Ayah 51

قُل لَّن يُصِيبَنَآ إِلَّا مَا كَتَبَ ٱللَّهُ لَنَا هُوَ مَوۡلَىٰنَاۚ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلۡيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ,

51. Please declare: "Nothing shall reach us but what Allah has ordained [145] for us. He is our Protector, and the believers should keep trust in Allah only."

Ayah 52

قُلۡ هَلۡ تَرَبَّصُونَ بِنَآ إِلَّآ إِحۡدَى ٱلۡحُسۡنَيَيۡنِۖ وَنَحۡنُ نَتَرَبَّصُ بِكُمۡ أَن يُصِيبَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِعَذَابٖ مِّنۡ عِندِهِۦٓ أَوۡ بِأَيۡدِينَاۖ فَتَرَبَّصُوٓاْ إِنَّا مَعَكُم مُّتَرَبِّصُونَ,

52. Say, "Are you waiting for us except for one of the two best things? And we are waiting for Allah to afflict you either from Himself [147] or at our hands. So wait; we too are waiting with you."

Ayah 54

وَمَا مَنَعَهُمۡ أَن تُقۡبَلَ مِنۡهُمۡ نَفَقَٰتُهُمۡ إِلَّآ أَنَّهُمۡ كَفَرُواْ بِٱللَّهِ وَبِرَسُولِهِۦ وَلَا يَأۡتُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ إِلَّا وَهُمۡ كُسَالَىٰ وَلَا يُنفِقُونَ إِلَّا وَهُمۡ كَٰرِهُونَ,

54. And what prevented their expenditures from being accepted was only that they denied [149] Allah and His Messenger. And they come to prayer lazily [150] and spend only unwillingly [151].

Ayah 55

فَلَا تُعۡجِبۡكَ أَمۡوَٰلُهُمۡ وَلَآ أَوۡلَٰدُهُمۡۚ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ لِيُعَذِّبَهُم بِهَا فِي ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَتَزۡهَقَ أَنفُسُهُمۡ وَهُمۡ كَٰفِرُونَ,

55. So let not their wealth and children amaze you. Allah only intends to punish [153] them through these in the worldly life, and that their souls may depart while they are disbelievers [154].

Ayah 56

وَيَحۡلِفُونَ بِٱللَّهِ إِنَّهُمۡ لَمِنكُمۡ وَمَا هُم مِّنكُمۡ وَلَٰكِنَّهُمۡ قَوۡمٞ يَفۡرَقُونَ,

56. They swear by Allah that they are of you while they are not of you, but they are a people who are afraid [155].

Ayah 59

وَلَوۡ أَنَّهُمۡ رَضُواْ مَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥ وَقَالُواْ حَسۡبُنَا ٱللَّهُ سَيُؤۡتِينَا ٱللَّهُ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦ وَرَسُولُهُۥٓ إِنَّآ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ رَٰغِبُونَ,

59. What good would it have been if they had been pleased [159] with what Allah and His Messenger had given them and would have said: "Sufficient [160] for us is Allah. Allah gives us of His Bounty [161] and so the Messenger of Allah. To Allah, only, we turn in submission.

Ayah 60

۞إِنَّمَا ٱلصَّدَقَٰتُ لِلۡفُقَرَآءِ وَٱلۡمَسَٰكِينِ وَٱلۡعَٰمِلِينَ عَلَيۡهَا وَٱلۡمُؤَلَّفَةِ قُلُوبُهُمۡ وَفِي ٱلرِّقَابِ وَٱلۡغَٰرِمِينَ وَفِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱبۡنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِۖ فَرِيضَةٗ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٞ,

60. The poor due is only for those who are poor and needy, and those who collect [162] it, and for those whose hearts are to be conciliated [163] for Islam, and for the freeing [164] of slaves and for debtors and for spending in the way of Allah [165], and for the traveler [166]. This has been ordained by Allah [167]. And Allah is All-Knowing, Wise.

