Ayah 57

قَالَ أَجِئۡتَنَا لِتُخۡرِجَنَا مِنۡ أَرۡضِنَا بِسِحۡرِكَ يَٰمُوسَىٰ

57. Firawn said, 'Have you come to us for driving us out from our land by your magic O Musa!' [67]

Surah Name : Ta-Ha   Surah Number : 20   Ayat Number: 57

Ayah 59

قَالَ مَوۡعِدُكُمۡ يَوۡمُ ٱلزِّينَةِ وَأَن يُحۡشَرَ ٱلنَّاسُ ضُحٗى

59. Musa said, 'your promise is for the day of festival [70] and that the people be assembled late after sunrise'? [71]

Ayah 61

قَالَ لَهُم مُّوسَىٰ وَيۡلَكُمۡ لَا تَفۡتَرُواْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبٗا فَيُسۡحِتَكُم بِعَذَابٖۖ وَقَدۡ خَابَ مَنِ ٱفۡتَرَىٰ

61. Musa said to them, woe be to you, forge not a lie against Allah [73] that He may destroy you by torment and indeed, he who forged a lie remained unsuccessful'. [74]

Ayah 65

قَالُواْ يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ إِمَّآ أَن تُلۡقِيَ وَإِمَّآ أَن نَّكُونَ أَوَّلَ مَنۡ أَلۡقَىٰ

65. They said, "O Musa! Either you cast first'. [79]

Ayah 66

قَالَ بَلۡ أَلۡقُواْۖ فَإِذَا حِبَالُهُمۡ وَعِصِيُّهُمۡ يُخَيَّلُ إِلَيۡهِ مِن سِحۡرِهِمۡ أَنَّهَا تَسۡعَىٰ

66. Musa said, may you cast, [80] hence their ropes, and staffs looked to him [81] as though they were running by the strength of their magic,(82) according to his imagination

Ayah 67

فَأَوۡجَسَ فِي نَفۡسِهِۦ خِيفَةٗ مُّوسَىٰ

67. Then Musa got a fear within himself.[83]

Ayah 70

فَأُلۡقِيَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ سُجَّدٗا قَالُوٓاْ ءَامَنَّا بِرَبِّ هَٰرُونَ وَمُوسَىٰ

70. Then all the magicians were made to prostrate [86] they said, ' We believe in him who is the Lord of Musa and Harun'. [87]

Ayah 77

وَلَقَدۡ أَوۡحَيۡنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنۡ أَسۡرِ بِعِبَادِي فَٱضۡرِبۡ لَهُمۡ طَرِيقٗا فِي ٱلۡبَحۡرِ يَبَسٗا لَّا تَخَٰفُ دَرَكٗا وَلَا تَخۡشَىٰ

77. And no doubt, We revealed to Musa that walk away [100] with My bondsmen by night and make a dry way [101] for them in the river. You will have no Firown may overtake nor any danger (102).

Ayah 83

۞وَمَآ أَعۡجَلَكَ عَن قَوۡمِكَ يَٰمُوسَىٰ

83. And what has made you hasten from your people, O Musa [112]?

Ayah 86

فَرَجَعَ مُوسَىٰٓ إِلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِۦ غَضۡبَٰنَ أَسِفٗاۚ قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ أَلَمۡ يَعِدۡكُمۡ رَبُّكُمۡ وَعۡدًا حَسَنًاۚ أَفَطَالَ عَلَيۡكُمُ ٱلۡعَهۡدُ أَمۡ أَرَدتُّمۡ أَن يَحِلَّ عَلَيۡكُمۡ غَضَبٞ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡ فَأَخۡلَفۡتُم مَّوۡعِدِي

86. Then Musa returned full of anger and sorrowful [116] to his people, he said, O my people! Did your Lord not promise [117] a fair promise to you? Did a long time (118) pass on you or did you desire that the anger of your Lord should descend on you, so that you did against my promise' (119).

Ayah 88

فَأَخۡرَجَ لَهُمۡ عِجۡلٗا جَسَدٗا لَّهُۥ خُوَارٞ فَقَالُواْ هَٰذَآ إِلَٰهُكُمۡ وَإِلَٰهُ مُوسَىٰ فَنَسِيَ

88. Then he brought out for them a calf, a life less [124] body lowing, then they said, 'this is your God and the god of Musa, and Musa forgot [125].

Ayah 91

قَالُواْ لَن نَّبۡرَحَ عَلَيۡهِ عَٰكِفِينَ حَتَّىٰ يَرۡجِعَ إِلَيۡنَا مُوسَىٰ

91. They said, 'we shall remain sitting around it firmly until Musa comes back to us' [129].

Ayah 92

قَالَ يَٰهَٰرُونُ مَا مَنَعَكَ إِذۡ رَأَيۡتَهُمۡ ضَلُّوٓاْ

92. Musa said, 'What prevented you from guiding them when you saw them going astray'.

Ayah 95

قَالَ فَمَا خَطۡبُكَ يَٰسَٰمِرِيُّ

95. Musa said, now what is your position O Samari?'

Ayah 97

قَالَ فَٱذۡهَبۡ فَإِنَّ لَكَ فِي ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ أَن تَقُولَ لَا مِسَاسَۖ وَإِنَّ لَكَ مَوۡعِدٗا لَّن تُخۡلَفَهُۥۖ وَٱنظُرۡ إِلَىٰٓ إِلَٰهِكَ ٱلَّذِي ظَلۡتَ عَلَيۡهِ عَاكِفٗاۖ لَّنُحَرِّقَنَّهُۥ ثُمَّ لَنَنسِفَنَّهُۥ فِي ٱلۡيَمِّ نَسۡفًا

97 Musa said, then go away that your punishment in the life of this world in this, that you should say, touch me not' [137]. And indeed, there is an appointment for you which shall not be averted [138] from you, and look at your god before you remained sitting devoted for the whole day. Certainly We shall burn it then break it to pieces then cause to flow in the river. (139)

Ayah 103

ثُمَّ بَعَثۡنَا مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِم مُّوسَىٰ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ إِلَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَمَلَإِيْهِۦ فَظَلَمُواْ بِهَاۖ فَٱنظُرۡ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ

103. Then after them, We sent Musa towards Firaun and his chiefs with Our signs [240], but they did injustice to these signs. See how was the end of these mischief-mongers.

Ayah 104

وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰ يَٰفِرۡعَوۡنُ إِنِّي رَسُولٞ مِّن رَّبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

104. And Musa said: "O Firaun! I am the Messenger from the Lord of the Worlds" [241].

Ayah 107

فَأَلۡقَىٰ عَصَاهُ فَإِذَا هِيَ ثُعۡبَانٞ مُّبِينٞ

107. Then Musa cast his staff, and it immediately became a clear serpent [244].

Ayah 110

يُرِيدُ أَن يُخۡرِجَكُم مِّنۡ أَرۡضِكُمۡۖ فَمَاذَا تَأۡمُرُونَ

110. He (Musa) wants to expel you from your land. What do you command?

Ayah 115

قَالُواْ يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ إِمَّآ أَن تُلۡقِيَ وَإِمَّآ أَن نَّكُونَ نَحۡنُ ٱلۡمُلۡقِينَ

115. They said: "O Musa! Will you throw first, or shall we be the first to cast?"
