Ayah 35

وَدَخَلَ جَنَّتَهُۥ وَهُوَ ظَالِمٞ لِّنَفۡسِهِۦ قَالَ مَآ أَظُنُّ أَن تَبِيدَ هَٰذِهِۦٓ أَبَدٗا

35. And he entered his garden while wronging his soul. He said, [85] “I do not think that it will ever perish [86].”

Ayah 74

فَٱنطَلَقَا حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا لَقِيَا غُلَٰمٗا فَقَتَلَهُۥ قَالَ أَقَتَلۡتَ نَفۡسٗا زَكِيَّةَۢ بِغَيۡرِ نَفۡسٖ لَّقَدۡ جِئۡتَ شَيۡـٔٗا نُّكۡرٗا

74. Again both of them set out until they met a boy [164], whom he killed. Musa said, "Have you killed an innocent person [165] who hasn’t killed anyone else? Indeed, you have committed a grave wrong [166]."

Surah Name : Al-Kahf   Surah Number : 18   Ayat Number: 74

Ayah 35

كُلُّ نَفۡسٖ ذَآئِقَةُ ٱلۡمَوۡتِۗ وَنَبۡلُوكُم بِٱلشَّرِّ وَٱلۡخَيۡرِ فِتۡنَةٗۖ وَإِلَيۡنَا تُرۡجَعُونَ

35. Every soul is to taste death [52]. And We prove you by evil and good for trial. And to Us you are to return [53].

Ayah 43

أَمۡ لَهُمۡ ءَالِهَةٞ تَمۡنَعُهُم مِّن دُونِنَاۚ لَا يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ نَصۡرَ أَنفُسِهِمۡ وَلَا هُم مِّنَّا يُصۡحَبُونَ

43. Have they some gods who protect them besides us? They cannot protect [68] their own souls, and nor against Us may they have company with [69]

Ayah 47

وَنَضَعُ ٱلۡمَوَٰزِينَ ٱلۡقِسۡطَ لِيَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ فَلَا تُظۡلَمُ نَفۡسٞ شَيۡـٔٗاۖ وَإِن كَانَ مِثۡقَالَ حَبَّةٖ مِّنۡ خَرۡدَلٍ أَتَيۡنَا بِهَاۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِنَا حَٰسِبِينَ

47. And We shall set up the scales of justice for the Day of Judgement [75], that no soul shall be wronged [76] anything. And if there be anything, even equal to a grain of a mustard seed, then We shall bring it. And We are sufficient to take into account (77).

Surah Name : Al-Anbiya   Surah Number : 21   Ayat Number: 47

Ayah 102

لَا يَسۡمَعُونَ حَسِيسَهَاۖ وَهُمۡ فِي مَا ٱشۡتَهَتۡ أَنفُسُهُمۡ خَٰلِدُونَ

102. They will not hear the faintest sound of it and they will abide [158] in that which their souls desire.

Surah Name : Al-Anbiya   Surah Number : 21   Ayat Number: 102

Ayah 40

فَكُلًّا أَخَذۡنَا بِذَنۢبِهِۦۖ فَمِنۡهُم مَّنۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ حَاصِبٗا وَمِنۡهُم مَّنۡ أَخَذَتۡهُ ٱلصَّيۡحَةُ وَمِنۡهُم مَّنۡ خَسَفۡنَا بِهِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَمِنۡهُم مَّنۡ أَغۡرَقۡنَاۚ وَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيَظۡلِمَهُمۡ وَلَٰكِن كَانُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمۡ يَظۡلِمُونَ

40. Then We seized each of them on account of his sin [98], then as to some of them We sent the storm of stoning, and as to some of them, a roaring blast overtook them and as to some of them We buried in the earth and as to some of them, We drowned [99]. And it was not befitting to the Dignity of Allah that He would have oppressed them; indeed, they themselves oppressed their souls [100].

Surah Name : Al-Ankabut   Surah Number : 29   Ayat Number: 40

Ayah 57

كُلُّ نَفۡسٖ ذَآئِقَةُ ٱلۡمَوۡتِۖ ثُمَّ إِلَيۡنَا تُرۡجَعُونَ

57. Every soul shall taste death [142], and then to Us you will be returned.

Ayah 62

وَلَا نُكَلِّفُ نَفۡسًا إِلَّا وُسۡعَهَاۚ وَلَدَيۡنَا كِتَٰبٞ يَنطِقُ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَهُمۡ لَا يُظۡلَمُونَ

62. And We do not burden any soul but according to its capacity and with Us is a Book that speaks the truth [94] and they shall not be wronged [95].

