About the surah Fatir  

Fatir (meaning: Originator), also known as Al-Mala'ikaha (ﺍﻟملائكة, 'al-mal''ikah; meaning: "The Angels"), is the 35th chapter (Surah) of the Qur'an with 45 verses (Ayat).

The summary/theme of the surah Fatir: 

Allah tells us that there will be life after the life of this world when everyone will face the consequences of what he has done here. Allah tells us not to be irresponsible in this world, and that we have to account for our actions before Allah.

Lesson learned from surah Fatir: 

  1. Whenever Allah's opens up mercy for someone, there is no one that can stop it.  
  2. When Allah's decides to stop showering His Mercy upon anyone, there is no one else that can shower it instead.  
  3. Shayṭ'n is our open enemy. Let’s treat him like one.  
  4. We are all in severe need of Allah's, whereas Allah's is fully independent of us.  
  5. Allah's’s Promise is true, so let not the world deceive you into thinking and acting otherwise.  
  6. If you give someone a duty to fulfil, give him or her the support they need.

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ فَاطِرِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ جَاعِلِ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ رُسُلًا أُوْلِيٓ أَجۡنِحَةٖ مَّثۡنَىٰ وَثُلَٰثَ وَرُبَٰعَۚ يَزِيدُ فِي ٱلۡخَلۡقِ مَا يَشَآءُۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٞ

Alhamdu lillaahi faatiris samaawaati wal ardi jaa'ilil malaaa'ikati rusulan uleee ajnihatim masnaa wa sulaasa wa rubaa'; yazeedu fil khalqi maa yashaaa'; innal laaha 'alaa kulli shai'in Qadeer
1. ¡Alabado sea Al-lah, Quien creó de la nada los cielos y la tierra, ha hecho de los ángeles mensajeros (entre Él y Sus profetas) y los ha dotado de dos, tres o cuatro alas[827]!Añade lo que quiere a la creación, y Él es Todopoderoso.

مَّا يَفۡتَحِ ٱللَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ مِن رَّحۡمَةٖ فَلَا مُمۡسِكَ لَهَاۖ وَمَا يُمۡسِكۡ فَلَا مُرۡسِلَ لَهُۥ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ

Maa yaftahil laahu linnaaasi mir rahmatin falaa mumsika lahaa wa maa yumsik falaa mursila lahoo mimba'dihi; wa Huwal 'Azeezul Hakeem
2. Nadie puede detener la misericordia que Al-lah envía a los hombres; y la que Él retiene nadie puede dispensarla después. Y Él es el Poderoso, el Sabio.

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ ٱذۡكُرُواْ نِعۡمَتَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيۡكُمۡۚ هَلۡ مِنۡ خَٰلِقٍ غَيۡرُ ٱللَّهِ يَرۡزُقُكُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۖ فَأَنَّىٰ تُؤۡفَكُونَ

Yaaa ayyuhan naasuzkuroo ni'matal laahi 'alaikum; hal min khaaliqin ghairul laahi yarzuqukum minas samaaa'i wal ard; laaa ilaaha illaa Huwa fa annaa tu'fakoon
3. ¡Oh, gentes!, recordad los favores que Al-lah os ha concedido. ¿Hay algún creador fuera de Al-lah que os proporcione sustento del cielo y de la tierra? No existe ninguna divinidad (verdadera) con derecho a ser adorada excepto Él; ¿cómo podéis, pues, apartaros de Él?

Versículo 4 de 10

وَإِن يُكَذِّبُوكَ فَقَدۡ كُذِّبَتۡ رُسُلٞ مِّن قَبۡلِكَۚ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ تُرۡجَعُ ٱلۡأُمُورُ

Wa iny yukazzibooka faqad kuzzibat Rusulum min qablik; wa ilal laahi turja'ul umoor
4. Y si (tu pueblo) te desmiente (¡oh, Muhammad!, recuerda que) otros mensajeros anteriores a ti también fueron desmentidos; y todos los asuntos retornarán a Al-lah (para que decida sobre ellos).

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِنَّ وَعۡدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقّٞۖ فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُم بِٱللَّهِ ٱلۡغَرُورُ

Yaaa ayyuhan naasu inna wa'dal laahi haqqun falaa taghurrannakumul hayaatud dunyaa; wa laa yaghurran nakum billaahil gharoor
5. ¡Oh, gentes!, la promesa de Al-lah es cierta. No os dejéis seducir por la vida mundanal ni por el seductor (del Demonio porque os apartaríais del camino de Al-lah).

