Ayah 80

فَلَمَّا جَآءَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ قَالَ لَهُم مُّوسَىٰٓ أَلۡقُواْ مَآ أَنتُم مُّلۡقُونَ

80. Then when the magicians came, Musa said to them, 'Cast down whatever you are going to cast [215].'

Ayah 81

فَلَمَّآ أَلۡقَوۡاْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ مَا جِئۡتُم بِهِ ٱلسِّحۡرُۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَيُبۡطِلُهُۥٓ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُصۡلِحُ عَمَلَ ٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ

81. Then when they had cast down, Musa said, "What you have brought is sorcery [216]. Indeed, Allah will nullify it [217]. Surely, Allah does not support the deeds of the corrupt [218]."

Surah Name : Yunus   Surah Number : 10   Ayat Number: 81

Ayah 83

فَمَآ ءَامَنَ لِمُوسَىٰٓ إِلَّا ذُرِّيَّةٞ مِّن قَوۡمِهِۦ عَلَىٰ خَوۡفٖ مِّن فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَمَلَإِيْهِمۡ أَن يَفۡتِنَهُمۡۚ وَإِنَّ فِرۡعَوۡنَ لَعَالٖ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَإِنَّهُۥ لَمِنَ ٱلۡمُسۡرِفِينَ

83. But none believed Musa except a few offspring of his people, out of fear of Pharaoh and his courtiers, lest they compel them [220] to fall back (from their faith). Indeed, Pharaoh was a tyrant in the land [221] and he was surely among the transgressors [222].

Ayah 84

وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰ يَٰقَوۡمِ إِن كُنتُمۡ ءَامَنتُم بِٱللَّهِ فَعَلَيۡهِ تَوَكَّلُوٓاْ إِن كُنتُم مُّسۡلِمِينَ

84. Musa said [224], "O my people if you believe in Allah, place your trust in Him alone if you are Muslims [225]."

Ayah 87

وَأَوۡحَيۡنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَأَخِيهِ أَن تَبَوَّءَا لِقَوۡمِكُمَا بِمِصۡرَ بُيُوتٗا وَٱجۡعَلُواْ بُيُوتَكُمۡ قِبۡلَةٗ وَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَۗ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

87. And We revealed to Musa and his brother, "Settle your people in Egypt in homes and make your homes places of worship, and establish prayer. And give glad tidings to the believers [231]."

Ayah 88

وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰ رَبَّنَآ إِنَّكَ ءَاتَيۡتَ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَمَلَأَهُۥ زِينَةٗ وَأَمۡوَٰلٗا فِي ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا رَبَّنَا لِيُضِلُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِكَۖ رَبَّنَا ٱطۡمِسۡ عَلَىٰٓ أَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ وَٱشۡدُدۡ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمۡ فَلَا يُؤۡمِنُواْ حَتَّىٰ يَرَوُاْ ٱلۡعَذَابَ ٱلۡأَلِيمَ

88. Musa said, "O Lord! You have given Pharaoh and his chiefs splendor and wealth in the life of this world [232]. O our Lord! That they may lead people astray [233] from Your Path. O our Lord! Destroy their wealth and harden their hearts [234], so they will not believe until they see the painful punishment [235]."

Surah Name : Yunus   Surah Number : 10   Ayat Number: 88

Ayah 17

أَفَمَن كَانَ عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَةٖ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦ وَيَتۡلُوهُ شَاهِدٞ مِّنۡهُ وَمِن قَبۡلِهِۦ كِتَٰبُ مُوسَىٰٓ إِمَامٗا وَرَحۡمَةًۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِهِۦۚ وَمَن يَكۡفُرۡ بِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلۡأَحۡزَابِ فَٱلنَّارُ مَوۡعِدُهُۥۚ فَلَا تَكُ فِي مِرۡيَةٖ مِّنۡهُۚ إِنَّهُ ٱلۡحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ

17. Is he then [38] who is upon clear evidence from his Lord, and a witness from Him [39], and before it the Book of Musa as a guide and mercy, like the one who disbelieves? Those are the ones who believe in it [40]. And whoever disbelieves in it from the factions, then the Fire is his promised meeting place [41]. So do not be in doubt about it. Indeed, it is the truth from your Lord, but most people do not believe.

Surah Name : Hud   Surah Number : 11   Ayat Number: 17

Ayah 96

وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مُوسَىٰ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَسُلۡطَٰنٖ مُّبِينٍ

96. And verily, We sent Musa with Our signs [196], and clear authority.

Ayah 110

وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَا مُوسَى ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ فَٱخۡتُلِفَ فِيهِۚ وَلَوۡلَا كَلِمَةٞ سَبَقَتۡ مِن رَّبِّكَ لَقُضِيَ بَيۡنَهُمۡۚ وَإِنَّهُمۡ لَفِي شَكّٖ مِّنۡهُ مُرِيبٖ

110. And We certainly gave Musa the Book [215], but they differed about it. If it had not been for a prior word from your Lord, the matter would have been judged between them. And indeed, they are in persistent doubt about it [216].

