Ayah 66

قَالَ لَنۡ أُرۡسِلَهُۥ مَعَكُمۡ حَتَّىٰ تُؤۡتُونِ مَوۡثِقٗا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ لَتَأۡتُنَّنِي بِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَن يُحَاطَ بِكُمۡۖ فَلَمَّآ ءَاتَوۡهُ مَوۡثِقَهُمۡ قَالَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ مَا نَقُولُ وَكِيلٞ

66. He said, "I will never send him with you until you give me a solemn pledge [139] by Allah that you will certainly bring him back to me unless you are encompassed [140]." Then, when they gave their solemn pledges, he said, "Allah is the Guardian over what we say [141]."

Ayah 67

وَقَالَ يَٰبَنِيَّ لَا تَدۡخُلُواْ مِنۢ بَابٖ وَٰحِدٖ وَٱدۡخُلُواْ مِنۡ أَبۡوَٰبٖ مُّتَفَرِّقَةٖۖ وَمَآ أُغۡنِي عَنكُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ مِن شَيۡءٍۖ إِنِ ٱلۡحُكۡمُ إِلَّا لِلَّهِۖ عَلَيۡهِ تَوَكَّلۡتُۖ وَعَلَيۡهِ فَلۡيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلۡمُتَوَكِّلُونَ

67. And he said, "O my sons, do not enter by one gate, but enter by separate gates [142]. I cannot protect you against Allah [143]. All judgment belongs to Allah [144]. I place my trust in Him, and let those who trust put their trust in Him."

Ayah 68

وَلَمَّا دَخَلُواْ مِنۡ حَيۡثُ أَمَرَهُمۡ أَبُوهُم مَّا كَانَ يُغۡنِي عَنۡهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ مِن شَيۡءٍ إِلَّا حَاجَةٗ فِي نَفۡسِ يَعۡقُوبَ قَضَىٰهَاۚ وَإِنَّهُۥ لَذُو عِلۡمٖ لِّمَا عَلَّمۡنَٰهُ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ

68. And when they entered as their father had commanded [145], it did not avail them against Allah [146]. There was only a desire in the heart of Yaqub [147], which he fulfilled. And indeed, he is possessed of knowledge [148] from what We taught him, but most people do not know [149].

Ayah 76

فَبَدَأَ بِأَوۡعِيَتِهِمۡ قَبۡلَ وِعَآءِ أَخِيهِ ثُمَّ ٱسۡتَخۡرَجَهَا مِن وِعَآءِ أَخِيهِۚ كَذَٰلِكَ كِدۡنَا لِيُوسُفَۖ مَا كَانَ لِيَأۡخُذَ أَخَاهُ فِي دِينِ ٱلۡمَلِكِ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُۚ نَرۡفَعُ دَرَجَٰتٖ مَّن نَّشَآءُۗ وَفَوۡقَ كُلِّ ذِي عِلۡمٍ عَلِيمٞ

76. Then he began by searching their bags before the bag of his brother, and then he took it out from his brother's bag [160]. Thus We planned for Yusuf [161]. He could not have taken his brother under the king's law except that Allah willed it [162]. We exalt in degrees whom We will, and above every person of knowledge is One who is Knowing [163].

Ayah 77

۞قَالُوٓاْ إِن يَسۡرِقۡ فَقَدۡ سَرَقَ أَخٞ لَّهُۥ مِن قَبۡلُۚ فَأَسَرَّهَا يُوسُفُ فِي نَفۡسِهِۦ وَلَمۡ يُبۡدِهَا لَهُمۡۚ قَالَ أَنتُمۡ شَرّٞ مَّكَانٗاۖ وَٱللَّهُ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَا تَصِفُونَ

77. The brothers said, “If he steals, then his brother has certainly stolen before [165].” Yusuf kept this matter hidden in his heart and did not disclose it to them. He said, “You are in a worse position [166], and Allah knows well what you describe [167].”

Ayah 79

قَالَ مَعَاذَ ٱللَّهِ أَن نَّأۡخُذَ إِلَّا مَن وَجَدۡنَا مَتَٰعَنَا عِندَهُۥٓ إِنَّآ إِذٗا لَّظَٰلِمُونَ

79. He said, “May Allah forbid that we take anyone other than the one with whom we found our goods. If we did, we would certainly be wrongdoers [170].”

Ayah 80

فَلَمَّا ٱسۡتَيۡـَٔسُواْ مِنۡهُ خَلَصُواْ نَجِيّٗاۖ قَالَ كَبِيرُهُمۡ أَلَمۡ تَعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ أَبَاكُمۡ قَدۡ أَخَذَ عَلَيۡكُم مَّوۡثِقٗا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَمِن قَبۡلُ مَا فَرَّطتُمۡ فِي يُوسُفَۖ فَلَنۡ أَبۡرَحَ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ حَتَّىٰ يَأۡذَنَ لِيٓ أَبِيٓ أَوۡ يَحۡكُمَ ٱللَّهُ لِيۖ وَهُوَ خَيۡرُ ٱلۡحَٰكِمِينَ

80. Then when they were disappointed [171] of him, they began conferring going apart. His elder brother said, "Do you not remember that your father had taken a solemn pledge [172] of Allah from you, and before this how you committed mistake [173] regarding Yusuf? Then I shall not move from this place until my father permits or Allah commands me [174], and His command is best."

Ayah 83

قَالَ بَلۡ سَوَّلَتۡ لَكُمۡ أَنفُسُكُمۡ أَمۡرٗاۖ فَصَبۡرٞ جَمِيلٌۖ عَسَى ٱللَّهُ أَن يَأۡتِيَنِي بِهِمۡ جَمِيعًاۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ

83. He said, "Rather, your souls have tempted you to a matter [178]. So patience is most fitting. Perhaps Allah will bring them all to me [179]. Indeed, He is the Knowing, the Wise."

