236. There is no blame on you if you divorce women whom you have not touched [580], or if you have not yet set a dowry for them [581]. Surah Name : Al-Baqarah   Surah Number : 2   Ayat Number: 236

Ayah 247

247. And their Prophet said to them: "Surely, Allah has appointed Talut (Saul) [616] for you as a king." They said: "How can he have the right of kingship over us [617]? Whereas we are more entitled [618] to the kingship than he and he has not been given ample wealth." He (Talut) said: "Surely, Allah has chosen him [619] over you and has increased him [620] abundantly in knowledge and body. And Allah bestows His kingdom to whom He wills. And Allah is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing."

Surah Name : Al-Baqarah   Surah Number : 2   Ayat Number: 247

Ayah 261

261. The example of those who spend [683] their wealth in the way of Allah is like a grain of wheat, which grows into seven [684] offshoots, and each offshoot contains one hundred grains. Ayah 262

264. O you who believe! Do not render in vain your charities by boasting of your favors conferred followed by injury [691], like him who spent [692] his wealth for showing to people and believes not in Allah and the Last Day. Then the example of such a person is like that of a smooth rock upon which is dust [693]; and it is struck by a heavy rain, leaving it a bare stone [694]. They shall have no control [695] on anything of what they have earned, and Allah does not guide the people who disbelieve [696].
