Ayah 176

كَذَّبَ أَصۡحَٰبُ لۡـَٔيۡكَةِ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ

176. The people of the thicket denied the Messengers. [176]

Ayah 177

إِذۡ قَالَ لَهُمۡ شُعَيۡبٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ

177. When Shu'ayb said to them, "Will you not fear [Allah]?"

Ayah 178

إِنِّي لَكُمۡ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٞ

178. Indeed, I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. [178]

فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ

179. Therefore, fear Allah and obey me. [179]

وَمَآ أَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ مِنۡ أَجۡرٍۖ إِنۡ أَجۡرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

180. And I ask you no reward for it. My reward is only with the Lord of the worlds. [180]

۞أَوۡفُواْ ٱلۡكَيۡلَ وَلَا تَكُونُواْ مِنَ ٱلۡمُخۡسِرِينَ

وَزِنُواْ بِٱلۡقِسۡطَاسِ ٱلۡمُسۡتَقِيمِ

183. And do not diminish people's goods [181], nor act corruptly in the earth, spreading mischief. [183]

وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَكُمۡ وَٱلۡجِبِلَّةَ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

184. And fear Him [183] Who created you and the earlier people.

قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُسَحَّرِينَ

185. They said, "You are only one of the bewitched." [184]

وَمَآ أَنتَ إِلَّا بَشَرٞ مِّثۡلُنَا وَإِن نَّظُنُّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلۡكَٰذِبِينَ

186. You are nothing but a man like us [185], and we think you are among the liars. [186]

Ayah 187

فَأَسۡقِطۡ عَلَيۡنَا كِسَفٗا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ

187. Therefore, cause a piece of the sky to fall upon us if you are among the truthful. [187]

Ayah 188

قَالَ رَبِّيٓ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ

188. He said, My lord knows well what are your doings. [188]

فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَخَذَهُمۡ عَذَابُ يَوۡمِ ٱلظُّلَّةِۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ عَذَابَ يَوۡمٍ عَظِيمٍ

189. Then they denied him, so the punishment of the Day of Shadow overtook them [189]. Indeed, it was the punishment of a tremendous day. [190]

Ayah 190

إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكۡثَرُهُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَ

190. Indeed, in that is a sign, and most of them were not believers [190].

وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
