Versículo 71 de 165

قُلۡ أَنَدۡعُواْ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنفَعُنَا وَلَا يَضُرُّنَا وَنُرَدُّ عَلَىٰٓ أَعۡقَابِنَا بَعۡدَ إِذۡ هَدَىٰنَا ٱللَّهُ كَٱلَّذِي ٱسۡتَهۡوَتۡهُ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينُ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ حَيۡرَانَ لَهُۥٓ أَصۡحَٰبٞ يَدۡعُونَهُۥٓ إِلَى ٱلۡهُدَى ٱئۡتِنَاۗ قُلۡ إِنَّ هُدَى ٱللَّهِ هُوَ ٱلۡهُدَىٰۖ وَأُمِرۡنَا لِنُسۡلِمَ لِرَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

Qul anad'oo min doonil laahi maa laa yanfa'unaa wa laa yadurrunaa wa nuraddu 'alaaa a'qaabina ba'da iz hadaanal laahu kallazis tahwat hush Shayaateenu fil ardi hairaana lahooo ashaabuny yad'oo nahooo ilal huda' tinaa; qul inna hudal laahi huwal hudaa wa umirnaa linuslima li Rabbil 'aalameen
71. Diles: «¿Invocaremos fuera de Al-lah aquello que no puede ni beneficiarnos ni perjudicarnos, retrocediendo sobre nuestros pasos después de que Al-lah nos ha guiado? (En tal caso seríamos) como aquel a quien los demonios han extraviado y confundido (y camina errante) por la tierra a pesar de tener compañeros que lo llaman al buen camino diciéndole: “¡Ven con nosotros!”». Di: «El camino de Al-lah es el verdadero camino; y se nos ha ordenado someter completamente (nuestra voluntad) al Señor de toda la creación.

Versículo 72 de 165

وَأَنۡ أَقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَٱتَّقُوهُۚ وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِيٓ إِلَيۡهِ تُحۡشَرُونَ

Wa an aqeemus Salaata wattaqooh; wa Huwal lazeee ilaihi tuhsharoon
72. »Y (se nos ha ordenado) cumplir el salat y temerle». Y ante Él seréis reunidos (el Día de la Resurrección).

Versículo 73 de 165

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ بِٱلۡحَقِّۖ وَيَوۡمَ يَقُولُ كُن فَيَكُونُۚ قَوۡلُهُ ٱلۡحَقُّۚ وَلَهُ ٱلۡمُلۡكُ يَوۡمَ يُنفَخُ فِي ٱلصُّورِۚ عَٰلِمُ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ ٱلۡخَبِيرُ

Wa Huwal lazee khalaqas samaawaati wal arda bilhaqq; wa Yawma yaqoolu kun fa yakoon; Qawluhul haqq; wa lahul mulku Yawma yunfakhu fis Soor; 'Aalimul Ghaibi wash shahaadah; wa Huwal Hakeemul Khabeer
73. Y Él es Quien creó los cielos y la tierra con sabiduría; y el Día de la Resurrección dirá «sé», y será (y de esta manera se establecerá al instante dicho día). Su palabra siempre se cumple. Suyo será el dominio el día en que suene el cuerno (anunciando la resurrección). Conoce todo cuanto se escapa a los sentidos del hombre y lo que este presencia; y Él es el Sabio, Quien está informado de todas las cosas.

Versículo 74 de 165

۞وَإِذۡ قَالَ إِبۡرَٰهِيمُ لِأَبِيهِ ءَازَرَ أَتَتَّخِذُ أَصۡنَامًا ءَالِهَةً إِنِّيٓ أَرَىٰكَ وَقَوۡمَكَ فِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٖ

Wa iz qaala Ibraaheemu li abeehi Aazara a-tattakhizu asnaaman aalihatan inneee araaka wa qawmaka fee dalaalim mubeen
74. Y (recuerda a tu gente, ¡oh, Muhammad!) cuando Abraham dijo a su padre Azar: «¿Tomas ídolos como dioses? Ciertamente, te veo a ti a tu pueblo en un claro extravío».