Surah Name : Al-Muminun   Surah Number : 23   Ayat Number: 62

Ayah 103

وَمَنۡ خَفَّتۡ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ فَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمۡ فِي جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدُونَ

103. And whose scales [142] are light, these are they who put their souls in loss. Forever they will remain [143] in Hell.

Surah Name : Al-Muminun   Surah Number : 23   Ayat Number: 103

Ayah 53

۞وَمَآ أُبَرِّئُ نَفۡسِيٓۚ إِنَّ ٱلنَّفۡسَ لَأَمَّارَةُۢ بِٱلسُّوٓءِ إِلَّا مَا رَحِمَ رَبِّيٓۚ إِنَّ رَبِّي غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ

53. And I do not acquit myself [118]. Indeed, the soul is prone to evil except for those on whom my Lord has mercy [119]. Indeed, my Lord is Forgiving and merciful.

Surah Name : Yusuf   Surah Number : 12   Ayat Number: 53

Ayah 83

قَالَ بَلۡ سَوَّلَتۡ لَكُمۡ أَنفُسُكُمۡ أَمۡرٗاۖ فَصَبۡرٞ جَمِيلٌۖ عَسَى ٱللَّهُ أَن يَأۡتِيَنِي بِهِمۡ جَمِيعًاۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ

83. He said, "Rather, your souls have tempted you to a matter [178]. So patience is most fitting. Perhaps Allah will bring them all to me [179]. Indeed, He is the Knowing, the Wise."

Surah Name : Yusuf   Surah Number : 12   Ayat Number: 83

Ayah 50

وَلَوۡ تَرَىٰٓ إِذۡ يَتَوَفَّى ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ يَضۡرِبُونَ وُجُوهَهُمۡ وَأَدۡبَٰرَهُمۡ وَذُوقُواْ عَذَابَ ٱلۡحَرِيقِ

50. And if you could see when the angels take the souls of the disbelievers [118], striking their faces and their backs [119], (saying), "Taste the punishment of burning" [120].

Surah Name : Al-Anfal   Surah Number : 8   Ayat Number: 50

Ayah 15

إِنَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ ءَاتِيَةٌ أَكَادُ أُخۡفِيهَا لِتُجۡزَىٰ كُلُّ نَفۡسِۭ بِمَا تَسۡعَىٰ

15. Indeed, the Hour is to come. It was near that I should conceal [16] it from all, that every soul may be recompensed for his endeavour.

Surah Name : Ta-Ha   Surah Number : 20   Ayat Number: 15

Ayah 40

إِذۡ تَمۡشِيٓ أُخۡتُكَ فَتَقُولُ هَلۡ أَدُلُّكُمۡ عَلَىٰ مَن يَكۡفُلُهُۥۖ فَرَجَعۡنَٰكَ إِلَىٰٓ أُمِّكَ كَيۡ تَقَرَّ عَيۡنُهَا وَلَا تَحۡزَنَۚ وَقَتَلۡتَ نَفۡسٗا فَنَجَّيۡنَٰكَ مِنَ ٱلۡغَمِّ وَفَتَنَّـٰكَ فُتُونٗاۚ فَلَبِثۡتَ سِنِينَ فِيٓ أَهۡلِ مَدۡيَنَ ثُمَّ جِئۡتَ عَلَىٰ قَدَرٖ يَٰمُوسَىٰ

40. When your sister [39] walked along, then she said, 'Shall I tell you about who will nurse [40] this child'. Then We turned you back to your mother that she may find coolness in her eyes and that she may not be grieved (41). And you slew a soul, and then We delivered you from sorrow (42) and tested you well. Then you did stay with the people of Madyan (43) for many years, and then you came at a fixed promise O Musa! (44).

Surah Name : Ta-Ha   Surah Number : 20   Ayat Number: 40

Ayah 9

وَمَنۡ خَفَّتۡ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ فَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُم بِمَا كَانُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا يَظۡلِمُونَ

9. And as for those whose scales are light, they are the ones who have lost their souls [11] because of the excesses they committed against Our signs [12].

