Ayah 16

أَلَمۡ نُهۡلِكِ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

16.Did We not destroy the former generations?

Surah Name : Al-Mursalat   Surah Number : 77   Ayat Number: 16

Ayah 51

وَلَقَدۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَآ أَشۡيَاعَكُمۡ فَهَلۡ مِن مُّدَّكِرٖ

51. And certainly We have destroyed [68] people like you. But, is there anyone who will mind to receive warning?

Ayah 36

وَكَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُم مِّن قَرۡنٍ هُمۡ أَشَدُّ مِنۡهُم بَطۡشٗا فَنَقَّبُواْ فِي ٱلۡبِلَٰدِ هَلۡ مِن مَّحِيصٍ

36. How many generations did We destroy before them who were stronger in power than them? So, they ran about in the land [61] (when a penalty was imposed). Was there a place of refuge [62] (for them)?

Ayah 24

وَقَالُواْ مَا هِيَ إِلَّا حَيَاتُنَا ٱلدُّنۡيَا نَمُوتُ وَنَحۡيَا وَمَا يُهۡلِكُنَآ إِلَّا ٱلدَّهۡرُۚ وَمَا لَهُم بِذَٰلِكَ مِنۡ عِلۡمٍۖ إِنۡ هُمۡ إِلَّا يَظُنُّونَ

24. And they say [51]: "It is only our world life in which we die and we live, and none destroys us but time[52]. And they have no knowledge of it. They merely assume (53).

Ayah 34

أَوۡ يُوبِقۡهُنَّ بِمَا كَسَبُواْ وَيَعۡفُ عَن كَثِيرٖ

34.0r. He can destroy them on account of their sins. But there is much that He pardons [98].