Ayah 86

قَالَ إِنَّمَآ أَشۡكُواْ بَثِّي وَحُزۡنِيٓ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَأَعۡلَمُ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ

86. He said, "I only complain of my anguish [182] and sorrow to Allah, and I know from Allah what you do not know [183]."

Ayah 87

يَٰبَنِيَّ ٱذۡهَبُواْ فَتَحَسَّسُواْ مِن يُوسُفَ وَأَخِيهِ وَلَا تَاْيۡـَٔسُواْ مِن رَّوۡحِ ٱللَّهِۖ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يَاْيۡـَٔسُ مِن رَّوۡحِ ٱللَّهِ إِلَّا ٱلۡقَوۡمُ ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ

87. O my sons, go and search for Yusuf [184] and his brother, and do not despair of Allah’s mercy. Indeed, none despairs of Allah’s mercy except the disbelieving people [185].

Ayah 88

فَلَمَّا دَخَلُواْ عَلَيۡهِ قَالُواْ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلۡعَزِيزُ مَسَّنَا وَأَهۡلَنَا ٱلضُّرُّ وَجِئۡنَا بِبِضَٰعَةٖ مُّزۡجَىٰةٖ فَأَوۡفِ لَنَا ٱلۡكَيۡلَ وَتَصَدَّقۡ عَلَيۡنَآۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُتَصَدِّقِينَ

88. When they came before Yusuf, they said, "O Aziz, distress has touched us and our family, and we have come with poor merchandise [187]. So give us full measure and be charitable to us [188]. Indeed, Allah rewards the charitable [189]."

Ayah 90

قَالُوٓاْ أَءِنَّكَ لَأَنتَ يُوسُفُۖ قَالَ أَنَا۠ يُوسُفُ وَهَٰذَآ أَخِيۖ قَدۡ مَنَّ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡنَآۖ إِنَّهُۥ مَن يَتَّقِ وَيَصۡبِرۡ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُضِيعُ أَجۡرَ ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ

90. They said, "Are you really Yusuf [192]?" He replied, "I am Yusuf, and this is my brother [193]. Indeed, Allah has favored us. Whoever fears Allah and is patient, Allah does not waste the reward of the righteous [195]."

Ayah 91

قَالُواْ تَٱللَّهِ لَقَدۡ ءَاثَرَكَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡنَا وَإِن كُنَّا لَخَٰطِـِٔينَ

91. They said, "By Allah, surely Allah has preferred you above us, and indeed, we have been sinners [196]."

Ayah 92

قَالَ لَا تَثۡرِيبَ عَلَيۡكُمُ ٱلۡيَوۡمَۖ يَغۡفِرُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمۡۖ وَهُوَ أَرۡحَمُ ٱلرَّـٰحِمِينَ

92. He said, "Today, there is no blame upon you. May Allah forgive you [197], and He is the Most Merciful of the merciful."

Ayah 95

قَالُواْ تَٱللَّهِ إِنَّكَ لَفِي ضَلَٰلِكَ ٱلۡقَدِيمِ

95. They said, "By Allah, you are still in your old delusion [201]."

Ayah 96

فَلَمَّآ أَن جَآءَ ٱلۡبَشِيرُ أَلۡقَىٰهُ عَلَىٰ وَجۡهِهِۦ فَٱرۡتَدَّ بَصِيرٗاۖ قَالَ أَلَمۡ أَقُل لَّكُمۡ إِنِّيٓ أَعۡلَمُ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ

96. Then, when the bearer of glad tidings arrived [202], he placed the shirt on Jacob's face, and his sight was restored [203]. He said, "Did I not tell you that I know from Allah what you do not know [204]?"

Ayah 99

فَلَمَّا دَخَلُواْ عَلَىٰ يُوسُفَ ءَاوَىٰٓ إِلَيۡهِ أَبَوَيۡهِ وَقَالَ ٱدۡخُلُواْ مِصۡرَ إِن شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ ءَامِنِينَ

99. When they all came before Yusuf [207], he took his parents in and said, "Enter Egypt, if Allah wills, in safety [209]."

Ayah 106

وَمَا يُؤۡمِنُ أَكۡثَرُهُم بِٱللَّهِ إِلَّا وَهُم مُّشۡرِكُونَ

106. And most of them do not believe in Allah except while they associate others with Him [221].

Ayah 107

أَفَأَمِنُوٓاْ أَن تَأۡتِيَهُمۡ غَٰشِيَةٞ مِّنۡ عَذَابِ ٱللَّهِ أَوۡ تَأۡتِيَهُمُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ بَغۡتَةٗ وَهُمۡ لَا يَشۡعُرُونَ

107. Have they become fearless from this that they may be encompassed by the torment [222] of Allah, or the sudden coming of the Hour upon them while they are unaware?

Surah Name : Yusuf   Surah Number : 12   Ayat Number: 107

Ayah 1

يَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلۡأَنفَالِۖ قُلِ ٱلۡأَنفَالُ لِلَّهِ وَٱلرَّسُولِۖ فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَصۡلِحُواْ ذَاتَ بَيۡنِكُمۡۖ وَأَطِيعُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥٓ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَ

1. They ask you regarding the spoils [1] of war. Say, "The spoils are for Allah and the Messenger [2]. So fear Allah [3], and set things right among yourselves, and obey Allah and His Messenger, if you are believers [4]."
