Ayah 131

ذَٰلِكَ أَن لَّمۡ يَكُن رَّبُّكَ مُهۡلِكَ ٱلۡقُرَىٰ بِظُلۡمٖ وَأَهۡلُهَا غَٰفِلُونَ

131. This is so because your Lord does not destroy the towns unjustly [291], while their people are unaware [292].

Surah Name : Al-Anam   Surah Number : 6   Ayat Number: 131

Ayah 88

ذَٰلِكَ هُدَى ٱللَّهِ يَهۡدِي بِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِۦۚ وَلَوۡ أَشۡرَكُواْ لَحَبِطَ عَنۡهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ

88. This is the guidance of Allah. He grants guidance to whomever He wills [175] from among His servants. But if they had associated others with Him in worship, surely all their deeds would have been rendered worthless [176].

Ayah 47

قُلۡ أَرَءَيۡتَكُمۡ إِنۡ أَتَىٰكُمۡ عَذَابُ ٱللَّهِ بَغۡتَةً أَوۡ جَهۡرَةً هَلۡ يُهۡلَكُ إِلَّا ٱلۡقَوۡمُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ

47. Say, "Have you considered: if the punishment of Allah should come to you suddenly or openly, will anyone be destroyed except for the unjust people?" [93]

Ayah 6

أَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ كَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِهِم مِّن قَرۡنٖ مَّكَّنَّـٰهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مَا لَمۡ نُمَكِّن لَّكُمۡ وَأَرۡسَلۡنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ عَلَيۡهِم مِّدۡرَارٗا وَجَعَلۡنَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرَ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهِمۡ فَأَهۡلَكۡنَٰهُم بِذُنُوبِهِمۡ وَأَنشَأۡنَا مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡ قَرۡنًا ءَاخَرِينَ

6. Have they not observed [11] how many generations We have destroyed before them? We had established them on the earth with that which We did not establish for you [12], and We sent the sky upon them with abundant rain and made rivers flow beneath them [13]. Then We destroyed them for their sins and raised up another generation after them [14].

Ayah 53

وَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ أَهَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ ٱلَّذِينَ أَقۡسَمُواْ بِٱللَّهِ جَهۡدَ أَيۡمَٰنِهِمۡ إِنَّهُمۡ لَمَعَكُمۡۚ حَبِطَتۡ أَعۡمَٰلُهُمۡ فَأَصۡبَحُواْ خَٰسِرِينَ

53. And the believers say: "Are these the same people who swore by Allah in their strongest oaths that they were with you? Their deeds have been destroyed [170], and they have become losers."

Surah Name : Al-Maidah   Surah Number : 5   Ayat Number: 53

Ayah 17

لَّقَدۡ كَفَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلۡمَسِيحُ ٱبۡنُ مَرۡيَمَۚ قُلۡ فَمَن يَمۡلِكُ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ شَيۡـًٔا إِنۡ أَرَادَ أَن يُهۡلِكَ ٱلۡمَسِيحَ ٱبۡنَ مَرۡيَمَ وَأُمَّهُۥ وَمَن فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ جَمِيعٗاۗ وَلِلَّهِ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَاۚ يَخۡلُقُ مَا يَشَآءُۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٞ

17. They have certainly become infidels who said: "Messiah son of Mariam is Allah himself" [73]. Please declare: "Who can do anything against Allah if He desires to destroy Messiah, son of Mariam, or his mother and everyone on earth?" [74]. And to Allah belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them. He creates what He pleases. And Allah has the power to do everything.

Surah Name : Al-Maidah   Surah Number : 5   Ayat Number: 17

Ayah 5

ٱلۡيَوۡمَ أُحِلَّ لَكُمُ ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتُۖ وَطَعَامُ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ حِلّٞ لَّكُمۡ وَطَعَامُكُمۡ حِلّٞ لَّهُمۡۖ وَٱلۡمُحۡصَنَٰتُ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِ وَٱلۡمُحۡصَنَٰتُ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ مِن قَبۡلِكُمۡ إِذَآ ءَاتَيۡتُمُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ مُحۡصِنِينَ غَيۡرَ مُسَٰفِحِينَ وَلَا مُتَّخِذِيٓ أَخۡدَانٖۗ وَمَن يَكۡفُرۡ بِٱلۡإِيمَٰنِ فَقَدۡ حَبِطَ عَمَلُهُۥ وَهُوَ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ مِنَ ٱلۡخَٰسِرِينَ

5. This day all good and pure things [31] have been made lawful for you, and the food of the People of the Book is lawful for you [32], and your food is lawful for them. And chaste believing women, and chaste women from among those who were given the Book before you, when you give them their dowries [33], while bringing them in bondage (through marriage) [34], not for lust and neither making a lover (secretly) [35]. And whoever becomes an infidel after being a Muslim, his entire work is destroyed [36], and he is a loser in the Hereafter.

Ayah 17

مَا كَانَ لِلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ أَن يَعۡمُرُواْ مَسَٰجِدَ ٱللَّهِ شَٰهِدِينَ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِهِم بِٱلۡكُفۡرِۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ حَبِطَتۡ أَعۡمَٰلُهُمۡ وَفِي ٱلنَّارِ هُمۡ خَٰلِدُونَ,

17. The polytheists have no right to visit [36] the Mosque of Allah, bearing witness [37] to their infidelity against themselves. Their entire deeds are destroyed [38], and they shall remain in the Fire of Hell forever.