Ayah 61

وَمِنۡهُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ يُؤۡذُونَ ٱلنَّبِيَّ وَيَقُولُونَ هُوَ أُذُنٞۚ قُلۡ أُذُنُ خَيۡرٖ لَّكُمۡ يُؤۡمِنُ بِٱللَّهِ وَيُؤۡمِنُ لِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَرَحۡمَةٞ لِّلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مِنكُمۡۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ يُؤۡذُونَ رَسُولَ ٱللَّهِ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ,

61. And among them are those who trouble the Prophet and say, "He is an ear [168]." Say, "He is an ear of goodness [169] for you; he believes in Allah and believes [170] the words of the believers, and is a mercy [171] for those among you who believe." And those who trouble [172] the Messenger of Allah—for them is a painful punishment [173].

Ayah 62

يَحۡلِفُونَ بِٱللَّهِ لَكُمۡ لِيُرۡضُوكُمۡ وَٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥٓ أَحَقُّ أَن يُرۡضُوهُ إِن كَانُواْ مُؤۡمِنِينَ,

62. They swear by Allah to you to please you [174]. But Allah and His Messenger have a greater right that they should please [175] Him (i.e., Allah), if they are believers.

Ayah 63

أَلَمۡ يَعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّهُۥ مَن يُحَادِدِ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ فَأَنَّ لَهُۥ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدٗا فِيهَاۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡخِزۡيُ ٱلۡعَظِيمُ,

63. Are they not aware [176] that whoever opposes Allah and His Messenger—for him is the fire of Hell, in which he will abide forever [177]? That is the great humiliation.

Ayah 64

يَحۡذَرُ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقُونَ أَن تُنَزَّلَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ سُورَةٞ تُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا فِي قُلُوبِهِمۡۚ قُلِ ٱسۡتَهۡزِءُوٓاْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مُخۡرِجٞ مَّا تَحۡذَرُونَ,

64. The hypocrites fear that a Surah (chapter) may be revealed about them, informing them of what is in their hearts [178]. Say, "Mock on [179]; indeed, Allah will bring forth that which you fear [180]."

Ayah 65

وَلَئِن سَأَلۡتَهُمۡ لَيَقُولُنَّ إِنَّمَا كُنَّا نَخُوضُ وَنَلۡعَبُۚ قُلۡ أَبِٱللَّهِ وَءَايَٰتِهِۦ وَرَسُولِهِۦ كُنتُمۡ تَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ,

65. And if you ask them, [O Beloved Prophet], they will surely say [181], "We were only talking idly and playing." Say, "Is it Allah, His verses, and His Messenger that you were mocking?"

Ayah 67

ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقُونَ وَٱلۡمُنَٰفِقَٰتُ بَعۡضُهُم مِّنۢ بَعۡضٖۚ يَأۡمُرُونَ بِٱلۡمُنكَرِ وَيَنۡهَوۡنَ عَنِ ٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ وَيَقۡبِضُونَ أَيۡدِيَهُمۡۚ نَسُواْ ٱللَّهَ فَنَسِيَهُمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ هُمُ ٱلۡفَٰسِقُونَ,

67. The hypocrite men and hypocrite women are all alike [184]. They enjoin evil and forbid good [185] and withhold their hands [186]. They have forgotten Allah, so He has forgotten them. Indeed, the hypocrites are the defiantly disobedient [187].

Surah Name : At-Tawbah   Surah Number : 9   Ayat Number: 67

Ayah 68

وَعَدَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ وَٱلۡمُنَٰفِقَٰتِ وَٱلۡكُفَّارَ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَاۚ هِيَ حَسۡبُهُمۡۚ وَلَعَنَهُمُ ٱللَّهُۖ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ مُّقِيمٞ,

68. Allah has promised the hypocrite men and hypocrite women, as well as the disbelievers, the fire of Hell, wherein they will abide forever. That is sufficient for them. And the curse of Allah is upon them, and for them is a lasting punishment [188].

