Ayah 4

مَّا جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ لِرَجُلٖ مِّن قَلۡبَيۡنِ فِي جَوۡفِهِۦۚ وَمَا جَعَلَ أَزۡوَٰجَكُمُ ٱلَّـٰٓـِٔي تُظَٰهِرُونَ مِنۡهُنَّ أُمَّهَٰتِكُمۡۚ وَمَا جَعَلَ أَدۡعِيَآءَكُمۡ أَبۡنَآءَكُمۡۚ ذَٰلِكُمۡ قَوۡلُكُم بِأَفۡوَٰهِكُمۡۖ وَٱللَّهُ يَقُولُ ٱلۡحَقَّ وَهُوَ يَهۡدِي ٱلسَّبِيلَ

4. Allah has not placed two hearts[4] inside a man, nor has He made those wives of yours whom you pronounce as equal to your mothers, your real mothers[5], and nor has He made your adopted sons your real sons. This is only the(6) saying of your mouth. And Allah speaks the truth. And only He guides(7) you to the (right) way.

Ayah 5

ٱدۡعُوهُمۡ لِأٓبَآئِهِمۡ هُوَ أَقۡسَطُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِۚ فَإِن لَّمۡ تَعۡلَمُوٓاْ ءَابَآءَهُمۡ فَإِخۡوَٰنُكُمۡ فِي ٱلدِّينِ وَمَوَٰلِيكُمۡۚ وَلَيۡسَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ جُنَاحٞ فِيمَآ أَخۡطَأۡتُم بِهِۦ وَلَٰكِن مَّا تَعَمَّدَتۡ قُلُوبُكُمۡۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ غَفُورٗا رَّحِيمًا

5. Call [8] them after their fathers. This is more justified in the sight of Allah. But if you do not know their fathers, then they are brothers in faith, and your friends[9]. And there is no sin on you regarding which you made a mistake unintentionally (10). But that is a sin which you may commit with the intention(11) of your heart. And Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

Ayah 6

ٱلنَّبِيُّ أَوۡلَىٰ بِٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ مِنۡ أَنفُسِهِمۡۖ وَأَزۡوَٰجُهُۥٓ أُمَّهَٰتُهُمۡۗ وَأُوْلُواْ ٱلۡأَرۡحَامِ بَعۡضُهُمۡ أَوۡلَىٰ بِبَعۡضٖ فِي كِتَٰبِ ٱللَّهِ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَٱلۡمُهَٰجِرِينَ إِلَّآ أَن تَفۡعَلُوٓاْ إِلَىٰٓ أَوۡلِيَآئِكُم مَّعۡرُوفٗاۚ كَانَ ذَٰلِكَ فِي ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ مَسۡطُورٗا

6.The Prophet (Muhammad) is more worthy of the believers even more than their own selves (13), and his wives are their mothers. And blood relations are nearer (14) to one another in the Book of Allah, then the rest of the believers, as well as emigrants (15), except those with whom you do any usual favour (16) as your friends. This is inscribed (17) in the Book.

Ayah 9

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱذۡكُرُواْ نِعۡمَةَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيۡكُمۡ إِذۡ جَآءَتۡكُمۡ جُنُودٞ فَأَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ رِيحٗا وَجُنُودٗا لَّمۡ تَرَوۡهَاۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ بَصِيرًا

9. O Believers! Remember [21] Allah's favours upon you when some armies pounced on you. Then We sent on them a strong wind and an army [22] (of angels) which you did not see. And Allah observes your deeds.

Ayah 10

إِذۡ جَآءُوكُم مِّن فَوۡقِكُمۡ وَمِنۡ أَسۡفَلَ مِنكُمۡ وَإِذۡ زَاغَتِ ٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرُ وَبَلَغَتِ ٱلۡقُلُوبُ ٱلۡحَنَاجِرَ وَتَظُنُّونَ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلظُّنُونَا۠

10.When they (infidels) came upon you from above you, and from below (23) you, and when your eyes dazzled in amazement, and hearts rose up to your throats (24), and you began to think diverse thoughts (25) about Allah (of hope and despair).

Ayah 15

وَلَقَدۡ كَانُواْ عَٰهَدُواْ ٱللَّهَ مِن قَبۡلُ لَا يُوَلُّونَ ٱلۡأَدۡبَٰرَۚ وَكَانَ عَهۡدُ ٱللَّهِ مَسۡـُٔولٗا

15.And certainly they had already pledged with Allah before that, that they would not turn their backs[34]. And the pledge with Allah shall be questioned [35].

