Surah Maryam

Ayah 51 of 10

وَٱذۡكُرۡ فِي ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ مُوسَىٰٓۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ مُخۡلَصٗا وَكَانَ رَسُولٗا نَّبِيّٗا

Wazkur fil Kitaabi Moosaaa; innahoo kaana mukhlasanw wa kaana Rasoolan Nabiyyaa
51. And remember [87] Moses in the book. Indeed, he was chosen and was a messenger, a Prophet [88].

Ayah 52 of 10

وَنَٰدَيۡنَٰهُ مِن جَانِبِ ٱلطُّورِ ٱلۡأَيۡمَنِ وَقَرَّبۡنَٰهُ نَجِيّٗا

Wa naadainaahu min jaanibit Tooril aimani wa qarrabnaahu najiyyaa
52. And We called [89] him from the right side of the Mount (Tur) and drew him near for a confidential conversation [90].

وَوَهَبۡنَا لَهُۥ مِن رَّحۡمَتِنَآ أَخَاهُ هَٰرُونَ نَبِيّٗا

Wa wahabnaa lahoo mir rahmatinaaa akhaahu Haaroona Nabiyyaa
53. And We gave him out of Our mercy his brother, Aaron [91], a Prophet.

54. And remember [92] Ishmael in the book. Indeed, he was true to his promise [93] and was a messenger, a Prophet.

وَكَانَ يَأۡمُرُ أَهۡلَهُۥ بِٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَٱلزَّكَوٰةِ وَكَانَ عِندَ رَبِّهِۦ مَرۡضِيّٗا

Wa kaana ya'muru ahlahoo bis Salaati waz zakaati wa kaana 'inda Rabbihee mardiyyaa
55. And he bade [94] his family to pray and give Zakat, and was pleasing to his Lord [95].

57. And We raised him to a lofty place [97].

أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنۡعَمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡهِم مِّنَ ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ مِن ذُرِّيَّةِ ءَادَمَ وَمِمَّنۡ حَمَلۡنَا مَعَ نُوحٖ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّةِ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ وَإِسۡرَـٰٓءِيلَ وَمِمَّنۡ هَدَيۡنَا وَٱجۡتَبَيۡنَآۚ إِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ خَرُّواْۤ سُجَّدٗاۤ وَبُكِيّٗا۩ا

Ulaaa'ikal lazeena an'amal laahu 'alaihim minan Nabiyyeena min zurriyyati Aadama wa mimman hamalnaa ma'a Noohinw wa min zurriyyati Ibraaheema wa Israaa'eela wa mimman hadainaa wajta bainaaa; izaa tutlaa 'alaihim Aayaatur Rahmaani kharroo sujjadanw wa bukiyyaa (make sajda)
58. These are they on whom Allah bestowed His blessings [98] from among the Prophets, of the offspring of Adam and those whom We bore [99] with Noah, and of the offspring of Abraham [100] and Israel [101], and those whom We guided and chose. Whenever the verses of the Most Merciful are recited to them [102], they fall down in prostration and weeping [103].

Ayah 59 of 10

۞فَخَلَفَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡ خَلۡفٌ أَضَاعُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَٱتَّبَعُواْ ٱلشَّهَوَٰتِۖ فَسَوۡفَ يَلۡقَوۡنَ غَيًّا

Fakhalafa min ba'dihim khalfun adaa'us Salaata wattaba'ush shahawaati fasawfa yalqawna ghaiyyaa
59. Then there succeeded them a later generation who wasted the prayer [105] and followed their lusts. They will soon encounter a valley of hell [106].

Ayah 60 of 10

إِلَّا مَن تَابَ وَءَامَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَٰلِحٗا فَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ يَدۡخُلُونَ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ وَلَا يُظۡلَمُونَ شَيۡـٔٗا

Illaa man taaba wa aamana wa 'amila saalihan fa ulaaa'ika yadkhuloonal jannata wa laa yuzlamoona shai'aa
60. But those who repented and believed and did righteous deeds [107], will enter Paradise [108] and will not be wronged in the least [109].