Ayah 71

وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتُ بَعۡضُهُمۡ أَوۡلِيَآءُ بَعۡضٖۚ يَأۡمُرُونَ بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ وَيَنۡهَوۡنَ عَنِ ٱلۡمُنكَرِ وَيُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُؤۡتُونَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَيُطِيعُونَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥٓۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ سَيَرۡحَمُهُمُ ٱللَّهُۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٞ,

71. And the Muslim men and women are allies [197] to one another. They encourage good and forbid evil, and establish prayer and pay the poor-due and obey Allah and His Messenger. These are they on whom Allah will have mercy [198]. Indeed, Allah is Dominant, the Wise [199].

Surah Name : At-Tawbah   Surah Number : 9   Ayat Number: 71

Ayah 72

وَعَدَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِ جَنَّـٰتٖ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا وَمَسَٰكِنَ طَيِّبَةٗ فِي جَنَّـٰتِ عَدۡنٖۚ وَرِضۡوَٰنٞ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ أَكۡبَرُۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡعَظِيمُ,

72. Allah has promised Muslim men and women Gardens [200], under which rivers flow, wherein they shall reside forever, and clean houses [201] in the inhabitable gardens. And the pleasure of Allah is the greatest [202]. This is the achievement of the greater goal [203].

Surah Name : At-Tawbah   Surah Number : 9   Ayat Number: 72

Ayah 74

يَحۡلِفُونَ بِٱللَّهِ مَا قَالُواْ وَلَقَدۡ قَالُواْ كَلِمَةَ ٱلۡكُفۡرِ وَكَفَرُواْ بَعۡدَ إِسۡلَٰمِهِمۡ وَهَمُّواْ بِمَا لَمۡ يَنَالُواْۚ وَمَا نَقَمُوٓاْ إِلَّآ أَنۡ أَغۡنَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦۚ فَإِن يَتُوبُواْ يَكُ خَيۡرٗا لَّهُمۡۖ وَإِن يَتَوَلَّوۡاْ يُعَذِّبۡهُمُ ٱللَّهُ عَذَابًا أَلِيمٗا فِي ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۚ وَمَا لَهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مِن وَلِيّٖ وَلَا نَصِيرٖ,

74. They swear by Allah that they did not say it, but certainly they uttered the words of infidelity [207], and became disbelievers after accepting Islam. And they had desired that which they could not get [208], and what they felt bad about was that Allah and His Messenger had enriched [209] them with bounties. If they repent, it is good for them, and if they turn away, then Allah will punish them with a severe punishment in the world and in the Hereafter. And on the earth, they shall have neither any supporter nor any helper [210].

Surah Name : At-Tawbah   Surah Number : 9   Ayat Number: 74

Ayah 75

۞وَمِنۡهُم مَّنۡ عَٰهَدَ ٱللَّهَ لَئِنۡ ءَاتَىٰنَا مِن فَضۡلِهِۦ لَنَصَّدَّقَنَّ وَلَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ,

75. And of them there are some who had promised with Allah that if He will give us out of His Bounty, then We shall surely give in charity and we shall surely become good people.

Surah Name : At-Tawbah   Surah Number : 9   Ayat Number: 75

Ayah 76

فَلَمَّآ ءَاتَىٰهُم مِّن فَضۡلِهِۦ بَخِلُواْ بِهِۦ وَتَوَلَّواْ وَّهُم مُّعۡرِضُونَ,

76. Then, when Allah gave them out of His Bounty, they became misers and turned away, turning their faces [212].

Ayah 77

فَأَعۡقَبَهُمۡ نِفَاقٗا فِي قُلُوبِهِمۡ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ يَلۡقَوۡنَهُۥ بِمَآ أَخۡلَفُواْ ٱللَّهَ مَا وَعَدُوهُ وَبِمَا كَانُواْ يَكۡذِبُونَ,

77. Therefore, Allah caused hypocrisy to enter into their hearts until the Day they meet Him [213], because they broke what they promised to Allah[214], and because they were lying.
