आयत 101 में से 129

وَمِمَّنۡ حَوۡلَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَعۡرَابِ مُنَٰفِقُونَۖ وَمِنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡمَدِينَةِ مَرَدُواْ عَلَى ٱلنِّفَاقِ لَا تَعۡلَمُهُمۡۖ نَحۡنُ نَعۡلَمُهُمۡۚ سَنُعَذِّبُهُم مَّرَّتَيۡنِ ثُمَّ يُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ عَذَابٍ عَظِيمٖ,

Wa mimmann hawlakum minal A'raabi munaafiqoona wa min ahlil Madeenati maradoo 'alan nifaaq, laa ta'lamuhum nahnu na'lamuhum; sanu'azzibuhum marrataini summa yuraddoona ilaa 'azaabin 'azeem
और तुम्हारे आस-पास जो देहाती हैं, उनमें से कुछ लोग मुनाफ़िक़ हैं और मदीना वालों में से भी, जो अपने निफ़ाक़ (पाखंड) पर जमे हुए हैं। आप उन्हें नहीं जानते, हम ही उन्हें जानते हैं। जल्द ही हम उन्हें दो बार[45] यातना देंगे। फिर वे बहुत बड़ी यातना की ओर लौटाए जाएँगे।

وَءَاخَرُونَ ٱعۡتَرَفُواْ بِذُنُوبِهِمۡ خَلَطُواْ عَمَلٗا صَٰلِحٗا وَءَاخَرَ سَيِّئًا عَسَى ٱللَّهُ أَن يَتُوبَ عَلَيۡهِمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٌ,

Wa aakharoo na'tarafoo bizunoobihim khalatoo 'amalan saalihanw wa aakhara saiyi'an 'asal laahu 'any yatooba 'alaihim; innal laaha Ghafoorur Raheem
और कुछ अन्य लोग भी हैं, जिन्होंने अपने गुनाहों का इक़रार किया। उन्होंने कुछ काम अच्छे और कुछ दूसरे बुरे मिला दिए। निकट है कि अल्लाह उनपर फिर से दया करे। निःसंदेह अल्लाह अति क्षमाशील, अत्यंत दयावान् है।

خُذۡ مِنۡ أَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ صَدَقَةٗ تُطَهِّرُهُمۡ وَتُزَكِّيهِم بِهَا وَصَلِّ عَلَيۡهِمۡۖ إِنَّ صَلَوٰتَكَ سَكَنٞ لَّهُمۡۗ وَٱللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ,

Khuz min amwaalihim sadaqatan tutahhiruhum wa tuzakkeehim bihaa wa salli 'alaihim inna salaataka sakanul lahum; wallaahu Samee'un 'Aleem
आप उनके मालों में से दान लें, जिसके साथ आप उन्हें पवित्र और पाक-साफ़ करें, तथा उनके लिए दुआ करें। निःसंदेह आपकी दुआ उनके लिए शांति का कारण है और अल्लाह सब कुछ सुनने वाला, सब कुछ जानने वाला है।

आयत 104 में से 129

أَلَمۡ يَعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ يَقۡبَلُ ٱلتَّوۡبَةَ عَنۡ عِبَادِهِۦ وَيَأۡخُذُ ٱلصَّدَقَٰتِ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ,

Alam ya'lamooo annal laaha huwa yaqbalut tawbata 'an ibaadihee wa ya'khuzus sadaqaati wa annal laaha huwat Tawwaabur Raheem
क्या वे नहीं जानते कि निःसंदेह अल्लाह ही अपने बंदों की तौबा क़बूल करता और सदक़े लेता है और यह कि निःसंदेह अल्लाह ही है जो बहुत अधिक तौबा क़बूल करने वाला, अत्यंत दयावान् है।

وَقُلِ ٱعۡمَلُواْ فَسَيَرَى ٱللَّهُ عَمَلَكُمۡ وَرَسُولُهُۥ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَۖ وَسَتُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ عَٰلِمِ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ,

Wa qul i'maloo fasayaral laahu 'amalakum wa Rasooluhoo wal mu'minoon; wa saturaddoona ilaa 'Aalimil Ghaibi washshahaadati fa yunabbi'ukum bimaa kuntum ta'maloon
और कह दीजिए : तुम कर्म किए जाओ। जल्द ही अल्लाह तुम्हारे कर्मों को देखेगा, और उसके रसूल और ईमान वाले भी। और जल्द ही तुम हर परोक्ष और प्रत्यक्ष बात को जानने वाले की ओर लौटाए जाओगे। फिर वह तुम्हें बताएगा जो कुछ तुम किया करते थे

وَءَاخَرُونَ مُرۡجَوۡنَ لِأَمۡرِ ٱللَّهِ إِمَّا يُعَذِّبُهُمۡ وَإِمَّا يَتُوبُ عَلَيۡهِمۡۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٞ,

Wa aakharoona murjawna li amril laahi immaa yu'azzibuhum wa immaa yatoobu 'alaihim; wallaahu 'Aleemun Hakeem
और कुछ दूसरे लोग भी हैं, जिनका मामला अल्लाह का आदेश आने तक स्थगित[46] है। या तो वह उन्हें यातना दे और या फिर उनकी तौबा क़बूल करे। तथा अल्लाह सब कुछ जानने वाला, पूर्ण हिकमत वाला है।

وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُواْ مَسۡجِدٗا ضِرَارٗا وَكُفۡرٗا وَتَفۡرِيقَۢا بَيۡنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَإِرۡصَادٗا لِّمَنۡ حَارَبَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ مِن قَبۡلُۚ وَلَيَحۡلِفُنَّ إِنۡ أَرَدۡنَآ إِلَّا ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰۖ وَٱللَّهُ يَشۡهَدُ إِنَّهُمۡ لَكَٰذِبُونَ,

Wallazeenat takhazoo masjidan diraaranw wa kufranw wa tafreeqan bainal mu'mineena wa irsaadal liman haarabal laaha wa Rasoolahoo min qabl; wa la yahlifunna in aradnaaa illal husnaa wallaahu yash hadu innahum lakaaziboon
तथा (मुनाफ़िक़ों में से) वे लोग भी हैं, जिन्होंने एक मस्जिद[47] बनाई; ताकि (मुसलमानों को) हानि पहुँचाएँ, कुफ़्र करें, ईमान वालों के बीच फूट डालें तथा ऐसे व्यक्ति के लिए घात लगाने का ठिकाना बनाएँ, जो इससे पहले अल्लाह और उसके रसूल से युद्ध कर चुका[48] है। तथा निश्चय वे अवश्य क़समें खाएँगे कि हमारा इरादा भलाई के सिवा और कुछ न था, और अल्लाह गवाही देता है कि निःसंदेह वे निश्चय झूठे हैं।

لَا تَقُمۡ فِيهِ أَبَدٗاۚ لَّمَسۡجِدٌ أُسِّسَ عَلَى ٱلتَّقۡوَىٰ مِنۡ أَوَّلِ يَوۡمٍ أَحَقُّ أَن تَقُومَ فِيهِۚ فِيهِ رِجَالٞ يُحِبُّونَ أَن يَتَطَهَّرُواْۚ وَٱللَّهُ يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُطَّهِّرِينَ,

Laa taqum feehi abadaa; lamasjidun ussisa 'alat taqwaa min awwali yawmin ahaqqu 'an taqooma feeh; feehi rijaaluny yuhibbona 'any yata tah haroo; wallaahu yuhibbul muttah hireen
उसमें कभी खड़े न होना। निश्चय वह मस्जिद[49] जिसकी बुनियाद पहले दिन से परहेज़गारी पर रखी गई है, वह अधिक योग्य है कि आप उसमें खड़े हों। उसमें ऐसे लोग हैं, जो बहुत पाक-साफ़ रहना पसंद[50] करते हैं और अल्लाह पाक-साफ़ रहने वालों से प्रेम करता है।

أَفَمَنۡ أَسَّسَ بُنۡيَٰنَهُۥ عَلَىٰ تَقۡوَىٰ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرِضۡوَٰنٍ خَيۡرٌ أَم مَّنۡ أَسَّسَ بُنۡيَٰنَهُۥ عَلَىٰ شَفَا جُرُفٍ هَارٖ فَٱنۡهَارَ بِهِۦ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهۡدِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ,

Afaman assasa bunyaanahoo 'alaa taqwaa minal laahi wa ridwaanin khairun am man assasa bunyaanahoo 'alaa shafaa jurufin haarin fanhaara bihee fee Naari Jahannam; wallaahu laa yahdil qawmaz zaalimeen
तो क्या वह व्यक्ति बेहतर है जिसने अपनी इमारत की नींव अल्लाह के डर और उसकी खुशी पर रखी, या वह जिसने अपनी इमारत की नींव एक गड्ढे के किनारे पर रखी जो ढहने वाला था? तो वह उसके साथ जहन्नम की आग में गिर पड़ा और अल्लाह ज़ालिमों को हिदायत नहीं देता।

لَا يَزَالُ بُنۡيَٰنُهُمُ ٱلَّذِي بَنَوۡاْ رِيبَةٗ فِي قُلُوبِهِمۡ إِلَّآ أَن تَقَطَّعَ قُلُوبُهُمۡۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ,

Laa yazaalu bunyaanu humul lazee banaw reebatan fee quloobihim illaaa an taqatta'a quloobuhum; wal laahu 'Aleemun Hakeem
उनका भवन जो उन्होंने बनाया है, उनके दिलों में हमेशा चिंता का स्रोत रहेगा, परंतु यह कि उनके दिलों के टुकड़े-टुकड़े हो जाएँ। तथा अल्लाह सब कुछ जानने वाला, पूर्ण हिकमत वाला है।

Known as "The Immunity," Surah At-Tawbah is the 9th chapter of the Glorious Quran. It contains 129 ayat (verses) and was revealed in Medina after the Prophet (ﷺ) migrated there. This surah consists of two juz (parts). Verses 1 through 92 are in the 10th juz, and verses 93 to 129 are in the 11th juz.

This surah continues from the previous one, as it begins by calling an end to the numerous peace treaties broken by the pagans. The believers are encouraged to join the Prophet (ﷺ) in marching to Tabuk for battle during the summer of 9 A.H. / 631 C.E., and hypocrites—who make spurious excuses—are uncovered and refuted. Muslims are reminded of Allah's protection at the Battle of Uhud, when their defeat turned into a successful victory, as well as how He shielded His Messenger (ﷺ) during his journey to Medina. Throughout this surah, Allah's tolerance for repentance is continually emphasized, hence its title.
