آیت 41 میں سے 123

۞وَقَالَ ٱرۡكَبُواْ فِيهَا بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ مَجۡرٜىٰهَا وَمُرۡسَىٰهَآۚ إِنَّ رَبِّي لَغَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ

Wa qaalar kaboo feehaa bismil laahi majraihaa wa mursaahaa; inna Rabbee la Ghafoorur Raheem
نوح ﴿علیہ السلام﴾ نے کہا، اس کشتی میں بیٹھ جاؤ اللہ ہی کے نام سے اس کا چلنا اور ٹھہرنا ہے(1) ، یقیناً میرا رب بڑی بخشش اور بڑے رحم واﻻ ہے۔

آیت 42 میں سے 123

وَهِيَ تَجۡرِي بِهِمۡ فِي مَوۡجٖ كَٱلۡجِبَالِ وَنَادَىٰ نُوحٌ ٱبۡنَهُۥ وَكَانَ فِي مَعۡزِلٖ يَٰبُنَيَّ ٱرۡكَب مَّعَنَا وَلَا تَكُن مَّعَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ

Wa hiya tajree bihim fee mawjin kaljibaali wa naadaa Noohunib nahoo wa kaana fee ma'ziliny yaa bunai yarkam ma'anaa wa laa takum ma'al kaafireen
42. And it is sailing with them amidst waves like mountains [89]. And Nuh called his son [90], "Embark with us and be not with the disbelievers" [91].

آیت 43 میں سے 123

قَالَ سَـَٔاوِيٓ إِلَىٰ جَبَلٖ يَعۡصِمُنِي مِنَ ٱلۡمَآءِۚ قَالَ لَا عَاصِمَ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ مِنۡ أَمۡرِ ٱللَّهِ إِلَّا مَن رَّحِمَۚ وَحَالَ بَيۡنَهُمَا ٱلۡمَوۡجُ فَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُغۡرَقِينَ

Qaala sa aaweee ilaa jabaliny ya'simunee minal maaa'; qaala laa 'aasimal yawma min amril laahi illaa mar rahim; wa haala bainahumal mawju fakaana minal mughraqeen
اس نے جواب دیا کہ میں تو کسی بڑے پہاڑ کی طرف پناه میں آجاؤں گا جو مجھے پانی سے بچا لے گا(1) ، نوح ﴿علیہ السلام﴾ نے کہا آج اللہ کے امر سے بچانے واﻻ کوئی نہیں، صرف وہی بچیں گے جن پر اللہ کا رحم ہوا۔ اسی وقت ان دونوں کے درمیان موج حائل ہوگئی اور وه ڈوبنے والوں میں سے ہوگیا۔(2)

آیت 44 میں سے 123

وَقِيلَ يَـٰٓأَرۡضُ ٱبۡلَعِي مَآءَكِ وَيَٰسَمَآءُ أَقۡلِعِي وَغِيضَ ٱلۡمَآءُ وَقُضِيَ ٱلۡأَمۡرُ وَٱسۡتَوَتۡ عَلَى ٱلۡجُودِيِّۖ وَقِيلَ بُعۡدٗا لِّلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

Wa qeela yaaa ardubla'ee maaa'aki wa yaa samaaa'u aqli'ee wa gheedal maaa'u wa qudiyal amru wastawat 'alal joodiyyi wa qeela bu'dal lilqawmiz zaalimeen
فرما دیا گیا کہ اے زمین اپنے پانی کو نگل جا(1) اور اے آسمان بس کر تھم جا، اسی وقت پانی سکھا دیا گیا اور کام پورا کر دیا گیا(2) اور کشتی جودی نامی(3) پہاڑ پر جا لگی اور فرما دیا گیا کہ ﻇالم لوگوں پر لعنت نازل ہو۔(4)

آیت 45 میں سے 123

وَنَادَىٰ نُوحٞ رَّبَّهُۥ فَقَالَ رَبِّ إِنَّ ٱبۡنِي مِنۡ أَهۡلِي وَإِنَّ وَعۡدَكَ ٱلۡحَقُّ وَأَنتَ أَحۡكَمُ ٱلۡحَٰكِمِينَ

Wa naadaa noohur Rabbahoo faqaala Rabbi innabnee min ahlee wa inna wa'dakal haqqu wa Anta ahkamul haakimeen
نوح ﴿علیہ السلام﴾ نے اپنے پروردگار کو پکارا اور کہا کہ میرے رب میرا بیٹا تو میرے گھر والوں میں سے ہے، یقیناً تیرا وعده بالکل سچا ہے اور تو تمام حاکموں سے بہتر حاکم ہے۔(1)

آیت 46 میں سے 123

قَالَ يَٰنُوحُ إِنَّهُۥ لَيۡسَ مِنۡ أَهۡلِكَۖ إِنَّهُۥ عَمَلٌ غَيۡرُ صَٰلِحٖۖ فَلَا تَسۡـَٔلۡنِ مَا لَيۡسَ لَكَ بِهِۦ عِلۡمٌۖ إِنِّيٓ أَعِظُكَ أَن تَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡجَٰهِلِينَ

Qaala yaa Noohu innahoo laisa min ahlika innahoo 'amalun ghairu saalihin falaa tas'alni maa laisa laka bihee 'ilmun inneee a'izuka an takoona minal jaahileen
اللہ تعالیٰ نے فرمایا اے نوح یقیناً وه تیرے گھرانے سے نہیں ہے(1) ، اس کے کام بالکل ہی ناشائستہ ہیں(2) تجھے ہرگز وه چیز نہ مانگنی چاہئے جس کا تجھے مطلقاً علم نہ ہو(3) میں تجھے نصیحت کرتا ہوں کہ تو جاہلوں میں سے اپنا شمار کرانے سے باز رہے۔(4)

