Ayah 6

وَإِذَا ٱلۡبِحَارُ سُجِّرَتۡ

6. And when the seas are kindled [5].

Surah Name : At-Takweer   Surah Number : 81   Ayat Number: 6

Ayah 3

وَإِذَا ٱلۡبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتۡ

3. And when the seas are flowed [1] away.

Surah Name : Al-Infitar   Surah Number : 82   Ayat Number: 3

Ayah 26

خِتَٰمُهُۥ مِسۡكٞۚ وَفِي ذَٰلِكَ فَلۡيَتَنَافَسِ ٱلۡمُتَنَٰفِسُونَ

26. Its seal emits best flavour and for this let the aspirants aspire

Surah Name : Al-Mutaffifeen   Surah Number : 83   Ayat Number: 26

Ayah 19

مَرَجَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَيۡنِ يَلۡتَقِيَانِ

19. He had made the two seas [18] to flow, looking joined.

Surah Name : Ar-Rahman   Surah Number : 55   Ayat Number: 19

Ayah 24

وَلَهُ ٱلۡجَوَارِ ٱلۡمُنشَـَٔاتُ فِي ٱلۡبَحۡرِ كَٱلۡأَعۡلَٰمِ

24. And His are the lofty ships raised [22] up in the sea like mountains [23].

Surah Name : Ar-Rahman   Surah Number : 55   Ayat Number: 24

Ayah 65

ٱلۡيَوۡمَ نَخۡتِمُ عَلَىٰٓ أَفۡوَٰهِهِمۡ وَتُكَلِّمُنَآ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ وَتَشۡهَدُ أَرۡجُلُهُم بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ

65. This day We shall set a seal [96] on their mouths and their hearts will talk to us and their feet will bear witness [97] of their doings.

Ayah 164

إِنَّ فِي خَلۡقِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَٱخۡتِلَٰفِ ٱلَّيۡلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ وَٱلۡفُلۡكِ ٱلَّتِي تَجۡرِي فِي ٱلۡبَحۡرِ بِمَا يَنفَعُ ٱلنَّاسَ وَمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مِن مَّآءٖ فَأَحۡيَا بِهِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِهَا وَبَثَّ فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ دَآبَّةٖ وَتَصۡرِيفِ ٱلرِّيَٰحِ وَٱلسَّحَابِ ٱلۡمُسَخَّرِ بَيۡنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّقَوۡمٖ يَعۡقِلُونَ

164. Surely, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night [344] and the day, and in the great ships, which sail through the sea with that which benefits people [345], and in the water that Allah sends down from the sky [346], and giving life to the earth after its death [347], and dispersing on the earth every kind of creature, and in the veering of the winds and the clouds controlled between the heavens and the earth [348]. Surely, in all these are signs for those who are wise [349].

Surah Name : Al-Baqarah   Surah Number : 2   Ayat Number: 164

Ayah 60

وَإِذۡ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِفَتَىٰهُ لَآ أَبۡرَحُ حَتَّىٰٓ أَبۡلُغَ مَجۡمَعَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَيۡنِ أَوۡ أَمۡضِيَ حُقُبٗا

60 And recall when Musa [Moses] [142] said to his servant [143], "I shall not desist until I reach the meeting point of the two seas [144], or I will continue for ages [145]."

Ayah 61

فَلَمَّا بَلَغَا مَجۡمَعَ بَيۡنِهِمَا نَسِيَا حُوتَهُمَا فَٱتَّخَذَ سَبِيلَهُۥ فِي ٱلۡبَحۡرِ سَرَبٗا

61. Then when they both reached the meeting place of the two seas, they forgot their fish [146], and it made its way into the sea, creating an underground passage [147].

Ayah 63

قَالَ أَرَءَيۡتَ إِذۡ أَوَيۡنَآ إِلَى ٱلصَّخۡرَةِ فَإِنِّي نَسِيتُ ٱلۡحُوتَ وَمَآ أَنسَىٰنِيهُ إِلَّا ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ أَنۡ أَذۡكُرَهُۥۚ وَٱتَّخَذَ سَبِيلَهُۥ فِي ٱلۡبَحۡرِ عَجَبٗا

63. He said, “Do you remember when we took refuge at the rock? Indeed, I forgot the fish, and Satan made me forget [149] to mention it. It took its path in the sea in a remarkable manner.”

Surah Name : Al-Kahf   Surah Number : 18   Ayat Number: 63

Ayah 79

أَمَّا ٱلسَّفِينَةُ فَكَانَتۡ لِمَسَٰكِينَ يَعۡمَلُونَ فِي ٱلۡبَحۡرِ فَأَرَدتُّ أَنۡ أَعِيبَهَا وَكَانَ وَرَآءَهُم مَّلِكٞ يَأۡخُذُ كُلَّ سَفِينَةٍ غَصۡبٗا

79. As for the boat, it belonged to poor people [179] who worked at sea. I intended to make it faulty [180] because there was a king behind them who seized every intact boat by force [181].