Surah Name : Al-Araf   Surah Number : 7   Ayat Number: 9

Ayah 37

فَمَنۡ أَظۡلَمُ مِمَّنِ ٱفۡتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَوۡ كَذَّبَ بِـَٔايَٰتِهِۦٓۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ يَنَالُهُمۡ نَصِيبُهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءَتۡهُمۡ رُسُلُنَا يَتَوَفَّوۡنَهُمۡ قَالُوٓاْ أَيۡنَ مَا كُنتُمۡ تَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِۖ قَالُواْ ضَلُّواْ عَنَّا وَشَهِدُواْ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِهِمۡ أَنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ كَٰفِرِينَ

37.Then who is more unjust than him who has forged a lie against Allah or has belied His signs? They will receive what is written in their lot [78] till when Our Messengers (angels) come to them for taking away their souls [79]. Then they say to them: "Where are those whom you used to worship besides Allah?" [80] They say: "They are lost from us." And they bear witness against their own souls that they were infidels [81].

Surah Name : Al-Araf   Surah Number : 7   Ayat Number: 37

Ayah 53

هَلۡ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا تَأۡوِيلَهُۥۚ يَوۡمَ يَأۡتِي تَأۡوِيلُهُۥ يَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ نَسُوهُ مِن قَبۡلُ قَدۡ جَآءَتۡ رُسُلُ رَبِّنَا بِٱلۡحَقِّ فَهَل لَّنَا مِن شُفَعَآءَ فَيَشۡفَعُواْ لَنَآ أَوۡ نُرَدُّ فَنَعۡمَلَ غَيۡرَ ٱلَّذِي كُنَّا نَعۡمَلُۚ قَدۡ خَسِرُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمۡ وَضَلَّ عَنۡهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَفۡتَرُونَ

53. Are they waiting for anything except its interpretation? On the day when its interpretation will come, those who had forgotten it before will say, "Certainly, the Messengers of our Lord came with the truth [124]." Will there be any intercessors for us to intercede for us? Or can we be sent back so that we may do deeds other than those we used to do? Indeed, they have put their souls at loss [125], and what they used to fabricate has gone away from them [126].

Surah Name : Al-Araf   Surah Number : 7   Ayat Number: 53

Ayah 189

۞هُوَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَكُم مِّن نَّفۡسٖ وَٰحِدَةٖ وَجَعَلَ مِنۡهَا زَوۡجَهَا لِيَسۡكُنَ إِلَيۡهَاۖ فَلَمَّا تَغَشَّىٰهَا حَمَلَتۡ حَمۡلًا خَفِيفٗا فَمَرَّتۡ بِهِۦۖ فَلَمَّآ أَثۡقَلَت دَّعَوَا ٱللَّهَ رَبَّهُمَا لَئِنۡ ءَاتَيۡتَنَا صَٰلِحٗا لَّنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلشَّـٰكِرِينَ

189. It is He Who created you from a single soul [439], and made for you therefrom a mate that you may find rest in her. Then, when he covers her, she bears a light burden and moves about with it. Then, when she grows heavy, both pray to their Lord [440]: "If You give us a good child, we shall surely be grateful" [441].

Surah Name : Al-Araf   Surah Number : 7   Ayat Number: 189

Ayah 38

هَـٰٓأَنتُمۡ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ تُدۡعَوۡنَ لِتُنفِقُواْ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ فَمِنكُم مَّن يَبۡخَلُۖ وَمَن يَبۡخَلۡ فَإِنَّمَا يَبۡخَلُ عَن نَّفۡسِهِۦۚ وَٱللَّهُ ٱلۡغَنِيُّ وَأَنتُمُ ٱلۡفُقَرَآءُۚ وَإِن تَتَوَلَّوۡاْ يَسۡتَبۡدِلۡ قَوۡمًا غَيۡرَكُمۡ ثُمَّ لَا يَكُونُوٓاْ أَمۡثَٰلَكُم

38.Ha! You are those who are called upon to spend [92] in the Way of Allah. Then, of you some are misers[93]. And whosoever is a miser, is only a miser to his soul. And Allah is Self- Sufficient, and all of you are needy . And if you (94) turn your face, He will substitute for you another nation, and they will not be like you(95).
