ثُمَّ أَنشَأۡنَا مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡ قَرۡنًا ءَاخَرِينَ

Summaa anshaana mim ba'dihim qarnan aakhareen
फिर हमने उनके पश्चात् दूसरे समुदाय को पैदा किया।

आयत 32 में से 118

فَأَرۡسَلۡنَا فِيهِمۡ رَسُولٗا مِّنۡهُمۡ أَنِ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنۡ إِلَٰهٍ غَيۡرُهُۥٓۚ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ

Fa arsalnaa feehim Rasoolam minhum ani'budul laaha maa lakum min ilaahin ghairuhoo afalaa tattaqoon (section 2)
फिर हमने उनके अंदर उन्हीं में से एक रसूल भेजा कि अल्लाह की इबादत करो, उसके सिवा तुम्हारा कोई पूज्य नहीं। तो क्या तुम डरते नहीं?

وَقَالَ ٱلۡمَلَأُ مِن قَوۡمِهِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَكَذَّبُواْ بِلِقَآءِ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ وَأَتۡرَفۡنَٰهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا مَا هَٰذَآ إِلَّا بَشَرٞ مِّثۡلُكُمۡ يَأۡكُلُ مِمَّا تَأۡكُلُونَ مِنۡهُ وَيَشۡرَبُ مِمَّا تَشۡرَبُونَ

Wa qaalal mala-u min qawmihil lazeena kafaroo wa kazzaboo bi liqaaa'il Aakhirati wa atrafnaahum fil hayaatid dunyaa maa haazaaa illaa basharum mislukum yaakulu mimmaa taakuloona minhu wa yashrabu mimmaa tashraboon
और उसकी जाति के उन प्रमुखों ने, जिन्होंने कुफ़्र किया और आख़िरत की भेंट को झुठलाया, तथा हमने उन्हें सांसारिक जीवन में सुख-समृद्धि प्रदान कर रखी थी, कहा : यह तो बस तुम्हारे ही जैसा एक इनसान है। जो उसमें से खाता है, जिसमें से तुम खाते हो और उसमें से पीता है, जो तुम पीते हो।

وَلَئِنۡ أَطَعۡتُم بَشَرٗا مِّثۡلَكُمۡ إِنَّكُمۡ إِذٗا لَّخَٰسِرُونَ

Wa la'in at'atum basharam mislakum innakum izal lakhaasiroon
और निःसंदेह यदि तुमने अपने ही जैसे एक मनुष्य का कहना मान लिया, तो निश्चय तुम उस समय अवश्य घाटा उठाने वाले होगे।

أَيَعِدُكُمۡ أَنَّكُمۡ إِذَا مِتُّمۡ وَكُنتُمۡ تُرَابٗا وَعِظَٰمًا أَنَّكُم مُّخۡرَجُونَ

A-Ya'idukum annakum izaa mittum wa kuntum turaabanw wa izaaman annakum mukhrajoon
क्या यह तुमसे वादा करता है कि जब तुम मर गए और धूल तथा हड्डियाँ बन गए, तो तुम निकाले जाने वाले हो?

Haihaata haihaata limaa too'adoon
दूरी है, दूरी है उसके लिए जिसका तुमसे वादा किया जाता है।

إِنۡ هِيَ إِلَّا حَيَاتُنَا ٱلدُّنۡيَا نَمُوتُ وَنَحۡيَا وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمَبۡعُوثِينَ

In hiya illaa hayaatunad dunyaa namootu wa nahyaa wa maa nahnu bimab'ooseen
यह (जीवन) तो बस हमारा सांसारिक जीवन है। हम (यहीं) मरते और जीते हैं। और हम कभी उठाए जाने वाले नहीं।

إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا رَجُلٌ ٱفۡتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبٗا وَمَا نَحۡنُ لَهُۥ بِمُؤۡمِنِينَ

In huwa illaa rajulunif taraa 'alal laahi kazibanw wa maa nahnuu lahoo bimu'mineen
यह तो बस एक व्यक्ति है, जिसने अल्लाह पर एक झूठ गढ़ लिया है और हम कदापि उसे मानने वाले नहीं हैं।

उसने कहा : ऐ मेरे पालनहार! मेरी मदद कर, इसलिए कि इन्होंने मुझे झुठलाया है।

Qaala 'ammaa qaleelil la yusbihunna naadimeen
(अल्लाह ने) कहा : बहुत ही कम समय में ये अवश्य पछताएँगे।
