بَدِيعُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لَهُۥ وَلَدٞ وَلَمۡ تَكُن لَّهُۥ صَٰحِبَةٞۖ وَخَلَقَ كُلَّ شَيۡءٖۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيۡءٍ عَلِيمٞ

Badee'us samaawaati wal ardi annnaa yakoonu lahoo waladunw wa lam takul lahoo saahibatunw wa khalaqa kulla shain'inw wa Huwa bikulli shai'in 'Aleem
૧૦૧- તે આકાશો અને ધરતીનો સૌ પ્રથમ વખત સર્જન કરનાર છે, અલ્લાહ તઆલાના સંતાન કેવી રીતે હોઇ શકે છે, જેની કોઇ પત્ની જ નથી, અને અલ્લાહ તઆલાએ દરેક વસ્તુનું સર્જન કર્યું અને તે દરેક વસ્તુને ખૂબ સારી રીતે જાણે છે.

ذَٰلِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّكُمۡۖ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۖ خَٰلِقُ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ فَٱعۡبُدُوهُۚ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ وَكِيلٞ

Zaalikumul laahu Rabbukum laaa ilaaha illaa huwa khaaliqu kulli shai'in fa'budooh; wa huwa 'alaa kulli shai'inw Wakeel
૧૦૨) આ જ અલ્લાહ તઆલા તમારો પાલનહાર છે, તેના સિવાય કોઇ બંદગીને લાયક નથી, દરેક વસ્તુનું સર્જન કરનાર, તો તમે તેની બંદગી કરો, અને તે દરેક વસ્તુનો કાર્યકર્તા છે.

لَّا تُدۡرِكُهُ ٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرُ وَهُوَ يُدۡرِكُ ٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرَۖ وَهُوَ ٱللَّطِيفُ ٱلۡخَبِيرُ

Laa tudrikuhul absaaru wa Huwa yudrikul absaara wa huwal Lateeful Khabeer
૧૦૩- કોઇ દૃષ્ટિ તેને પામી શકતી નથી અને તે દરેક દૃષ્ટિને ઓળખી જાય છે, તે અત્યંત સૂક્ષ્મ દૃષ્ટિવાળો અને ખૂબ માહિતગાર છે.

قَدۡ جَآءَكُم بَصَآئِرُ مِن رَّبِّكُمۡۖ فَمَنۡ أَبۡصَرَ فَلِنَفۡسِهِۦۖ وَمَنۡ عَمِيَ فَعَلَيۡهَاۚ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ عَلَيۡكُم بِحَفِيظٖ

Qad jaaa'akum basaaa'iru mir Rabbikum faman absara falinafsihee wa man 'amiya fa'alaihaa; wa maaa ana 'alaikum bihafeez
૧૦૪- તમારી પાસે તમારા પાલનહાર તરફથી સત્ય વાત પહોંચી ગઇ છે, તો હવે જે વ્યક્તિ જોઇ લેશે તે પોતાનો ફાયદો કરશે અને જે વ્યક્તિ આંધળો રહેશે તે પોતાનું નુકસાન કરશે, અને હું તમારો નિરીક્ષક નથી.

وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُصَرِّفُ ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ وَلِيَقُولُواْ دَرَسۡتَ وَلِنُبَيِّنَهُۥ لِقَوۡمٖ يَعۡلَمُونَ

Wa kazaalika nusarriful Aayaati wa liyaqooloo darasta wa linubaiyinahoo liqawminy ya'lamoon
૧૦૫- અને અમે આવી રીતે પૂરાવાને અલગ-અલગ રીતે વર્ણન કરીએ છીએ, જેથી ઇન્કાર કરનાર એવું ન કહે કે આ તો તે કોઈની સાથે શીખી લીધું છે અને એટલા માટે પણ કે જ્ઞાન ધરાવનાર માટે આ આયતોનો સ્પષ્ટ કરી દઈએ.

ٱتَّبِعۡ مَآ أُوحِيَ إِلَيۡكَ مِن رَّبِّكَۖ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۖ وَأَعۡرِضۡ عَنِ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ

ittabi' maaa oohiya ilaika mir Rabbika laaa ilaaha illaa Huwa wa a'rid 'anil mushrikeen
૧૦૬- તમે પોતે આ માર્ગ પર ચાલતા રહો જેની વહી તમારા પાલનહાર તરફથી તમારી પાસે આવી છે, અલ્લાહ તઆલા સિવાય કોઇ ઇલાહ નથી અને મુશરિકોની પાછળ ન પડશો.