Ayah 44

وَأَصۡحَٰبُ مَدۡيَنَۖ وَكُذِّبَ مُوسَىٰۖ فَأَمۡلَيۡتُ لِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ ثُمَّ أَخَذۡتُهُمۡۖ فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ

44. And the dwellers of Madyan [98] and Musa too was belied, [99] then I let loose the infidels, then I seized them, so how was My torment.

Surah Name : Al-Hajj   Surah Number : 22   Ayat Number: 44

Ayah 35

وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَا مُوسَى ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَجَعَلۡنَا مَعَهُۥٓ أَخَاهُ هَٰرُونَ وَزِيرٗا

35. Indeed, We gave Moses the Book and appointed his brother Aaron as a minister [65].

Ayah 23

وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَا مُوسَى ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ فَلَا تَكُن فِي مِرۡيَةٖ مِّن لِّقَآئِهِۦۖ وَجَعَلۡنَٰهُ هُدٗى لِّبَنِيٓ إِسۡرَـٰٓءِيلَ

23.And certainly We bestowed [46] the Book upon Musa. You therefore, do not doubt [47] seeing Him. And We made it a guidance (48) for the Children of Israel.

Surah Name : As-Sajdah   Surah Number : 32   Ayat Number: 23

Ayah 36

أَمۡ لَمۡ يُنَبَّأۡ بِمَا فِي صُحُفِ مُوسَىٰ

36. Or, has he not been informed of what is in the Scriptures [47] of Musa?

Surah Name : An-Najm   Surah Number : 53   Ayat Number: 36

Ayah 5

وَإِذۡ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوۡمِهِۦ يَٰقَوۡمِ لِمَ تُؤۡذُونَنِي وَقَد تَّعۡلَمُونَ أَنِّي رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ إِلَيۡكُمۡۖ فَلَمَّا زَاغُوٓاْ أَزَاغَ ٱللَّهُ قُلُوبَهُمۡۚ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهۡدِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلۡفَٰسِقِينَ

5. And (remember) when Musa said to his people: "O my people! Why do you give me trouble [7]? And you know indeed that I am Allah's Messenger [8] (sent) to you." But when they deviated, Allah caused their hearts to deviate [9]. And Allah does not guide the transgressing people [10].

Surah Name : As-Saff   Surah Number : 61   Ayat Number: 5

Ayah 53

وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَا مُوسَى ٱلۡهُدَىٰ وَأَوۡرَثۡنَا بَنِيٓ إِسۡرَـٰٓءِيلَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ

53. And indeed. We bestowed guidance [136] upon Musa and made the Children of Israel the inheritors [137] of the Book.

Surah Name : Ghafir   Surah Number : 40   Ayat Number: 53

Ayah 37

أَسۡبَٰبَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ فَأَطَّلِعَ إِلَىٰٓ إِلَٰهِ مُوسَىٰ وَإِنِّي لَأَظُنُّهُۥ كَٰذِبٗاۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ زُيِّنَ لِفِرۡعَوۡنَ سُوٓءُ عَمَلِهِۦ وَصُدَّ عَنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِۚ وَمَا كَيۡدُ فِرۡعَوۡنَ إِلَّا فِي تَبَابٖ

37. The ways to the[99] heavens" so that I may peep at the God [100] of Musa. And surely I think he is a liar (101). And thus his evil deed was made to look attractive (102) in the eyes of Pharaoh and he was barred(103) from the (right) way. And the design of Pharaoh ended in ruin (104).

Surah Name : Ghafir   Surah Number : 40   Ayat Number: 37

Ayah 27

وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰٓ إِنِّي عُذۡتُ بِرَبِّي وَرَبِّكُم مِّن كُلِّ مُتَكَبِّرٖ لَّا يُؤۡمِنُ بِيَوۡمِ ٱلۡحِسَابِ

27. And Musa said [67]: "I take refuge with my Lord and your lord from very arrogant person who does not believe [68] in the Day of Reckoning".

Surah Name : Ghafir   Surah Number : 40   Ayat Number: 27

Ayah 26

وَقَالَ فِرۡعَوۡنُ ذَرُونِيٓ أَقۡتُلۡ مُوسَىٰ وَلۡيَدۡعُ رَبَّهُۥٓۖ إِنِّيٓ أَخَافُ أَن يُبَدِّلَ دِينَكُمۡ أَوۡ أَن يُظۡهِرَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ ٱلۡفَسَادَ

26. And Pharaoh said [63]: "Leave me alone that I may kill Musa and let him call [64] his Lord. I fear that he will change your religion or he will (65) cause disorder in the land (66)".

Surah Name : Ghafir   Surah Number : 40   Ayat Number: 26

Ayah 23

وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مُوسَىٰ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَسُلۡطَٰنٖ مُّبِينٍ

23.And indeed We sent Musa with Our Signs and a clear authority [58].

Surah Name : Ghafir   Surah Number : 40   Ayat Number: 23

Ayah 39

فَتَوَلَّىٰ بِرُكۡنِهِۦ وَقَالَ سَٰحِرٌ أَوۡ مَجۡنُونٞ

39.But, he (Pharaoh) turned away with his forces (43) and said: "A magician or a madman (44) (is Musa)."
