Ayah 63

أَمَّن يَهۡدِيكُمۡ فِي ظُلُمَٰتِ ٱلۡبَرِّ وَٱلۡبَحۡرِ وَمَن يُرۡسِلُ ٱلرِّيَٰحَ بُشۡرَۢا بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡ رَحۡمَتِهِۦٓۗ أَءِلَٰهٞ مَّعَ ٱللَّهِۚ تَعَٰلَى ٱللَّهُ عَمَّا يُشۡرِكُونَ

63. Or He Who guides you in the darkness of the land and the sea [123] and He Who sends the winds bearing good tidings before His Mercy [124]? Is there any other god along with Allah? Exalted is Allah above what they associate with Him.

Surah Name : An-Naml   Surah Number : 27   Ayat Number: 63

Ayah 63

فَأَوۡحَيۡنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنِ ٱضۡرِب بِّعَصَاكَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَۖ فَٱنفَلَقَ فَكَانَ كُلُّ فِرۡقٖ كَٱلطَّوۡدِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ

63. Then We revealed to Moses: Strike the sea with your staff. Hence, the sea was parted [70], and every part was like a big mountain [71].

Ayah 66

رَّبُّكُمُ ٱلَّذِي يُزۡجِي لَكُمُ ٱلۡفُلۡكَ فِي ٱلۡبَحۡرِ لِتَبۡتَغُواْ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦٓۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ بِكُمۡ رَحِيمٗا

66. Your Lord is the One who drives the ship for you in the sea, that you may seek of His bounty [146]. Indeed, He is ever Merciful towards you.

Ayah 67

وَإِذَا مَسَّكُمُ ٱلضُّرُّ فِي ٱلۡبَحۡرِ ضَلَّ مَن تَدۡعُونَ إِلَّآ إِيَّاهُۖ فَلَمَّا نَجَّىٰكُمۡ إِلَى ٱلۡبَرِّ أَعۡرَضۡتُمۡۚ وَكَانَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ كَفُورًا

67. And when adversity touches you at sea, all those you call upon vanish [147] except Him. But when He delivers you to the land, you turn away. And man is very ungrateful [148].

Ayah 69

أَمۡ أَمِنتُمۡ أَن يُعِيدَكُمۡ فِيهِ تَارَةً أُخۡرَىٰ فَيُرۡسِلَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ قَاصِفٗا مِّنَ ٱلرِّيحِ فَيُغۡرِقَكُم بِمَا كَفَرۡتُمۡ ثُمَّ لَا تَجِدُواْ لَكُمۡ عَلَيۡنَا بِهِۦ تَبِيعٗا

69. Or have you become secure that He will not return you to the sea a second time [151], and send upon you a violent storm of wind that will drown you for your disbelief? Then you will not find for yourselves any avenger against Us [152].

Ayah 70

۞وَلَقَدۡ كَرَّمۡنَا بَنِيٓ ءَادَمَ وَحَمَلۡنَٰهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡبَرِّ وَٱلۡبَحۡرِ وَرَزَقۡنَٰهُم مِّنَ ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ وَفَضَّلۡنَٰهُمۡ عَلَىٰ كَثِيرٖ مِّمَّنۡ خَلَقۡنَا تَفۡضِيلٗا

70. And We have certainly honored the children of Adam [153], and carried them on land and sea [154], and provided them with good things [155], and preferred them over many of Our creation [156].

Ayah 27

وَلَوۡ أَنَّمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مِن شَجَرَةٍ أَقۡلَٰمٞ وَٱلۡبَحۡرُ يَمُدُّهُۥ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦ سَبۡعَةُ أَبۡحُرٖ مَّا نَفِدَتۡ كَلِمَٰتُ ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٞ

27.And if all the trees in the earth were made pens, and the seas were ink, with seven [60] more seas added after it, the Words of Allah would not be exhausted [61]. Indeed, Allah is Honourable, Wise.

