Ayah 10

۞قَالَتۡ رُسُلُهُمۡ أَفِي ٱللَّهِ شَكّٞ فَاطِرِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ يَدۡعُوكُمۡ لِيَغۡفِرَ لَكُم مِّن ذُنُوبِكُمۡ وَيُؤَخِّرَكُمۡ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ مُّسَمّٗىۚ قَالُوٓاْ إِنۡ أَنتُمۡ إِلَّا بَشَرٞ مِّثۡلُنَا تُرِيدُونَ أَن تَصُدُّونَا عَمَّا كَانَ يَعۡبُدُ ءَابَآؤُنَا فَأۡتُونَا بِسُلۡطَٰنٖ مُّبِينٖ

10. Their messengers said, “Is there any doubt about Allah [24], the Creator of the heavens and the earth [25]? He calls you to forgive you some of your sins [26] and to delay you for an appointed term. They said, ‘You are only human beings like us [27]. You want to turn us away from what our forefathers used to worship [28]. So bring us a clear proof [29].”

Surah Name : Ibrahim   Surah Number : 14   Ayat Number: 10

Ayah 11

قَالَتۡ لَهُمۡ رُسُلُهُمۡ إِن نَّحۡنُ إِلَّا بَشَرٞ مِّثۡلُكُمۡ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَمُنُّ عَلَىٰ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِۦۖ وَمَا كَانَ لَنَآ أَن نَّأۡتِيَكُم بِسُلۡطَٰنٍ إِلَّا بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِۚ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلۡيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ

11. Their messengers said to them, “We are indeed human beings like yourselves [30], but Allah bestows His favor [31] upon whomsoever He wills of His servants. And it is not for us to bring you any authority except by the command of Allah. And upon Allah [32] alone should the believers rely [33].”

Surah Name : Ibrahim   Surah Number : 14   Ayat Number: 11

Ayah 13

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لِرُسُلِهِمۡ لَنُخۡرِجَنَّكُم مِّنۡ أَرۡضِنَآ أَوۡ لَتَعُودُنَّ فِي مِلَّتِنَاۖ فَأَوۡحَىٰٓ إِلَيۡهِمۡ رَبُّهُمۡ لَنُهۡلِكَنَّ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

13. And those who disbelieved said to their messengers, “We will certainly drive you out of our land, or you will return [35] to our religion.” Then their Lord revealed to them, “We will surely destroy the wrongdoers.”

Surah Name : Ibrahim   Surah Number : 14   Ayat Number: 13

Ayah 44

وَأَنذِرِ ٱلنَّاسَ يَوۡمَ يَأۡتِيهِمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ فَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ رَبَّنَآ أَخِّرۡنَآ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ قَرِيبٖ نُّجِبۡ دَعۡوَتَكَ وَنَتَّبِعِ ٱلرُّسُلَۗ أَوَلَمۡ تَكُونُوٓاْ أَقۡسَمۡتُم مِّن قَبۡلُ مَا لَكُم مِّن زَوَالٖ

44. And warn mankind of the Day [97] when the punishment will come upon them. Then the wrongdoers will say [98], 'Our Lord, delay us for a short term so that we may respond to Your call and follow the messengers.' Did you not swear previously that you would never move away [100]?

Surah Name : Ibrahim   Surah Number : 14   Ayat Number: 44

Ayah 47

فَلَا تَحۡسَبَنَّ ٱللَّهَ مُخۡلِفَ وَعۡدِهِۦ رُسُلَهُۥٓۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٞ ذُو ٱنتِقَامٖ

47. So never think that Allah will break His promise to His messengers [105]. Indeed, Allah is Mighty, and Lord of Retribution.

Ayah 13

وَلَقَدۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا ٱلۡقُرُونَ مِن قَبۡلِكُمۡ لَمَّا ظَلَمُواْ وَجَآءَتۡهُمۡ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ وَمَا كَانُواْ لِيُؤۡمِنُواْۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ

13. Indeed, We destroyed the generations before you when they [40] wronged, and their messengers came to them with clear signs [41]. But they would not believe. Thus, We recompense the people who are criminals.