Ayah 17

قُلۡ مَن ذَا ٱلَّذِي يَعۡصِمُكُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ إِنۡ أَرَادَ بِكُمۡ سُوٓءًا أَوۡ أَرَادَ بِكُمۡ رَحۡمَةٗۚ وَلَا يَجِدُونَ لَهُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَلِيّٗا وَلَا نَصِيرٗا

17. Please declare: "Who is he that can save you against the Command of Allah, if it be His wish to do you harm, or show His Mercy"[37]. And they shall neither find for themselves any supporter nor any helper [38] besides Allah.

Ayah 18

۞قَدۡ يَعۡلَمُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡمُعَوِّقِينَ مِنكُمۡ وَٱلۡقَآئِلِينَ لِإِخۡوَٰنِهِمۡ هَلُمَّ إِلَيۡنَاۖ وَلَا يَأۡتُونَ ٱلۡبَأۡسَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا

18.Indeed, Allah knows those of you who hinder others (from Holy War) and say to their brothers, come (39) to our side. And they come not to the battle but a little (40).

Ayah 19

أَشِحَّةً عَلَيۡكُمۡۖ فَإِذَا جَآءَ ٱلۡخَوۡفُ رَأَيۡتَهُمۡ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَيۡكَ تَدُورُ أَعۡيُنُهُمۡ كَٱلَّذِي يُغۡشَىٰ عَلَيۡهِ مِنَ ٱلۡمَوۡتِۖ فَإِذَا ذَهَبَ ٱلۡخَوۡفُ سَلَقُوكُم بِأَلۡسِنَةٍ حِدَادٍ أَشِحَّةً عَلَى ٱلۡخَيۡرِۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ لَمۡ يُؤۡمِنُواْ فَأَحۡبَطَ ٱللَّهُ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡۚ وَكَانَ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ يَسِيرٗا

19.They are reluctant in helping you. But when the time of fear comes to them, you will see them looking at you. Their eyes are rolling [41] as if death [42] has approached them. Then when the time of fear has passed (43) away, they began to taunt you with a sharp tongue, being greedy of the booty (44). These people have never believed (45), therefore Allah has nullified (46) their works, and this is an easy 47) thing for Allah.

Ayah 21

لَّقَدۡ كَانَ لَكُمۡ فِي رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ أُسۡوَةٌ حَسَنَةٞ لِّمَن كَانَ يَرۡجُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَٱلۡيَوۡمَ ٱلۡأٓخِرَ وَذَكَرَ ٱللَّهَ كَثِيرٗا

21.Certainly you have an excellent model in the following[51] of the Messenger of Allah, for him who hopes in Allah and the Last Day, and (who) remembers abundance(52) Allah in abundance.

Ayah 22

وَلَمَّا رَءَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ ٱلۡأَحۡزَابَ قَالُواْ هَٰذَا مَا وَعَدَنَا ٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥ وَصَدَقَ ٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥۚ وَمَا زَادَهُمۡ إِلَّآ إِيمَٰنٗا وَتَسۡلِيمٗا

22. And when the believers saw the allies (of the infidels) they said: "This is what Allah and His Messenger promised (53) us.". And Allah and His Messenger spoke the truth, and it only increased them in faith and submission (to the pleasure (54) of Allah.

Surah Name : Al-Ahzab   Surah Number : 33   Ayat Number: 22

Ayah 23

مِّنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ رِجَالٞ صَدَقُواْ مَا عَٰهَدُواْ ٱللَّهَ عَلَيۡهِۖ فَمِنۡهُم مَّن قَضَىٰ نَحۡبَهُۥ وَمِنۡهُم مَّن يَنتَظِرُۖ وَمَا بَدَّلُواْ تَبۡدِيلٗا

23.Among believers are men who have made true [55] the pledge they had made with Allah. There are some [56] of them, who have fulfilled their vows, and some are still waiting (57), and they do not change in the least (58).

Ayah 24

لِّيَجۡزِيَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ بِصِدۡقِهِمۡ وَيُعَذِّبَ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ إِن شَآءَ أَوۡ يَتُوبَ عَلَيۡهِمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ غَفُورٗا رَّحِيمٗا

24.That Allah may reward the [59] truthful for their truth, and punish the hypocrites if He so wills, or may turn towards them with mercy. Indeed Allah is Forgiving, Merciful[60].

