Versículo 41 de 85

۞وَيَٰقَوۡمِ مَا لِيٓ أَدۡعُوكُمۡ إِلَى ٱلنَّجَوٰةِ وَتَدۡعُونَنِيٓ إِلَى ٱلنَّارِ

Wa yaa qawmi maa leee ad'ookum ilan najaati wa tad'oonaneee ilan Naar
41. »¡Pueblo mío!, ¿cómo puede ser que mientras que yo os llamo a la salvación vosotros me llaméis al fuego?

Versículo 42 de 85

تَدۡعُونَنِي لِأَكۡفُرَ بِٱللَّهِ وَأُشۡرِكَ بِهِۦ مَا لَيۡسَ لِي بِهِۦ عِلۡمٞ وَأَنَا۠ أَدۡعُوكُمۡ إِلَى ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡغَفَّـٰرِ

Tad'oonanee li-akfura billaahi wa ushrika bihee maa laisa lee bihee 'ilmunw wa ana ad'ookum ilal'Azeezil Ghaffaar
42. »Me llamáis a no creer en Al-lah y a adorar además de a Él aquello sobre lo que no tengo ningún conocimiento, mientras que yo os invito (a que adoréis) al Poderoso, al Sumamente Indulgente.

Versículo 43 de 85

لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّمَا تَدۡعُونَنِيٓ إِلَيۡهِ لَيۡسَ لَهُۥ دَعۡوَةٞ فِي ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَلَا فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ وَأَنَّ مَرَدَّنَآ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَأَنَّ ٱلۡمُسۡرِفِينَ هُمۡ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ

Laa jarama annamaa tad'oonanee ilaihi laisa lahoo da'watun fid dunyaa wa laa fil Aakhirati wa anna maraddanaaa ilal laahi wa annal musrifeenahum Ashaabun Naar
43. »Aquello a lo que me invitáis no tiene, en verdad, ningún poder en esta vida ni en la otra, ni puede responder a las súplicas. Y todos retornaremos a Al-lah (para ser juzgados). Y los transgresores serán los habitantes del fuego.

Versículo 44 de 85

فَسَتَذۡكُرُونَ مَآ أَقُولُ لَكُمۡۚ وَأُفَوِّضُ أَمۡرِيٓ إِلَى ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بَصِيرُۢ بِٱلۡعِبَادِ

Fasatazkuroona maaa aqoolu lakum; wa ufawwidu amreee ilal laah; innallaaha baseerum bil'ibaad
44. »Recordaréis lo que os estoy diciendo (cuando veáis el castigo con vuestros propios ojos). Y yo me encomiendo a Al-lah. Ciertamente, Al-lah observa lo que hacen Sus siervos».

Versículo 45 de 85

فَوَقَىٰهُ ٱللَّهُ سَيِّـَٔاتِ مَا مَكَرُواْۖ وَحَاقَ بِـَٔالِ فِرۡعَوۡنَ سُوٓءُ ٱلۡعَذَابِ

Fa waqaahul laahu saiyiaati maa makaroo wa haaqa bi Aali-Fir'awna sooo'ul 'azaab
45. Y Al-lah lo protegió de sus perversos planes(evitando que lo mataran), y un terrible castigo se abatió sobre la gente del Faraón (al morir ahogados).

Versículo 46 de 85

ٱلنَّارُ يُعۡرَضُونَ عَلَيۡهَا غُدُوّٗا وَعَشِيّٗاۚ وَيَوۡمَ تَقُومُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ أَدۡخِلُوٓاْ ءَالَ فِرۡعَوۡنَ أَشَدَّ ٱلۡعَذَابِ

An Naaru yu'radoona 'alaihaa ghuduwwanw wa 'ashiyyanw wa Yawma taqoomus Saa'aatu adkhilooo Aala Fir'awna ashaddal 'azaab
46. Y (sus almas) serán expuestas al fuego mañana y tarde[885]. Y cuando tenga lugar la hora (del Juicio Final, se les dirá a los ángeles:) «Haced entrar a la gente del Faraón en el más duro de los castigos».

وَإِذۡ يَتَحَآجُّونَ فِي ٱلنَّارِ فَيَقُولُ ٱلضُّعَفَـٰٓؤُاْ لِلَّذِينَ ٱسۡتَكۡبَرُوٓاْ إِنَّا كُنَّا لَكُمۡ تَبَعٗا فَهَلۡ أَنتُم مُّغۡنُونَ عَنَّا نَصِيبٗا مِّنَ ٱلنَّارِ

Wa iz yatahaaajjoona fin Naari fa-yaqoolud du'afaaa'u lillazeenas takbarooo innaa kunnaa lakum taba'an fahal antum mughnoona annaa naseebam minan Naar
47. Y (menciona a tu gente, ¡oh, Muhammad!) cuando (los habitantes del infierno) discutan entre ellos; entonces, los que fueron débiles dirán a los arrogantes: «En verdad, os seguíamos a vosotros; ¿podéis librarnos ahora de una parte del castigo del fuego?».

قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسۡتَكۡبَرُوٓاْ إِنَّا كُلّٞ فِيهَآ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ قَدۡ حَكَمَ بَيۡنَ ٱلۡعِبَادِ

Qaalal lazeenas takbarooo innaa kullun feehaaa innal laaha qad hakama baynal'ibaad
48. Los arrogantes responderán: «Todos arderemos en él, (pues) Al-lah ya ha juzgado a Sus siervos».

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ فِي ٱلنَّارِ لِخَزَنَةِ جَهَنَّمَ ٱدۡعُواْ رَبَّكُمۡ يُخَفِّفۡ عَنَّا يَوۡمٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ

Wa qaalal lazeena fin Naari likhazanati Jahannamad-'oo Rabbakum yukhaffif 'annaa yawmam minal 'azaab
49. Y quienes se hallen en el fuego dirán a los ángeles guardianes del infierno: «Rogad a vuestro Señor para que nos mitigue el castigo, aunque sea por un día».

قَالُوٓاْ أَوَلَمۡ تَكُ تَأۡتِيكُمۡ رُسُلُكُم بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِۖ قَالُواْ بَلَىٰۚ قَالُواْ فَٱدۡعُواْۗ وَمَا دُعَـٰٓؤُاْ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ إِلَّا فِي ضَلَٰلٍ

Qaalooo awalam taku taateekum Rusulukum bilbaiyinaati qaaloo balaa' qaaloo fad'oo; wa maa du'aaa'ul kaafireena illaa fee dalaal (section 5)
50. (Los ángeles)les preguntarán: «¿Acaso no se presentaron ante vosotros vuestros mensajeros con pruebas evidentes?». (Estos) responderán: «¡Sí, sí lo hicieron!». (Entonces los ángeles) les dirán: «Rogádselo vosotros mismos (pues nadie intercederá por vosotros). Pero las súplicas de quienes rechazan la verdad siempre son en vano».