Surah Name : Yunus   Surah Number : 10   Ayat Number: 13

Ayah 47

وَلِكُلِّ أُمَّةٖ رَّسُولٞۖ فَإِذَا جَآءَ رَسُولُهُمۡ قُضِيَ بَيۡنَهُم بِٱلۡقِسۡطِ وَهُمۡ لَا يُظۡلَمُونَ

47. And for every nation there has been a Messenger [137]. When their Messenger came to them, it was judged between them with justice [138], and they were not wronged.

Ayah 74

ثُمَّ بَعَثۡنَا مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦ رُسُلًا إِلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِمۡ فَجَآءُوهُم بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ فَمَا كَانُواْ لِيُؤۡمِنُواْ بِمَا كَذَّبُواْ بِهِۦ مِن قَبۡلُۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَطۡبَعُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِ ٱلۡمُعۡتَدِينَ

74. Then after him We sent other messengers [205] to their people. They brought clear proofs to them, but they were not to believe in what they had previously denied [206]. Thus, We seal the hearts of the transgressors [207].

Ayah 101

قُلِ ٱنظُرُواْ مَاذَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَمَا تُغۡنِي ٱلۡأٓيَٰتُ وَٱلنُّذُرُ عَن قَوۡمٖ لَّا يُؤۡمِنُونَ

101. Say, 'Look at what is in the heavens and the earth [265]. But signs and warnings are of no benefit to a people who do not believe [266].

Surah Name : Yunus   Surah Number : 10   Ayat Number: 101

Ayah 103

ثُمَّ نُنَجِّي رُسُلَنَا وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْۚ كَذَٰلِكَ حَقًّا عَلَيۡنَا نُنجِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

103. Then We shall deliver Our Messengers and those who believe. Thus, it is a binding duty upon Us to deliver the believers.

Ayah 59

وَتِلۡكَ عَادٞۖ جَحَدُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمۡ وَعَصَوۡاْ رُسُلَهُۥ وَٱتَّبَعُوٓاْ أَمۡرَ كُلِّ جَبَّارٍ عَنِيدٖ

59. And these are 'Aad. They denied the signs of their Lord and disobeyed [123] His messengers. They followed the command of every rebellious, obstinate tyrant.

Surah Name : Hud   Surah Number : 11   Ayat Number: 59

Ayah 69

وَلَقَدۡ جَآءَتۡ رُسُلُنَآ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ بِٱلۡبُشۡرَىٰ قَالُواْ سَلَٰمٗاۖ قَالَ سَلَٰمٞۖ فَمَا لَبِثَ أَن جَآءَ بِعِجۡلٍ حَنِيذٖ

69. And Our messengers came to Ibrahim with glad tidings. They said, Peace [143]. He answered, Peace [144], and then not long after, brought a roasted calf.

Surah Name : Hud   Surah Number : 11   Ayat Number: 69

Ayah 120

وَكُلّٗا نَّقُصُّ عَلَيۡكَ مِنۡ أَنۢبَآءِ ٱلرُّسُلِ مَا نُثَبِّتُ بِهِۦ فُؤَادَكَۚ وَجَآءَكَ فِي هَٰذِهِ ٱلۡحَقُّ وَمَوۡعِظَةٞ وَذِكۡرَىٰ لِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

120. And all that We relate to you of the news of the messengers [232] is to strengthen your heart [233]. And in this, the truth has come to you, along with an admonition and a reminder for the believers [234].