Surah Name : Luqman   Surah Number : 31   Ayat Number: 27

Ayah 97

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلنُّجُومَ لِتَهۡتَدُواْ بِهَا فِي ظُلُمَٰتِ ٱلۡبَرِّ وَٱلۡبَحۡرِۗ قَدۡ فَصَّلۡنَا ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ لِقَوۡمٖ يَعۡلَمُونَ

97. And it is He Who has made the stars for you that you may find the way in the darkness [209] of the land and the sea. We have explained the signs in detail for a people who know [210].

Surah Name : Al-Anam   Surah Number : 6   Ayat Number: 97

Ayah 63

قُلۡ مَن يُنَجِّيكُم مِّن ظُلُمَٰتِ ٱلۡبَرِّ وَٱلۡبَحۡرِ تَدۡعُونَهُۥ تَضَرُّعٗا وَخُفۡيَةٗ لَّئِنۡ أَنجَىٰنَا مِنۡ هَٰذِهِۦ لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلشَّـٰكِرِينَ

63. Say, "Who delivers you from the darkness of the land and the sea, when you call upon Him in humility and secretly [128], saying, 'If He saves us from this, we shall certainly be among the grateful'?"

Surah Name : Al-Anam   Surah Number : 6   Ayat Number: 63

Ayah 96

أُحِلَّ لَكُمۡ صَيۡدُ ٱلۡبَحۡرِ وَطَعَامُهُۥ مَتَٰعٗا لَّكُمۡ وَلِلسَّيَّارَةِۖ وَحُرِّمَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ صَيۡدُ ٱلۡبَرِّ مَا دُمۡتُمۡ حُرُمٗاۗ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ ٱلَّذِيٓ إِلَيۡهِ تُحۡشَرُونَ

96. Lawful to you is the game of the sea (fishing) [265], and its eating for you and the travellers. And forbidden to you is the game of the land, as long as you are in all Ihraam [266]. And fear Allah towards Whom you are going to rise.

Ayah 41

ظَهَرَ ٱلۡفَسَادُ فِي ٱلۡبَرِّ وَٱلۡبَحۡرِ بِمَا كَسَبَتۡ أَيۡدِي ٱلنَّاسِ لِيُذِيقَهُم بَعۡضَ ٱلَّذِي عَمِلُواْ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَرۡجِعُونَ

41.The mischief has appeared on the land and in the sea because of the evils earned by the hands [90] of man, so that He may make them taste [91] some of their doings, that they may turn back (92),

Surah Name : Ar-Rum   Surah Number : 30   Ayat Number: 41

Ayah 32

ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَأَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءٗ فَأَخۡرَجَ بِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ رِزۡقٗا لَّكُمۡۖ وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلۡفُلۡكَ لِتَجۡرِيَ فِي ٱلۡبَحۡرِ بِأَمۡرِهِۦۖ وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرَ

32. Allah is the One who created the heavens and the earth and sent down from the sky water [69], then brought forth with it fruits as sustenance for you [70]. He has made the ships subservient to you to sail through the sea by His command [71], and He has made the rivers subservient to you.

Surah Name : Ibrahim   Surah Number : 14   Ayat Number: 32

Ayah 22

هُوَ ٱلَّذِي يُسَيِّرُكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡبَرِّ وَٱلۡبَحۡرِۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا كُنتُمۡ فِي ٱلۡفُلۡكِ وَجَرَيۡنَ بِهِم بِرِيحٖ طَيِّبَةٖ وَفَرِحُواْ بِهَا جَآءَتۡهَا رِيحٌ عَاصِفٞ وَجَآءَهُمُ ٱلۡمَوۡجُ مِن كُلِّ مَكَانٖ وَظَنُّوٓاْ أَنَّهُمۡ أُحِيطَ بِهِمۡ دَعَوُاْ ٱللَّهَ مُخۡلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ لَئِنۡ أَنجَيۡتَنَا مِنۡ هَٰذِهِۦ لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلشَّـٰكِرِينَ

22. It is He Who conveys you on the land and sea until you are in the ships and they sail with a fair breeze, and they rejoice thereby [64]. Then there comes upon them a violent wind and the waves from every side overtake them, and they think that they are encircled. Then at that time they call upon Allah, being sincere in their faith to Him [65], saying, "If You save us from this, we shall surely be among the thankful [66]."