Surah Name : At-Tawbah   Surah Number : 9   Ayat Number: 17

Ayah 13

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لِرُسُلِهِمۡ لَنُخۡرِجَنَّكُم مِّنۡ أَرۡضِنَآ أَوۡ لَتَعُودُنَّ فِي مِلَّتِنَاۖ فَأَوۡحَىٰٓ إِلَيۡهِمۡ رَبُّهُمۡ لَنُهۡلِكَنَّ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

13. And those who disbelieved said to their messengers, “We will certainly drive you out of our land, or you will return [35] to our religion.” Then their Lord revealed to them, “We will surely destroy the wrongdoers.”

Surah Name : Ibrahim   Surah Number : 14   Ayat Number: 13

Ayah 88

وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰ رَبَّنَآ إِنَّكَ ءَاتَيۡتَ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَمَلَأَهُۥ زِينَةٗ وَأَمۡوَٰلٗا فِي ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا رَبَّنَا لِيُضِلُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِكَۖ رَبَّنَا ٱطۡمِسۡ عَلَىٰٓ أَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ وَٱشۡدُدۡ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمۡ فَلَا يُؤۡمِنُواْ حَتَّىٰ يَرَوُاْ ٱلۡعَذَابَ ٱلۡأَلِيمَ

88. Musa said, "O Lord! You have given Pharaoh and his chiefs splendor and wealth in the life of this world [232]. O our Lord! That they may lead people astray [233] from Your Path. O our Lord! Destroy their wealth and harden their hearts [234], so they will not believe until they see the painful punishment [235]."

Surah Name : Yunus   Surah Number : 10   Ayat Number: 88

Ayah 16

أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَيۡسَ لَهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ إِلَّا ٱلنَّارُۖ وَحَبِطَ مَا صَنَعُواْ فِيهَا وَبَٰطِلٞ مَّا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ

16. Those are they for whom there is nothing in the Hereafter except the Fire [36]. And whatever they used to do in it has become worthless, and all their deeds have been rendered void [37].

Surah Name : Hud   Surah Number : 11   Ayat Number: 16

Ayah 117

وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ لِيُهۡلِكَ ٱلۡقُرَىٰ بِظُلۡمٖ وَأَهۡلُهَا مُصۡلِحُونَ

117. And your Lord would not destroy the towns unjustly while their people are reformers [228].

Surah Name : Hud   Surah Number : 11   Ayat Number: 117

Ayah 45

فَكَأَيِّن مِّن قَرۡيَةٍ أَهۡلَكۡنَٰهَا وَهِيَ ظَالِمَةٞ فَهِيَ خَاوِيَةٌ عَلَىٰ عُرُوشِهَا وَبِئۡرٖ مُّعَطَّلَةٖ وَقَصۡرٖ مَّشِيدٍ

45. And how many towns We destroyed [100] that they were unjust, so now they are fallen down on their roofs, [101] and how many wells are lying neglected, and how many places are deserted.

Surah Name : Al-Hajj   Surah Number : 22   Ayat Number: 45

Ayah 26

أَوَلَمۡ يَهۡدِ لَهُمۡ كَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِهِم مِّنَ ٱلۡقُرُونِ يَمۡشُونَ فِي مَسَٰكِنِهِمۡۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٍۚ أَفَلَا يَسۡمَعُونَ

26.And they have not been guided right by this that We have already destroyed many generations before them in whose dwellings they are today walking about. Certainly, in it are signs. Will they not then hear?[52].

Surah Name : As-Sajdah   Surah Number : 32   Ayat Number: 26

Ayah 50

وَأَنَّهُۥٓ أَهۡلَكَ عَادًا ٱلۡأُولَىٰ

50.And that surely it is He Who destroyed the first Aad [60].

Surah Name : An-Najm   Surah Number : 53   Ayat Number: 50

Ayah 46

وَقَوۡمَ نُوحٖ مِّن قَبۡلُۖ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ قَوۡمٗا فَٰسِقِينَ

46 .And We destroyed the people of Nuh before them. Indeed, they were the disobedient [52] people.

Surah Name : Adh-Dhariyat   Surah Number : 51   Ayat Number: 46

Ayah 27

وَلَقَدۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا مَا حَوۡلَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡقُرَىٰ وَصَرَّفۡنَا ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَرۡجِعُونَ

27.And certainly We destroyed the cities [77] around you, and We brought varying signs so that they may return [78] to Us.

Surah Name : Al-Ahqaf   Surah Number : 46   Ayat Number: 27

Ayah 4

وَمَآ أَهۡلَكۡنَا مِن قَرۡيَةٍ إِلَّا وَلَهَا كِتَابٞ مَّعۡلُومٞ

4. And We did not destroy any town except that it had a known decree [6].

Surah Name : Al-Hijr   Surah Number : 15   Ayat Number: 4

Ayah 5

فَأَمَّا ثَمُودُ فَأُهۡلِكُواْ بِٱلطَّاغِيَةِ

5.Then as for the Thamud, they were destroyed by a violent [3] blast.

Surah Name : Al-Haqqah   Surah Number : 69   Ayat Number: 5

Ayah 6

وَأَمَّا عَادٞ فَأُهۡلِكُواْ بِرِيحٖ صَرۡصَرٍ عَاتِيَةٖ

6. And as for the Aad, they were destroyed by a fierce, roaring wind [4].
