Versículo 11 de 10

قُلۡ سِيرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ ثُمَّ ٱنظُرُواْ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ

Qul seeroo fil ardi summan zuroo kaifa kaana 'aaqibatul mukazzibeen
11. Diles (¡oh, Muhammad!): «Viajad por la tierra y reflexionad sobre el final que tuvieron quienes negaban la verdad».

Versículo 12 de 10

قُل لِّمَن مَّا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ قُل لِّلَّهِۚ كَتَبَ عَلَىٰ نَفۡسِهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَةَۚ لَيَجۡمَعَنَّكُمۡ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ لَا رَيۡبَ فِيهِۚ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ

Qul limam maa fis samaawaati wal ardi qul lillaah; kataba 'alaa nafsihir rahmah; la yajma 'annakum ilaa Yawmil Qiyaamati laa raiba feeh; allazeena khasirooo anfusahum fahum laa yu'minoon
12. Pregunta (a los idólatras, ¡oh, Muhammad!): «¿A quién pertenece cuanto hay en los cielos y en la tierra?». Di: «Pertenece a Al-lah». (Al-lah) se ha prescrito a Sí mismo la misericordia. Ciertamente, os reunirá (a todos) el Día de la Resurrección, sobre el cual no hay duda. Quienes (hayan adorado a otros fuera de Al-lah) habrán causado su propia perdición, pues no habrán creído (en la unicidad de Al-lah ni en Su promesa, ni en Su castigo, ni el profeta Muhammad).

۞وَلَهُۥ مَا سَكَنَ فِي ٱلَّيۡلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِۚ وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ

Wa lahoo maa sakana fillaili wannahaar; wa Huwas Samee'ul Aleem
13. A Él pertenece cuanto habita (o reposa) en la noche y en el día[204]. Y Él es el Oyente, el Omnisciente.

Versículo 14 de 10

قُلۡ أَغَيۡرَ ٱللَّهِ أَتَّخِذُ وَلِيّٗا فَاطِرِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَهُوَ يُطۡعِمُ وَلَا يُطۡعَمُۗ قُلۡ إِنِّيٓ أُمِرۡتُ أَنۡ أَكُونَ أَوَّلَ مَنۡ أَسۡلَمَۖ وَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ

Qul aghairal laahi attakhizu waliyyan faatiris samaawaati wal ardi wa Huwa yut'imu wa laa yut'am; qul inneee umirtu an akoona awwala man aslama wa laa takoonanna minal mushrikeen
14. Diles (¡oh, Muhammad!): «¿Cómo puedo tomar por protector a otro que no sea Al-lah cuando Él ha creado los cielos y la tierra y provee de alimento mientras que no es alimentado?». Diles: «Se me ha ordenado ser el primero en someterme (a la voluntad de Al-lah) aceptando el islam y no ser de los idólatras».

قُلۡ إِنِّيٓ أَخَافُ إِنۡ عَصَيۡتُ رَبِّي عَذَابَ يَوۡمٍ عَظِيمٖ

Qul inneee akhaafu in 'asaitu Rabbee 'azaaba Yawmin 'Azeem
15. Diles: «Temo el castigo de un día terrible si desobedezco a mi Señor».

مَّن يُصۡرَفۡ عَنۡهُ يَوۡمَئِذٖ فَقَدۡ رَحِمَهُۥۚ وَذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡمُبِينُ

Mai yusraf 'anhu Yawma'izin faqad rahimah; wa zaalikal fawzul mubeen
16. Quien ese día se libre del castigohabrá recibido la misericordia de Al-lah; y ese será el triunfo evidente.

Versículo 17 de 10

وَإِن يَمۡسَسۡكَ ٱللَّهُ بِضُرّٖ فَلَا كَاشِفَ لَهُۥٓ إِلَّا هُوَۖ وَإِن يَمۡسَسۡكَ بِخَيۡرٖ فَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٞ

Wa iny-yamsaskal laahu bidurrin falaaa kaashifa lahoo illaa Huwa wa iny-yamsaska bikhairin fa Huwa 'alaa kulli shai'in Qadeer
17. Si Al-lah hace que te sobrevenga una adversidad, nadie, salvo Él, podrá librarte de ella; y si hace que te suceda algo bueno (nadie podrá impedirlo), pues Él es Todopoderoso.

وَهُوَ ٱلۡقَاهِرُ فَوۡقَ عِبَادِهِۦۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ ٱلۡخَبِيرُ

Wa Huwal qaahiru fawqa 'ibaadih; wa Huwal Hakeemul Khabeer
18. Y Él es el Dominador Supremo sobre Sus siervos, y Él es el Sabio y Quien está informado de todas las cosas.

قُلۡ أَيُّ شَيۡءٍ أَكۡبَرُ شَهَٰدَةٗۖ قُلِ ٱللَّهُۖ شَهِيدُۢ بَيۡنِي وَبَيۡنَكُمۡۚ وَأُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ هَٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ لِأُنذِرَكُم بِهِۦ وَمَنۢ بَلَغَۚ أَئِنَّكُمۡ لَتَشۡهَدُونَ أَنَّ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ ءَالِهَةً أُخۡرَىٰۚ قُل لَّآ أَشۡهَدُۚ قُلۡ إِنَّمَا هُوَ إِلَٰهٞ وَٰحِدٞ وَإِنَّنِي بَرِيٓءٞ مِّمَّا تُشۡرِكُونَ

Qul ayyu shai'in akbaru shahaadatan qulil laahu shaheedum bainee wa bainakum; wa oohiya ilaiya haazal Qur'aanu li unzirakum bihee wa mam balagh; a'innakum latashhadoona anna ma'al laahi aalihatan ukhraa; qul laaa ashhad; qul innamaa Huwa Ilaahunw Waahidunw wa innanee baree'um mimmaa tushrikoon
19. Pregunta (a tu gente, ¡oh, Muhammad!): «¿Qué testimonio es el de más valor?». Respóndeles: «(El de Al-lah), Al-lah es testigo entre vosotros y yo. Y este Corán me ha sido revelado para advertirosmedianteél a vosotros y a quienes les llegue su mensaje. ¿Acaso podéis dar fe de que hay otras divinidades fuera de Al-lah?». Diles: «Yo no doy fe de ello». Diles: «Él es, en verdad, un Dios Único, y yo no soy responsable de lo que vosotros adoráis fuera de Él».

Versículo 20 de 10

ٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ يَعۡرِفُونَهُۥ كَمَا يَعۡرِفُونَ أَبۡنَآءَهُمُۘ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ

Allazeena aatainaa humul Kitaaba ya'rifoonahoo kamaa ya'rifoona abnaaa'ahum; allazeena khasirooo anfusahum fahum laa yu'minoon
20. Aquellos a quienes concedimos las Escrituras (judíos y cristianos) reconocen al profeta Muhammad (por las descripciones que de él encuentran en sus Escrituras)[205] del mismo modo que reconocen a sus propios hijos; (mas siguen sus pasiones) y han causado su propia perdición al no creer (en él ni en el Corán).

Tawhid is highly emphasized in this Surah. It contains the basic principles of Tawhid. It provides beautiful descriptions of Allah's creative power. It criticizes Shirk and its manifestations.

  • in this universe, Allah's Oneness is the reality.
  • There is no foundation for polytheism.
  • Tawhid was preached by Prophet Ibrahim, peace be upon him. Other Prophets also preached it.