Surah Name : Hud   Surah Number : 11   Ayat Number: 120

Ayah 78

وَجَٰهِدُواْ فِي ٱللَّهِ حَقَّ جِهَادِهِۦۚ هُوَ ٱجۡتَبَىٰكُمۡ وَمَا جَعَلَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ فِي ٱلدِّينِ مِنۡ حَرَجٖۚ مِّلَّةَ أَبِيكُمۡ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَۚ هُوَ سَمَّىٰكُمُ ٱلۡمُسۡلِمِينَ مِن قَبۡلُ وَفِي هَٰذَا لِيَكُونَ ٱلرَّسُولُ شَهِيدًا عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَتَكُونُواْ شُهَدَآءَ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِۚ فَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُواْ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَٱعۡتَصِمُواْ بِٱللَّهِ هُوَ مَوۡلَىٰكُمۡۖ فَنِعۡمَ ٱلۡمَوۡلَىٰ وَنِعۡمَ ٱلنَّصِيرُ

78. And strive in the path of Allah as is fitting for striving [157]. He has chosen you and has not laid upon you any narrowness [159] in religion, the faith of your father Ibrahim. Allah has named you Muslims in earlier books [160] and in this book too, so that the Messenger may be your custodian and witness [161] and that you may be a witness against mankind. So establish the prayer and pay the poor-due (zakat) [162] and hold fast to the rope of Allah. He is your Protector, and what an Excellent Helper!

Surah Name : Al-Hajj   Surah Number : 22   Ayat Number: 78

Ayah 75

ٱللَّهُ يَصۡطَفِي مِنَ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ رُسُلٗا وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَمِيعُۢ بَصِيرٞ

75. Allah chooses Messengers from amongst the angles and from amongst the men. [153] Indeed, Allah is Hearing, seeing.

Surah Name : Al-Hajj   Surah Number : 22   Ayat Number: 75

Ayah 52

وَمَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِكَ مِن رَّسُولٖ وَلَا نَبِيٍّ إِلَّآ إِذَا تَمَنَّىٰٓ أَلۡقَى ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ فِيٓ أُمۡنِيَّتِهِۦ فَيَنسَخُ ٱللَّهُ مَا يُلۡقِي ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ ثُمَّ يُحۡكِمُ ٱللَّهُ ءَايَٰتِهِۦۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٞ

52. And We sent many Messengers [112] or Prophets. In all this, it has sometimes occurred that when they recited, the devil added [113] something from his own side in their recital towards the people. But Allah removes what the devil casts forth, then Allah firmly establishes His signs [114]. And Allah is Knowing, Wise.

Surah Name : Al-Hajj   Surah Number : 22   Ayat Number: 52

Ayah 41

وَإِذَا رَأَوۡكَ إِن يَتَّخِذُونَكَ إِلَّا هُزُوًا أَهَٰذَا ٱلَّذِي بَعَثَ ٱللَّهُ رَسُولًا

41. And when they see you, they take you for mockery [74]. "Is this the one Allah has sent as a Messenger?" [75].

Surah Name : Al-Furqan   Surah Number : 25   Ayat Number: 41

Ayah 37

وَقَوۡمَ نُوحٖ لَّمَّا كَذَّبُواْ ٱلرُّسُلَ أَغۡرَقۡنَٰهُمۡ وَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمۡ لِلنَّاسِ ءَايَةٗۖ وَأَعۡتَدۡنَا لِلظَّـٰلِمِينَ عَذَابًا أَلِيمٗا

37. And as for the people of Nuh, when they denied the messengers [68], We drowned them and made them a sign for the people [69]. And we have prepared a painful punishment for the wrongdoers (70).

Surah Name : Al-Furqan   Surah Number : 25   Ayat Number: 37

Ayah 30

وَقَالَ ٱلرَّسُولُ يَٰرَبِّ إِنَّ قَوۡمِي ٱتَّخَذُواْ هَٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ مَهۡجُورٗا

30. And the Messenger said [56], "O my Lord, my people have abandoned this Qur'an" [57].

Surah Name : Al-Furqan   Surah Number : 25   Ayat Number: 30

Ayah 27

وَيَوۡمَ يَعَضُّ ٱلظَّالِمُ عَلَىٰ يَدَيۡهِ يَقُولُ يَٰلَيۡتَنِي ٱتَّخَذۡتُ مَعَ ٱلرَّسُولِ سَبِيلٗا

27. And on the Day the wrongdoer will bite his hands, saying, "O, would that I had followed the Messenger" [53].
