Ayah 10

وَأَمَّا مَنۡ أُوتِيَ كِتَٰبَهُۥ وَرَآءَ ظَهۡرِهِۦ

10. And as to him who will be given his record from behind his back [8].

Ayah 19

وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا هُمۡ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَشۡـَٔمَةِ

19. But those who disbelieve Our Verses; they are the people of the left hand [21].

Ayah 25

وَأَمَّا مَنۡ أُوتِيَ كِتَٰبَهُۥ بِشِمَالِهِۦ فَيَقُولُ يَٰلَيۡتَنِي لَمۡ أُوتَ كِتَٰبِيَهۡ

25.And as for him who is given his account in his left[29] hand, he shall say: "O would that my record had never been given to me[30]."

Ayah 26

وَلَمۡ أَدۡرِ مَا حِسَابِيَهۡ

26." And had I not known what my account was[31],"

يَٰلَيۡتَهَا كَانَتِ ٱلۡقَاضِيَةَ

27. "Would that had been my end[32]."

مَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنِّي مَالِيَهۡۜ

28. "My wealth has availed me nothing[33]."

هَلَكَ عَنِّي سُلۡطَٰنِيَهۡ

29. "My authority has been stripped[34] from me."

خُذُوهُ فَغُلُّوهُ

30."Get hold of him, then put an iron collar[35] on him."

Ayah 31

ثُمَّ ٱلۡجَحِيمَ صَلُّوهُ

31. Then cast him into the burning [36] fire.

Ayah 32

ثُمَّ فِي سِلۡسِلَةٖ ذَرۡعُهَا سَبۡعُونَ ذِرَاعٗا فَٱسۡلُكُوهُ

32.Then thrust him into a chain, the length of which is seventy[37] cubits, thread him[38].

Ayah 33

إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ

33.Certainly he did not believe [39] in Allah the Great.

Ayah 34

وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلۡمِسۡكِينِ

34.Nor did he urge the feeding[40] of the poor.

Ayah 35

فَلَيۡسَ لَهُ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ هَٰهُنَا حَمِيمٞ

35.Therefore, he neither has a true friend [41] today.

Ayah 37

لَّا يَأۡكُلُهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱلۡخَٰطِـُٔونَ

37.Which none but the sinners [43] eat.

وَأَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَشۡـَٔمَةِ مَآ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَشۡـَٔمَةِ
