, and let none of you look back [163], except your wife [164]. The same affliction will befall her [165]. Their appointed time is the morning. Is the morning not near? [167]"

Ayah 83

مُّسَوَّمَةً عِندَ رَبِّكَۖ وَمَا هِيَ مِنَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ بِبَعِيدٖ

83. Which are marked by your Lord, and those stones are not far from the unjust people [170].

Ayah 88

قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ أَرَءَيۡتُمۡ إِن كُنتُ عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَةٖ مِّن رَّبِّي وَرَزَقَنِي مِنۡهُ رِزۡقًا حَسَنٗاۚ وَمَآ أُرِيدُ أَنۡ أُخَالِفَكُمۡ إِلَىٰ مَآ أَنۡهَىٰكُمۡ عَنۡهُۚ إِنۡ أُرِيدُ إِلَّا ٱلۡإِصۡلَٰحَ مَا ٱسۡتَطَعۡتُۚ وَمَا تَوۡفِيقِيٓ إِلَّا بِٱللَّهِۚ عَلَيۡهِ تَوَكَّلۡتُ وَإِلَيۡهِ أُنِيبُ

88. He said, "O my people, tell me fairly, if I have clear proof [179] from my Lord and He has given me good provision [180] from Himself. I do not wish to act contrary to what I forbid you from. I only desire to reform as much as I can. My success is only through Allah; I rely upon Him and turn to Him alone [182]."

Ayah 90

وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرُواْ رَبَّكُمۡ ثُمَّ تُوبُوٓاْ إِلَيۡهِۚ إِنَّ رَبِّي رَحِيمٞ وَدُودٞ

90. And beg forgiveness from your Lord, then turn to Him in repentance. No doubt, my Lord is Merciful and Loving [184].

Ayah 92

قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ أَرَهۡطِيٓ أَعَزُّ عَلَيۡكُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَٱتَّخَذۡتُمُوهُ وَرَآءَكُمۡ ظِهۡرِيًّاۖ إِنَّ رَبِّي بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ مُحِيطٞ

92. He said, "O my people! Is my tribe more esteemed by you than Allah? And you have cast Him behind [189] your backs. No doubt, my Lord encompasses whatever you do."

Ayah 101

وَمَا ظَلَمۡنَٰهُمۡ وَلَٰكِن ظَلَمُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمۡۖ فَمَآ أَغۡنَتۡ عَنۡهُمۡ ءَالِهَتُهُمُ ٱلَّتِي يَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مِن شَيۡءٖ لَّمَّا جَآءَ أَمۡرُ رَبِّكَۖ وَمَا زَادُوهُمۡ غَيۡرَ تَتۡبِيبٖ

101. And We did not wrong them, but they wronged themselves. Their deities, which they invoked besides Allah, did not help them at all when the Command of your Lord came, and they only increased them in ruin. [203]

Ayah 102

وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَخۡذُ رَبِّكَ إِذَآ أَخَذَ ٱلۡقُرَىٰ وَهِيَ ظَٰلِمَةٌۚ إِنَّ أَخۡذَهُۥٓ أَلِيمٞ شَدِيدٌ

102. And such is the seizing of your Lord when He seizes the towns while they are unjust [204]. No doubt, His seizing is painful and severe.

Ayah 107

خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا مَا دَامَتِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ وَٱلۡأَرۡضُ إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ رَبُّكَۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ فَعَّالٞ لِّمَا يُرِيدُ

107. They will remain in it as long as the heavens and the earth endure, except as your Lord wills [210]. Indeed, your Lord does whatever He intends.

Ayah 108

۞وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ سُعِدُواْ فَفِي ٱلۡجَنَّةِ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا مَا دَامَتِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ وَٱلۡأَرۡضُ إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ رَبُّكَۖ عَطَآءً غَيۡرَ مَجۡذُوذٖ

108. And those who are blessed [211], they will be in Paradise, abiding therein as long as the heavens and the earth endure, except as your Lord wills. This is an endless reward [212].

Ayah 110

وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَا مُوسَى ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ فَٱخۡتُلِفَ فِيهِۚ وَلَوۡلَا كَلِمَةٞ سَبَقَتۡ مِن رَّبِّكَ لَقُضِيَ بَيۡنَهُمۡۚ وَإِنَّهُمۡ لَفِي شَكّٖ مِّنۡهُ مُرِيبٖ

110. And We certainly gave Musa the Book [215], but they differed about it. If it had not been for a prior word from your Lord, the matter would have been judged between them. And indeed, they are in persistent doubt about it [216].

Ayah 111

وَإِنَّ كُلّٗا لَّمَّا لَيُوَفِّيَنَّهُمۡ رَبُّكَ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡۚ إِنَّهُۥ بِمَا يَعۡمَلُونَ خَبِيرٞ

111. And indeed, your Lord will surely repay each of them in full for their deeds [217]. He is All-Aware of what they do.

Ayah 117

وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ لِيُهۡلِكَ ٱلۡقُرَىٰ بِظُلۡمٖ وَأَهۡلُهَا مُصۡلِحُونَ

117. And your Lord would not destroy the towns unjustly while their people are reformers [228].

Ayah 118

وَلَوۡ شَآءَ رَبُّكَ لَجَعَلَ ٱلنَّاسَ أُمَّةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗۖ وَلَا يَزَالُونَ مُخۡتَلِفِينَ

118. And if your Lord had willed, He would have made mankind one nation, but they will continue to differ [229].

Ayah 119

إِلَّا مَن رَّحِمَ رَبُّكَۚ وَلِذَٰلِكَ خَلَقَهُمۡۗ وَتَمَّتۡ كَلِمَةُ رَبِّكَ لَأَمۡلَأَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنَ ٱلۡجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ أَجۡمَعِينَ

119. Except for those on whom your Lord has mercy; and for this He has created them. And the word of your Lord has been fulfilled: I will surely fill Hell with jinn and mankind together [231].

Ayah 123

وَلِلَّهِ غَيۡبُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَإِلَيۡهِ يُرۡجَعُ ٱلۡأَمۡرُ كُلُّهُۥ فَٱعۡبُدۡهُ وَتَوَكَّلۡ عَلَيۡهِۚ وَمَا رَبُّكَ بِغَٰفِلٍ عَمَّا تَعۡمَلُونَ

123. And to Allah belongs the unseen [236] of the heavens and the earth, and to Him will return the entire matter. So worship Him and place your trust in Him. And your Lord is not unaware of what you do.

Ayah 77

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱرۡكَعُواْ وَٱسۡجُدُواْۤ وَٱعۡبُدُواْ رَبَّكُمۡ وَٱفۡعَلُواْ ٱلۡخَيۡرَ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُفۡلِحُونَ۩

77. O believers! Bow and prostate [155] and worship your Lord, and do good deeds [156] so that you may be relieved.

Ayah 67

لِّكُلِّ أُمَّةٖ جَعَلۡنَا مَنسَكًا هُمۡ نَاسِكُوهُۖ فَلَا يُنَٰزِعُنَّكَ فِي ٱلۡأَمۡرِۚ وَٱدۡعُ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَۖ إِنَّكَ لَعَلَىٰ هُدٗى مُّسۡتَقِيمٖ

67. To every nation We made principles of worship that they should observe [137], so they neglect let not dispute with you in this matter and call them towards your Lord. [138] Indeed, you are on the straight path (139).