آیت 47 میں سے 123

قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّيٓ أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنۡ أَسۡـَٔلَكَ مَا لَيۡسَ لِي بِهِۦ عِلۡمٞۖ وَإِلَّا تَغۡفِرۡ لِي وَتَرۡحَمۡنِيٓ أَكُن مِّنَ ٱلۡخَٰسِرِينَ

Qaala rabbi inneee a'oozu bika an as'alaka maa laisa lee bihee 'ilmunw wa illaa taghfir lee wa tarhamneee akum minal khaasireen
نوح نے کہا میرے پالنہار میں تیری ہی پناه چاہتا ہوں اس بات سے کہ تجھ سے وه مانگوں جس کا مجھے علم ہی نہ ہو اگر تو مجھے نہ بخشے گا اور تو مجھ پر رحم نہ فرمائے گا، تو میں خساره پانے والوں میں ہو جاؤں گا۔(1)

قِيلَ يَٰنُوحُ ٱهۡبِطۡ بِسَلَٰمٖ مِّنَّا وَبَرَكَٰتٍ عَلَيۡكَ وَعَلَىٰٓ أُمَمٖ مِّمَّن مَّعَكَۚ وَأُمَمٞ سَنُمَتِّعُهُمۡ ثُمَّ يَمَسُّهُم مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ

Qeela yaa Noohuh bit bisalaamim minnaa wa barakaatin 'alaika wa 'alaaa umamim mimmam ma'ak; wa umamun sanumatti'uhum summa yamassuhum minna 'azaabun aleem
فرما دیا گیا کہ اے نوح! ہماری جانب سے سلامتی اور ان برکتوں کے ساتھ اتر(1) ، جو تجھ پر ہیں اور تیرے ساتھ کی بہت سی جماعتوں پر(2) اور بہت سی وه امتیں ہوں گی جنہیں ہم فائده تو ضرور پہنچائیں گے لیکن پھر انہیں ہماری طرف سے دردناک عذاب پہنچے گا۔(3)

آیت 49 میں سے 123

تِلۡكَ مِنۡ أَنۢبَآءِ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ نُوحِيهَآ إِلَيۡكَۖ مَا كُنتَ تَعۡلَمُهَآ أَنتَ وَلَا قَوۡمُكَ مِن قَبۡلِ هَٰذَاۖ فَٱصۡبِرۡۖ إِنَّ ٱلۡعَٰقِبَةَ لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ

Tilka min ambaaa'il ghaibi nooheehaaa ilaika maa kunta ta'lamuhaaaa anta wa laa qawmuka min qabli haazaa fasbir innal 'aaqibata lilmuttaqeen
یہ خبریں غیب کی خبروں میں سے ہیں جن کی وحی ہم آپ کی طرف کرتے ہیں انہیں اس سے پہلے آپ جانتے تھے اور نہ آپ کی قوم(1) ، اس لئے آپ صبر کرتے رہیئے (یقین مانیئے) کہ انجام کار پرہیزگاروں کے لئے ہی ہے۔(2)

آیت 50 میں سے 123

وَإِلَىٰ عَادٍ أَخَاهُمۡ هُودٗاۚ قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنۡ إِلَٰهٍ غَيۡرُهُۥٓۖ إِنۡ أَنتُمۡ إِلَّا مُفۡتَرُونَ

Wa ilaa 'aadin akhaahum Hoodaa; qaala yaa qawmi' budul laaha maa lakum min ilaahin ghairuhooo in antum illaa muftaroon
اور قوم عاد کی طرف ان کے بھائی ہود کو ہم(1) نے بھیجا، اس نے کہا میری قوم والو! اللہ ہی کی عبادت کرو، اس کے سوا تمہارا کوئی معبود نہیں، تم تو صرف بہتان باندھ رہے ہو۔(2)

According to the Glorious Quran, Surah Hud is the 11th chapter (surah). Surah Hud has 123 ayaat (verses) and was revealed in Makkah before Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) migrated to Medina. There are two parts to this surah: 11th juz contains verses 1-5 and 12th juz contains verses 6-12.

This Surah was revealed during the latter period of the Prophet's time in Makkah, and likely straight after Surah Yunus. Allah is the One Who nourishes and sustains all beings. The Qur'an contains the direct Word of Allah and is not fabricated by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Different styles of lectures from Nuh, Hud, Saleh, Lut and Shu'aib were given to their people who rejected the prophets' messages that brought them misfortune. Through this Surah, Allah has taught us virtuousness that will eliminate wickedness, also granting man freedom to choose whether to believe or not.

This Surah emphasizes the importance of accepting Allah's message, obeying the Prophet, and discarding shirk. People should live with the knowledge that they will be held accountable for their actions on the Day of Judgement. It serves as a warning to those who put their faith in worldly life and reject the Prophets' messages, for they often face unpleasant consequences. Furthermore, one should not be deceived by a delay in punishment - it is only a grace from Allah to give them respite and time to mend their ways. As exemplified by the stories of Nuh, Hud, Saleh, Lut, Shu'aib and Musa in Al-Qur'an, Allah does not spare any disbeliever even if they happen to be close relatives of a Prophet. The stories of Nuh and Lut also demonstrate that one's relationship should revolve around faith rather than earthly ties.