وَلَوۡ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مَآ أَشۡرَكُواْۗ وَمَا جَعَلۡنَٰكَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ حَفِيظٗاۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ عَلَيۡهِم بِوَكِيلٖ

Wa law shaaa'al laahu maaa ashrakoo; wa maa ja'alnaaka 'alaihim hafeezanw wa maaa anta 'alaihim biwakeel
૧૦૭- અને જો અલ્લાહ તઆલા ઇચ્છતો તો આ લોકો શિર્ક ન કરતા, અને અમે તમને તેઓ માટે નિરીક્ષક નથી બનાવ્યા, અને ન તો તમે તેમના પર અધિકાર ધરાવો છો.

وَلَا تَسُبُّواْ ٱلَّذِينَ يَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَيَسُبُّواْ ٱللَّهَ عَدۡوَۢا بِغَيۡرِ عِلۡمٖۗ كَذَٰلِكَ زَيَّنَّا لِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ عَمَلَهُمۡ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِم مَّرۡجِعُهُمۡ فَيُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ

Wa laa tasubbul lazeena yad'oona min doonil laahi fa yasubbul laaha 'adwam bighairi 'ilm; kazaalika zaiyannaa likulli ummatin 'amalahum summa ilaa Rabbihim marji'uhum fa yunabbi'uhum bimaa kaanoo ya'maloon
૧૦૮- (હે મુસલમાનો) જે લોકો અલ્લાહને છોડીને બીજાને પોકારે છે, તેમને અપશબ્દો ન કહો, નહિ તો આ લોકો અજ્ઞાનતાના કારણે અલ્લાહ માટે અપશબ્દો કહેશે, એવી જ રીતે અમે દરેક જુથના અમલને સુંદર બનાવી દીધા છે, પછી તેમને પાલનહાર તરફ પાછા ફરવાનું છે, તો જે કંઈ આ લોકો કરે છે, કરતા રહેવા દો, તેની જાણ અલ્લાહ તેમને આપી દેશે.

وَأَقۡسَمُواْ بِٱللَّهِ جَهۡدَ أَيۡمَٰنِهِمۡ لَئِن جَآءَتۡهُمۡ ءَايَةٞ لَّيُؤۡمِنُنَّ بِهَاۚ قُلۡ إِنَّمَا ٱلۡأٓيَٰتُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِۖ وَمَا يُشۡعِرُكُمۡ أَنَّهَآ إِذَا جَآءَتۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ

Wa aqsamoo billaahi jahda aimaanihim la'in jaaa'at hum Aayatul la yu'minunna bihaa; qul innamal Aayaatu 'indal laahi wa maa yush'irukum annahaaa izaa jaaa'at laa yu'minoon
૧૦૯- અને આ લોકો અલ્લાહના નામની મજબૂત કસમો ખાય છે કે જો તેમની પાસે મુઅજિઝો આવી જાય તો તેના પર જરૂર ઈમાન લઈ આવે, તમે તેમને કહી દો કે મુઅજિઝા તો અલ્લાહ પાસે છે, અને તમને કઈ રીતે સમજાવવામાં આવે કે કોઈ મૂઅજિઝો તેમની પાસે આવી પણ જાય તો પણ તેઓ ઈમાન નહિ લાવે.

وَنُقَلِّبُ أَفۡـِٔدَتَهُمۡ وَأَبۡصَٰرَهُمۡ كَمَا لَمۡ يُؤۡمِنُواْ بِهِۦٓ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٖ وَنَذَرُهُمۡ فِي طُغۡيَٰنِهِمۡ يَعۡمَهُونَ

Wa nuqallibu af'idatahum wa absaarahum kamaa lam yu'minoo biheee awwala marratinw wa nazaruhum fee tughyaanihim ya'mahoon (section 13, End Juz 7)
૧૧૦- અને અમે પણ તેઓના હૃદયોને અને તેઓની દૃષ્ટિઓને ફેરવી નાખીશું, જેવું કે આ લોકો તેના પર પ્રથમ વખત ઈમાન ન લાવ્યા, અને અમે તેઓને તેઓની પથભ્રષ્ટતામાં પરેશાન રહેવા દઇશું.

Tawhid is highly emphasized in this Surah. It contains the basic principles of Tawhid. It provides beautiful descriptions of Allah's creative power. It criticizes Shirk and its manifestations.
