Verset 101 sur 165

بَدِيعُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لَهُۥ وَلَدٞ وَلَمۡ تَكُن لَّهُۥ صَٰحِبَةٞۖ وَخَلَقَ كُلَّ شَيۡءٖۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيۡءٍ عَلِيمٞ

Badee'us samaawaati wal ardi annnaa yakoonu lahoo waladunw wa lam takul lahoo saahibatunw wa khalaqa kulla shain'inw wa Huwa bikulli shai'in 'Aleem
101. Créateur Originel[175] des cieux et de la terre, comment, quand Il n’a pas de compagne, aurait-Il un enfant ? C’est Lui Qui a créé Toute chose et de Toute chose Il est Savant.[176]

Verset 102 sur 165

ذَٰلِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّكُمۡۖ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۖ خَٰلِقُ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ فَٱعۡبُدُوهُۚ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ وَكِيلٞ

Zaalikumul laahu Rabbukum laaa ilaaha illaa huwa khaaliqu kulli shai'in fa'budooh; wa huwa 'alaa kulli shai'inw Wakeel
102. Tel est Allah, votre Seigneur, point d’autre divinité que Lui ! Créateur de Toute chose ! Adorez-Le donc, c’est Lui qui, de Toute chose, est Garant.

Verset 103 sur 165

لَّا تُدۡرِكُهُ ٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرُ وَهُوَ يُدۡرِكُ ٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرَۖ وَهُوَ ٱللَّطِيفُ ٱلۡخَبِيرُ

Laa tudrikuhul absaaru wa Huwa yudrikul absaara wa huwal Lateeful Khabeer
103. Nul regard ne peut L’atteindre quand Lui peut atteindre tous les regards. Il est le Subtil, l’Informé.

Verset 104 sur 165

قَدۡ جَآءَكُم بَصَآئِرُ مِن رَّبِّكُمۡۖ فَمَنۡ أَبۡصَرَ فَلِنَفۡسِهِۦۖ وَمَنۡ عَمِيَ فَعَلَيۡهَاۚ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ عَلَيۡكُم بِحَفِيظٖ

Qad jaaa'akum basaaa'iru mir Rabbikum faman absara falinafsihee wa man 'amiya fa'alaihaa; wa maaa ana 'alaikum bihafeez
104. Il vous est venu des Indices éclatants de votre Seigneur. Alors, quiconque voit clair, ce sera dans son propre intérêt, et quiconque se fait aveugle, ce sera à ses dépens, car je ne puis (moi Muhammad) assurer votre protection.

Verset 105 sur 165

وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُصَرِّفُ ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ وَلِيَقُولُواْ دَرَسۡتَ وَلِنُبَيِّنَهُۥ لِقَوۡمٖ يَعۡلَمُونَ

Wa kazaalika nusarriful Aayaati wa liyaqooloo darasta wa linubaiyinahoo liqawminy ya'lamoon
105. Ainsi donc varions-Nous les versets, afin qu’ils disent : « Tu as étudié cela »[177], et pour l’expliquer à des gens qui savent.

Verset 106 sur 165

ٱتَّبِعۡ مَآ أُوحِيَ إِلَيۡكَ مِن رَّبِّكَۖ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۖ وَأَعۡرِضۡ عَنِ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ

ittabi' maaa oohiya ilaika mir Rabbika laaa ilaaha illaa Huwa wa a'rid 'anil mushrikeen
106. Suis donc ce qui t’est révélé par ton Seigneur. Point d’autre divinité que Lui ! Et détourne-toi des associâtres.

Verset 107 sur 165

وَلَوۡ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مَآ أَشۡرَكُواْۗ وَمَا جَعَلۡنَٰكَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ حَفِيظٗاۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ عَلَيۡهِم بِوَكِيلٖ

Wa law shaaa'al laahu maaa ashrakoo; wa maa ja'alnaaka 'alaihim hafeezanw wa maaa anta 'alaihim biwakeel
107. Et si Allah l’avait voulu, ils ne Lui auraient rien associé. Nous ne t’avons point chargé d’être leur gardien et tu n’es point leur garant.

Verset 108 sur 165

وَلَا تَسُبُّواْ ٱلَّذِينَ يَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَيَسُبُّواْ ٱللَّهَ عَدۡوَۢا بِغَيۡرِ عِلۡمٖۗ كَذَٰلِكَ زَيَّنَّا لِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ عَمَلَهُمۡ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِم مَّرۡجِعُهُمۡ فَيُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ

Wa laa tasubbul lazeena yad'oona min doonil laahi fa yasubbul laaha 'adwam bighairi 'ilm; kazaalika zaiyannaa likulli ummatin 'amalahum summa ilaa Rabbihim marji'uhum fa yunabbi'uhum bimaa kaanoo ya'maloon
108. N’insultez pas ceux qu’ils invoquent en dehors d’Allah, car hostiles alors ils insulteraient Allah (à leur tour) sans rien en savoir. C’est ainsi que Nous avons embelli, aux yeux de chaque peuple, l’idée qu’il se fait de ses propres œuvres. Puis, c’est vers leur Seigneur que sera leur retour, quand Il les informera de ce qu’ils faisaient.

Verset 109 sur 165

وَأَقۡسَمُواْ بِٱللَّهِ جَهۡدَ أَيۡمَٰنِهِمۡ لَئِن جَآءَتۡهُمۡ ءَايَةٞ لَّيُؤۡمِنُنَّ بِهَاۚ قُلۡ إِنَّمَا ٱلۡأٓيَٰتُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِۖ وَمَا يُشۡعِرُكُمۡ أَنَّهَآ إِذَا جَآءَتۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ

Wa aqsamoo billaahi jahda aimaanihim la'in jaaa'at hum Aayatul la yu'minunna bihaa; qul innamal Aayaatu 'indal laahi wa maa yush'irukum annahaaa izaa jaaa'at laa yu'minoon
109. Ils ont juré par Allah, de leurs serments les plus solennels, que s’il leur venait un Signe providentiel, ils y croiraient fermement. Dis : « Les miracles sont du ressort d’Allah Seul. » Mais qui vous assure que même lorsque les miracles leur seront venus, ils n’y croiront pas pour autant ?

Verset 110 sur 165

وَنُقَلِّبُ أَفۡـِٔدَتَهُمۡ وَأَبۡصَٰرَهُمۡ كَمَا لَمۡ يُؤۡمِنُواْ بِهِۦٓ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٖ وَنَذَرُهُمۡ فِي طُغۡيَٰنِهِمۡ يَعۡمَهُونَ

Wa nuqallibu af'idatahum wa absaarahum kamaa lam yu'minoo biheee awwala marratinw wa nazaruhum fee tughyaanihim ya'mahoon (section 13, End Juz 7)
110. Nous tournons et retournons leurs cœurs et leurs yeux tout comme lorsqu’ils n’ont pas cru la première fois, et Nous les laissons dans leurs rébellion patauger aveuglément.

Tawhid is highly emphasized in this Surah. It contains the basic principles of Tawhid. It provides beautiful descriptions of Allah's creative power. It criticizes Shirk and its manifestations.

  • There is no foundation for polytheism.