Versículo 75 de 165

وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُرِيٓ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ مَلَكُوتَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلِيَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُوقِنِينَ

Wa kazaalika nureee Ibraaheema malakootas samaawaati wal ardi wa liyakoona minal mooqineen
75. Y así mostramos a Abraham los reinos de los cielos y de la tierra para que fuera de quienes creen con convicción.

Versículo 76 de 165

فَلَمَّا جَنَّ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلَّيۡلُ رَءَا كَوۡكَبٗاۖ قَالَ هَٰذَا رَبِّيۖ فَلَمَّآ أَفَلَ قَالَ لَآ أُحِبُّ ٱلۡأٓفِلِينَ

Falammaa janna 'alaihil lailu ra aa kawkabaan qaala haaza Rabbee falammaaa afala qaala laaa uhibbul aafileen
76. Y cuando la noche lo cubrió con su oscuridad, vio una estrella y dijo: «Esto es mi Señor». Mas, cuando desapareció, dijo: «No amo lo que se desvanece».

Versículo 77 de 165

فَلَمَّا رَءَا ٱلۡقَمَرَ بَازِغٗا قَالَ هَٰذَا رَبِّيۖ فَلَمَّآ أَفَلَ قَالَ لَئِن لَّمۡ يَهۡدِنِي رَبِّي لَأَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلضَّآلِّينَ

Falammmaa ra al qamara baazighan qaala haazaa Rabbee falammaaa afala qaala la'il lam yahdinee Rabbee la akoonanna minal qawmid daaalleen
77. Y cuando vio aparecer la luna, dijo: «Este es mi Señor». Mas, cuando se ocultó, dijo: «Si mi Señor no me guía, seré de los extraviados».

Versículo 78 de 165

فَلَمَّا رَءَا ٱلشَّمۡسَ بَازِغَةٗ قَالَ هَٰذَا رَبِّي هَٰذَآ أَكۡبَرُۖ فَلَمَّآ أَفَلَتۡ قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ إِنِّي بَرِيٓءٞ مِّمَّا تُشۡرِكُونَ

Falammaa ra ashshamsa baazighatan qaala haazaa Rabbee haazaaa akbaru falammaaa afalat qaala yaa qawmi innee bareee'um mimmaa tushrikoon
78. Y cuando vio salir el sol, dijo: «Esto es mi Señor, es más grande (que todo lo demás)». Mas, cuando se puso, dijo: «¡Pueblo mío!, no tengo nada que ver con lo que vosotros adoráis.

إِنِّي وَجَّهۡتُ وَجۡهِيَ لِلَّذِي فَطَرَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ حَنِيفٗاۖ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ

Innnee wajjahtu wajhiya lillazee fataras samaawaati wal arda haneefanw wa maaa ana minal mushrikeen
79. »Consagro mi adoración pura y sincera a Quien ha creado los cielos y la tierra; y no soy de los idólatras».

Versículo 80 de 165

وَحَآجَّهُۥ قَوۡمُهُۥۚ قَالَ أَتُحَـٰٓجُّوٓنِّي فِي ٱللَّهِ وَقَدۡ هَدَىٰنِۚ وَلَآ أَخَافُ مَا تُشۡرِكُونَ بِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ رَبِّي شَيۡـٔٗاۚ وَسِعَ رَبِّي كُلَّ شَيۡءٍ عِلۡمًاۚ أَفَلَا تَتَذَكَّرُونَ

Wa haaajjahoo qawmuh; qaala a-tuh'haaajjooonnee fillaahi wa qad hadaan; wa laaa akhaafu maa tushrikoona bihee illaaa ai yashaaa'a Rabbee shai'anw wasi'a Rabbee kulla shai'in 'ilman afalaa tatazakkaroon
80. Pero su pueblo se puso a discutir con él. (Abraham) dijo: «¿Me discutís acerca de Al-lah cuando Él me ha guiado? No temo lo que adoráis fuera de Él (pues nada puede sucederme), a menos que mi Señor lo quiera. El conocimiento de mi Señor abarca todas las cosas. ¿Es que no reflexionáis?

Tawhid is highly emphasized in this Surah. It contains the basic principles of Tawhid. It provides beautiful descriptions of Allah's creative power. It criticizes Shirk and its manifestations.