إِنَّ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنَ لَكُمۡ عَدُوّٞ فَٱتَّخِذُوهُ عَدُوًّاۚ إِنَّمَا يَدۡعُواْ حِزۡبَهُۥ لِيَكُونُواْ مِنۡ أَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ

Innash shaitaana lakum 'aduwwun fattakhizoohu 'aduwwaa; innamaa yad'oo hizbahoo liyakoonoo min ashaabis sa'eer
6. Ciertamente, el Demonio es un enemigo vuestro; tomadlo, pues, como el enemigo que es. Él invita a quienes lo siguen a ser de los habitantes del fuego abrasador.

Versículo 7 de 10

ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ شَدِيدٞۖ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُم مَّغۡفِرَةٞ وَأَجۡرٞ كَبِيرٌ

Allazeena kafaroo lahum 'azaabun shadeed; wallazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati lahum maghfiratunw wa ajrun kabeer (section 1)
7. Quienes hayan rechazado la verdad tendrán un severo castigo; y quienes hayan creído y obrado rectamente obtendrán el perdón (de Al-lah) y una gran recompensa.

أَفَمَن زُيِّنَ لَهُۥ سُوٓءُ عَمَلِهِۦ فَرَءَاهُ حَسَنٗاۖ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُضِلُّ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَهۡدِي مَن يَشَآءُۖ فَلَا تَذۡهَبۡ نَفۡسُكَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ حَسَرَٰتٍۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمُۢ بِمَا يَصۡنَعُونَ

Afaman zuyyina lahoo sooo'u 'amalihee fara aahu hasanaa; fa innal laaha yudillu mai yashaaa'u wa yahdee mai yashaaa'u falaa tazhab nafsuka 'alaihim hasaraat; innal laaha 'aleemun bimaa yasna'oon
8. ¿Acaso quien se ha dejado seducir por sus malas acciones hasta verlas como buenas (puede compararse con quien Al-lah ha guiado)? Al-lah extravía a quien quiere (por rechazar la verdad) y guía a quien quiere. Y no te consumas de pesar por ellos (¡oh, Muhammad!); Al-lah sabe bien lo que hacen.

Versículo 9 de 10

وَٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَرۡسَلَ ٱلرِّيَٰحَ فَتُثِيرُ سَحَابٗا فَسُقۡنَٰهُ إِلَىٰ بَلَدٖ مَّيِّتٖ فَأَحۡيَيۡنَا بِهِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِهَاۚ كَذَٰلِكَ ٱلنُّشُورُ

Wallaahul lazeee arsalar riyaaha fatuseeru sa haaban fasuqnaahu ilaa baladim maiyitin fa ahyaynaa bihil arda ba'da mawtihaa; kazaalikan nushoor
9. Al-lah es Quien envía los vientos que forman nubes. Después las conduce hacia un país árido y revive la tierra tras su muerte (mediante la lluvia). Así será la resurrección.

مَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ ٱلۡعِزَّةَ فَلِلَّهِ ٱلۡعِزَّةُ جَمِيعًاۚ إِلَيۡهِ يَصۡعَدُ ٱلۡكَلِمُ ٱلطَّيِّبُ وَٱلۡعَمَلُ ٱلصَّـٰلِحُ يَرۡفَعُهُۥۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ يَمۡكُرُونَ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ شَدِيدٞۖ وَمَكۡرُ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُوَ يَبُورُ

Man kaana yureedul 'izzata falillaahil 'izzatu jamee'aa; ilaihi yas'adul kalimut taiyibu wal'amalus saalihu yarfa'uh; wallazeena yamkuroonas sayyiaati lahum 'azaabun shadeed; wa makru ulaaa'ika huwa yaboor
10. Quien quiera poder y gloria (que sepa que) todo el poder y la gloria pertenecen a Al-lah (y que solo pueden conseguirlos obedeciéndolo a Él). A Él ascienden las buenas palabras[828] y enaltece las buenas acciones (de los hombres). Y quienes tramen cualquier mala acción tendrán un severo castigo y sus planes se desmoronarán.