Surah Name : Yunus   Surah Number : 10   Ayat Number: 22

Ayah 90

۞وَجَٰوَزۡنَا بِبَنِيٓ إِسۡرَـٰٓءِيلَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَ فَأَتۡبَعَهُمۡ فِرۡعَوۡنُ وَجُنُودُهُۥ بَغۡيٗا وَعَدۡوًاۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَآ أَدۡرَكَهُ ٱلۡغَرَقُ قَالَ ءَامَنتُ أَنَّهُۥ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِيٓ ءَامَنَتۡ بِهِۦ بَنُوٓاْ إِسۡرَـٰٓءِيلَ وَأَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلۡمُسۡلِمِينَ

90. And We led the Children of Israel across the sea [239]. Then Pharaoh and his armies pursued them with aggression and enmity until drowning overtook him [241]. He said, "I believe that there is no deity except the one whom the Children of Israel believe in [242], and I am among the Muslims [243]."

Surah Name : Yunus   Surah Number : 10   Ayat Number: 90

Ayah 53

۞وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِي مَرَجَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَيۡنِ هَٰذَا عَذۡبٞ فُرَاتٞ وَهَٰذَا مِلۡحٌ أُجَاجٞ وَجَعَلَ بَيۡنَهُمَا بَرۡزَخٗا وَحِجۡرٗا مَّحۡجُورٗا

53.And it is He Who has let free two seas meeting; this one is fresh and sweet, and that one is salty and bitter. And He has placed between them a barrier and a forbidding partition [97].

Surah Name : Al-Furqan   Surah Number : 25   Ayat Number: 53

Ayah 40

فَأَخَذۡنَٰهُ وَجُنُودَهُۥ فَنَبَذۡنَٰهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡيَمِّ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٞ

40.So, seizing him and his forces We threw them into the sea in a condition that he was blaming [45] himself.

Surah Name : Adh-Dhariyat   Surah Number : 51   Ayat Number: 40

Ayah 3

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ ءَامَنُواْ ثُمَّ كَفَرُواْ فَطُبِعَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا يَفۡقَهُونَ

3.That is because they believe, then disbelieve [8]. So a seal is set upon their hearts that they do not understand [9].

Surah Name : Al-Munafiqun   Surah Number : 63   Ayat Number: 3

Ayah 12

وَمَا يَسۡتَوِي ٱلۡبَحۡرَانِ هَٰذَا عَذۡبٞ فُرَاتٞ سَآئِغٞ شَرَابُهُۥ وَهَٰذَا مِلۡحٌ أُجَاجٞۖ وَمِن كُلّٖ تَأۡكُلُونَ لَحۡمٗا طَرِيّٗا وَتَسۡتَخۡرِجُونَ حِلۡيَةٗ تَلۡبَسُونَهَاۖ وَتَرَى ٱلۡفُلۡكَ فِيهِ مَوَاخِرَ لِتَبۡتَغُواْ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُونَ

12.And the two seas are not alike [40], One is palatable, sweet and pleasant [41] to drink, and the other is salty (42), to bitter. And from each you eat fresh meat and take out ornaments (43) to wear. And you see the ships therein, cleaving (44) the water so that you may seek (45) His Bounty and that you be grateful.

Surah Name : Fatir   Surah Number : 35   Ayat Number: 12

Ayah 55

فِي مَقۡعَدِ صِدۡقٍ عِندَ مَلِيكٖ مُّقۡتَدِرِۭ

55. On a seat of truth, in the presence of the Most Powerful Sovereign [72].

Surah Name : Al-Qamar   Surah Number : 54   Ayat Number: 55

Ayah 12

۞ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلۡبَحۡرَ لِتَجۡرِيَ ٱلۡفُلۡكُ فِيهِ بِأَمۡرِهِۦ وَلِتَبۡتَغُواْ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُونَ

12.It is Allah Who has subjected to you the sea that the ships may run on it by His Command, and that you may seek [21] His Bounty, and that you may be grateful.