Ayah 25

وَرَدَّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِغَيۡظِهِمۡ لَمۡ يَنَالُواْ خَيۡرٗاۚ وَكَفَى ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ ٱلۡقِتَالَۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ قَوِيًّا عَزِيزٗا

25. And Allah turned back the infidels in their hearts burning. They did not obtain [61] of any advantage. And Allah sufficed [62] the believers in the fight. and Allah is Powerful, Honourable.

Ayah 27

وَأَوۡرَثَكُمۡ أَرۡضَهُمۡ وَدِيَٰرَهُمۡ وَأَمۡوَٰلَهُمۡ وَأَرۡضٗا لَّمۡ تَطَـُٔوهَاۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٗا

27.And He made you to inherit their land, and their houses [66] and their wealth, and a land on which you have not set foot yet [67]. And Allah has power over everything.

Ayah 29

وَإِن كُنتُنَّ تُرِدۡنَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ وَٱلدَّارَ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةَ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ أَعَدَّ لِلۡمُحۡسِنَٰتِ مِنكُنَّ أَجۡرًا عَظِيمٗا

29. And if you desire company of Allah and His Messenger and the home of the Hereafter [72], then indeed Allah has kept prepared the doers of good among you a great reward [73].

Surah Name : Al-Ahzab   Surah Number : 33   Ayat Number: 29

Ayah 30

يَٰنِسَآءَ ٱلنَّبِيِّ مَن يَأۡتِ مِنكُنَّ بِفَٰحِشَةٖ مُّبَيِّنَةٖ يُضَٰعَفۡ لَهَا ٱلۡعَذَابُ ضِعۡفَيۡنِۚ وَكَانَ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ يَسِيرٗا

30. O wives of the Prophet! Whoso of you dares [74] to do open indecency (against modesty) shall have double (75) punishment in comparison to others. And this is easy (76) for Allah.

Ayah 31

۞وَمَن يَقۡنُتۡ مِنكُنَّ لِلَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَتَعۡمَلۡ صَٰلِحٗا نُّؤۡتِهَآ أَجۡرَهَا مَرَّتَيۡنِ وَأَعۡتَدۡنَا لَهَا رِزۡقٗا كَرِيمٗا

31.And whose of you remain obedient [77] to Allah and His Messenger, and do good deeds, We shall double [78] your reward, in comparison to (wives of) others, and We have kept prepared ready for you an honourable provision (79).

Surah Name : Al-Ahzab   Surah Number : 33   Ayat Number: 31

Ayah 32

يَٰنِسَآءَ ٱلنَّبِيِّ لَسۡتُنَّ كَأَحَدٖ مِّنَ ٱلنِّسَآءِ إِنِ ٱتَّقَيۡتُنَّۚ فَلَا تَخۡضَعۡنَ بِٱلۡقَوۡلِ فَيَطۡمَعَ ٱلَّذِي فِي قَلۡبِهِۦ مَرَضٞ وَقُلۡنَ قَوۡلٗا مَّعۡرُوفٗا

32. 0 wives of the Prophet! You are not like[80] other women. If you fear Allah be not so polite in your specch [81], lest some in whose heart is a disease should feel tempted. And yet, speak good (82) words.

Ayah 33

وَقَرۡنَ فِي بُيُوتِكُنَّ وَلَا تَبَرَّجۡنَ تَبَرُّجَ ٱلۡجَٰهِلِيَّةِ ٱلۡأُولَىٰۖ وَأَقِمۡنَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتِينَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَأَطِعۡنَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥٓۚ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ لِيُذۡهِبَ عَنكُمُ ٱلرِّجۡسَ أَهۡلَ ٱلۡبَيۡتِ وَيُطَهِّرَكُمۡ تَطۡهِيرٗا

33.And stay[83] in your houses and be not unveiled [84] like that of the unveiling of the days of ignorance (Period of Jahiliyyah). And establish prayer and pay Zakaat and obey (85) the Commands of Allah and His Messenger. Allah only desires to keep you away from all uncleanliness (86) O people of the house (87) (of the Prophet) and keep you well purified after cleaning you thoroughly.