Ayah 109

قُل لَّوۡ كَانَ ٱلۡبَحۡرُ مِدَادٗا لِّكَلِمَٰتِ رَبِّي لَنَفِدَ ٱلۡبَحۡرُ قَبۡلَ أَن تَنفَدَ كَلِمَٰتُ رَبِّي وَلَوۡ جِئۡنَا بِمِثۡلِهِۦ مَدَدٗا

109. Say, "If the sea were ink for the words of my Lord, the sea would surely be exhausted before the words of my Lord come to an end [235], even if We brought the like of it to help [236]."

Ayah 6

وَٱلۡبَحۡرِ ٱلۡمَسۡجُورِ

6.And by the burning sea [5].

Ayah 40

أَوۡ كَظُلُمَٰتٖ فِي بَحۡرٖ لُّجِّيّٖ يَغۡشَىٰهُ مَوۡجٞ مِّن فَوۡقِهِۦ مَوۡجٞ مِّن فَوۡقِهِۦ سَحَابٞۚ ظُلُمَٰتُۢ بَعۡضُهَا فَوۡقَ بَعۡضٍ إِذَآ أَخۡرَجَ يَدَهُۥ لَمۡ يَكَدۡ يَرَىٰهَاۗ وَمَن لَّمۡ يَجۡعَلِ ٱللَّهُ لَهُۥ نُورٗا فَمَا لَهُۥ مِن نُّورٍ

40. Or it is like the darkness in a deep sea, above which is a wave, above the wave another wave, and above which are clouds; there are layers of darkness one upon the other. When he puts out his hand, it seems not to be visible [110]. And to whom Allah gives not light, for him there is no light anywhere [111].

Surah Name : An-Nur   Surah Number : 24   Ayat Number: 40

Ayah 100

أَوَلَمۡ يَهۡدِ لِلَّذِينَ يَرِثُونَ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ أَهۡلِهَآ أَن لَّوۡ نَشَآءُ أَصَبۡنَٰهُم بِذُنُوبِهِمۡۚ وَنَطۡبَعُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا يَسۡمَعُونَ

100. And did it not guide those who inherited the land after its people [234], that if We willed, We would afflict them for their sins? And We put a seal upon their hearts [235], so that they do not hear.

Surah Name : Al-Araf   Surah Number : 7   Ayat Number: 100

Ayah 101

تِلۡكَ ٱلۡقُرَىٰ نَقُصُّ عَلَيۡكَ مِنۡ أَنۢبَآئِهَاۚ وَلَقَدۡ جَآءَتۡهُمۡ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ فَمَا كَانُواْ لِيُؤۡمِنُواْ بِمَا كَذَّبُواْ مِن قَبۡلُۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يَطۡبَعُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ

101. These are the towns, the news of which We relate to you [236]. And indeed, there came to them their Messengers with clear signs, but they were not able to believe what they had first rejected [237]. Thus, Allah sealed the hearts of the disbelievers [238].

Surah Name : Al-Araf   Surah Number : 7   Ayat Number: 101

Ayah 16

وَمِنۡهُم مَّن يَسۡتَمِعُ إِلَيۡكَ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا خَرَجُواْ مِنۡ عِندِكَ قَالُواْ لِلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡعِلۡمَ مَاذَا قَالَ ءَانِفًاۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ طَبَعَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمۡ وَٱتَّبَعُوٓاْ أَهۡوَآءَهُمۡ

16.And among them are some who listen [42], so you tell them when they go forth from before you saying to the men of learning [43]: "What has he said (44) just now?" These are they upon whose hearts Allah has set a seal (45) and they follow their own evil inclinations (46).

Surah Name : Muhammad   Surah Number : 47   Ayat Number: 16

Ayah 14

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِي سَخَّرَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَ لِتَأۡكُلُواْ مِنۡهُ لَحۡمٗا طَرِيّٗا وَتَسۡتَخۡرِجُواْ مِنۡهُ حِلۡيَةٗ تَلۡبَسُونَهَاۖ وَتَرَى ٱلۡفُلۡكَ مَوَاخِرَ فِيهِ وَلِتَبۡتَغُواْ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُونَ

14. And it is He who has made the sea subservient [26] to you so that you may eat fresh meat [27] from it and extract from it ornaments which you wear [28]. And you see the ships plowing through it [29], and that you may seek of His bounty and perhaps you may be grateful [30].

Surah Name : An-Nahl   Surah Number : 16   Ayat Number: 14

Ayah 108

أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ طَبَعَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمۡ وَسَمۡعِهِمۡ وَأَبۡصَٰرِهِمۡۖ وَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡغَٰفِلُونَ

108. Those are the ones upon whose hearts and ears Allah has placed a seal [244], and their eyes are covered. It is they who are heedless.

Surah Name : An-Nahl   Surah Number : 16   Ayat Number: 108

Ayah 61

أَمَّن جَعَلَ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ قَرَارٗا وَجَعَلَ خِلَٰلَهَآ أَنۡهَٰرٗا وَجَعَلَ لَهَا رَوَٰسِيَ وَجَعَلَ بَيۡنَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَيۡنِ حَاجِزًاۗ أَءِلَٰهٞ مَّعَ ٱللَّهِۚ بَلۡ أَكۡثَرُهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ

61. Or He Who made the earth for habitation [117] and set amidst it streams and made for it anchors [118] (mountain) and a barrier (119) between the two seas. Is there any other god along with Allah? Nay! Most of them know not (120)
